Golden Corral

This place is super clean and our waitress is awesome. The food is great and so are the desserts. I really liked ordering my steak and it being cooked perfectly and hot off the grill.

My first experience at this location was with a friend whose weight distribution is that of a true buffet MVP. Pay at the door upon entering, choose your beverage, grab one of the dull colored 70’s plates and pick your starting point. No need to start at the salads end nor the opposing desserts end, just slip in and out of choice tray areas with a simple «pardon me».
I hesitate in saying the options are limitless but there are steaming hot trays for a good 60 feet from end to end. Two carving stations slcarve up continuous slices of beef and turkey which is located next to a favorite option of mine, the mac & cheese. If you enjoy salad you will be very happy as you will be the only person in that section. Yet the fruit and vegetables are plentiful, fresh and available.
None of the food would be considered one of the best you have ever eaten nor exciting enough for me to revisit for seconds but the idea is to exercise the high variety seeker in you to try a little of everything. Oddly I find myself more in the breakfast bins as the scrambled eggs are so darn good and when combined with the smokey and extra crisp bacon, its a hungry man’s first or second meal of the days dream come true.
The servers really work hard refilling glasses, replacing forks that fall, grabbing dirty plates and more. Do the right think and shell out a few dollars for these hard working folks.

I don’t review a restaurant like Golden Corral usually. This one is different. Along withe the usual fare, that is well presented, is an assortment of Chinese dishes and American seafood. We visit Hilton Head regularly and always hit this place at least once. This one must have a good manager. The staff is friendly and well trained in the food industry. The food is presented well on fully stocked trays that are clean. My only reservation is that fountain spurring white and brown chocolate. Various things that can be stuck on a wooden stick and shoved into the fountain are offered. I have horrendous visions of fingers, toes, tongues, and whatever shoved in there as well. I would not touch it with rubber gloves. Get rid of it Golden Corral it is disgusting.

I love eating here around Brunch time on Sundays. The breakfast food is pretty decent, and then they also serve lunch food as well. I think because of the proximity to the sea, the seafood tastes fresher. Overall I find this location to have more variety in food selection compared to other Golden Corrals I’ve been to.

The place is nice and clean. But the food is not the best.

Normally, I would not review golden corral on Unilocal but this has to be the cleanest and best managed GC that I have visited.

Have been here a few times over the past few years.
Golden Corral is a chain of casual dining buffet restaurants. Good selection of casual/​traditional American dishes including steak, pork chops, rotisserie chicken and barbecue. Good balance of salads, vegetables, and mixed entrees (hispanic, asian, etc).
This location in Bluffton/​Hilton Head is one of the better ones I’ve tried so far. The place is clean and the service is OK.
