This restaurant is closed. It has relocated to Sheraton Park. Food good and served hot. Good choice.

I like the bar. Great pub feel with a nice distribution of taps. I have only eaten a few shrimp here and they were tasty, but the food I have seen and smelt looked very appealing. I can tell the crowd is very local and seem to all be frequenting the place. I will go back.

Eat here every week. Great fish and chips and the fish is always fresh. My kids loved the shepherd’s pie.

Lots of potential, but poorly executed. Potatoes are boxed. As my husband said, «I’ve eaten enough good potatoes and enough army potatoes to know the difference. Bangers were small and served with baked beans. Wth? Fried shrimp were very greasy. Owners have a great environment, but food needs a lot of work. Service could stand to be much faster as well.

This trip(instead of fish and chips) I thought I would try the 10 oz chopped sirloin(that’s a hamburger patty for you City Slickers). It was Hand made. Flakey to the touch. Came apart with the slightest of intervention with my fork and knife. Came covered with, but not smothered with an Mushroom and gravy that was tasteful and not over powering. Served with Large steak fries. And a House salad… very good bleu cheese, which had large chunks of cheese. It was also very thick. Finished with a hard crust, split top type of Table bread. I was well pleased with my meal. The chopped sirloin(hamburger steak) was cooked to order, and had a run off of juices, that were a pleasure to dab at with the table bread. Fresh salad, and excellent bread. Recommended @Removeyourhat

I agree with Tandra… How does a self described English restaurant mess up their fish and chips? Mine were soggy filled with grease, and battered so thick, I had to say«WHERESTHEFISH» and this was on Tuesday the 15th of may 2012. Over a year after they’ve been open! And the second time I’ve found this same problem. The onion rings and sauce earned them one star. If I hadn’t had them, this place would be on my Do Not Ever Go To This Place list.

Have only been here for snack/beverages — they have some great appetizers and desserts. Convenient location close to SC-278 @ Sun City.
