The very best. I went here twice for take out and everybody was very friendly and helpful. Since it was my first time doing this, I was not sure of the procedure, but they explained it to me. As I waited for my order, I observed how hard the team works to make everything great for the customers. They move together like a well oiled machine with smiles. I would recommend this place to everybody. It is very busy which is another indication of how great the service is. The prices are reasonable and my food was fantastic!

I love the Outback just like everyone else but this has got to be one of the worst ones around. Very inconsistent. When the 2 female bartenders were there, this place ran like a charm. Steaks not cooked to order. Very disappointing

Very, very slow service, food was a bit coold today as if it had been sitting for a while waiting to be brought to my table. Staff was nice but didn’t seem to work well together. Not a good experience!

Shame… Just left this location and was highly disappointed with the service. We arrived at approximately at 6pm on 9⁄21. We were promptly seated in this mostly empty restaurant and left there for over 15 minutes without a sign of our waitress or the manager Bill. We watched others be served so I told my wife and our young daughter we would give them another 5 minutes. That time came and went and so did we. As we left the hostesses said thanks have a great evening what a joke.

Well, I’m going to give this restaurant 5 Stars for Customer Service and Recognition. I dine out frequently because I am constantly on the road and on my own away from my husband and kid’s. As a woman, I like to walk into well lit and known places where I will feel safe. I just moved into the Bluffton area having purchased a second home a year ago and finally got around to doing something about the place, and of course, the OutBack is a well known franchise. I always buy their gift certificates. Driving up to the place it had everything I previously stated. So, back to my review, it’s hard to keep consistency in restaurant’s – let alone franchises. The hardest business to own or run is a restaurant. My family was in the restaurant business for over 60 years and bakery beyond that time, so perhaps, I am sympathetic to the hard work that running a restaurant involves. Tonight, not having any food in my refrigerator-again, after a week, of calling in, I decided to walk-in. I sat at the bar. I’m use to this-people look, but hey, I’m hungry and I ordered my meal. The waiter knew I was ordering gluten free without my going into details. Appreciated. However, my meal did come to me not cooked. I do enjoy cooked food-doesn’t have to be mushy, but I like to be able to place my fork to the carrot. The vegetables were hard, the meat was rare, I ordered well done, and the house salad had the wrong dressing. Bummer. The Tea was good. The bartender of course noticed I didn’t eat much of my meal. I tried to choke down the meat. Anyway, to my shock, he mentioned my dissatisfaction to the manager and they picked up the tab on my meal. I was embarrassed because I pay for what I order or buy and always have justly so, figuring I ordered it and that’s life. Also, everyone in there has to earn a living. So, I’m giving this restaurant 5 Stars for Customer Service and Recognition of errors. This means to me that they are trying to change in order to make a profit. Restaurant’s make such a marginal profit on food anyway. People don’t understand this about restaurants, they think that they’re money machines and a restaurant can be if well established and organized to a fine pencil point-this takes hard work. My dad taught me about the profit margin per plate when I was a kid and he could walk into a restaurant count the number of tables and chairs, parking spaces, etc., in an instant, look at the menu, and tell you pretty much what that restaurant was earning. So, I feel this review fair and unbiased. I believe if I would have said something sooner, they would have taken the food back – but I am distrustful of that move, never knowing what will return from the kitchen staff-guess I travel to much, so I never do that instead, I suck it up. In this case, I learned that I should have said something sooner and I would not be sitting here writing this review on a hungry stomach. Tomorrow, I’ll look for breakfast. My fault. I’ll try the place again or buy some gift certificates. Karma says I must. Thanks for trying.

Too damn slow on a Sunday afternoon. It didn’t look busy at all so I thought we could still make our movie with a 1hr 10minutes to go. Nope… they managed to drag everything out in the process from taking our order to making the lunch. The only thing I got in decent time was the check when I asked for because my family had to movie to catch. I am already 5 minutes late as I write this review. Not coming here again…

The prices have gone up tremendously. We arrived and nobody was there waiting, we were told 10 minute wait for bar with 6 open tables. We waited for about 5 minutes and were finally seated at one of the many open tables. During our time there, they only filled 2 of the open tables, so they can’t blame it on their call-ahead seating. We were told the salad would arrive a few minutes after the appetizer and it didn’t come for another 20 minutes. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. Kelly couldn’t get the bill correct when she brought it and said she would fix it when she returned after running our cards. We still had a question and she was extremely rude by just walking away and she didn’t offer to get a manager. She also had another table upset about her service(we could overhear), so we know it wasn’t just us. Kudos to the kitchen staff for knowing how to cook a steak, too bad they weren’t waiting tables too.

July 4th. Lunch. Service extremely slow even tho not many customers in restaurant. Steak was only fair, not typical Outback. Would not return to is particular restaurant. Almost an hour to get our order.

Over seasoned steaks hide the quality of the meat. First steak was ordered with no seasoning and was so tough I had to send it back. Next one was very seasoned and not as fought.

I’m generally not one to write bad reviews, but good kid, this one needed it. Brought my parents here after they just drove out second car across the country, and figured we could have a decently nice dinner. The following is the chain of events that happened. Sat down, waited 15 minutes for our server to even come by and take drink orders. Waited another 15 minutes for drinks to be delivered and for her to take our orders. Got our blooming onion in a pretty timely manner, but then waited over an hour to get our food, which consisted of a salad, two cups of soup, steak tacos, and some crab avocado concoction, AKA things that take very little time and effort to make. The waiter never once walked around and gave us an update on our order. By the time we got it, it was all cold and the consistency had changed from sitting around so long. Then it took another 30 minutes to get our bill, and when the waiter noticed we hadn’t eaten very much of it, she didn’t mind to even ask if the food was okay, but instead asked if we wanted to go boxes. After we brought to her attention how disappointing the food was, she got her manager, who looked all of 14 years old, who in turn tried to turn the bad service around on us and the fact that the place was«packed». In his world, 5 tables must mean packed. He offered to take the food off, but then tried to make us wait around for the bill so he could give us a gift card to come back again. Sorry dude. That won’t be happening. I love me some outback, but I will not come back to this location again!

Always a consistently good Sirloin Steak, no matter what Outback you visit. This Outback has good service and nice people waiting on you. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a business dinner tonight at the Bluffton Outback. The food was very good, as expected, as well as the service. I would recommend the particular franchise location.

Waiter screwed up my order and tried to charge me for a higher priced item than I ordered. They corrected that after two attempts to get it right. Then the manager came over and said I got a higher priced item than I ordered and I should be «happy». When I ordered my steak I even pointed to it on the menu. If the waiter got it wrong is it my problem? I feel the manager was accusing me of ordering a higher priced item and only wanting to pay for a lower priced item. I used to like Outback. I won’t be back!

I have been coming here for a few months now and unfortunately have to say I am overall disappointed with this restaurant. The food is generally good, but awful service. I haven’t received a correct order or dined here without sending food back. My shortest visit here has been 90 minutes long, and that was on a slow night with somewhat acceptable service. The manager comped a couple of my dinners when I brought up the long wait and incorrect orders, but time after time again there has been no improvement. My advice, stay away unless you have an evening to kill and enjoy cold food. Update 11÷30÷14: returned for dinner service last night. And disappointed once again. Appetizer was cold, forgot my sauce. Steak was overcooked again, and the worse service by far. 25 – 30 minutes would go by a between check ins by our waiter, drinks were never refilled unless we asked for them. Decided that we are no longer doing to be customers of outback. This one made it on our blacklist.

Great French Onion soup. Okay service, didn’t get a lot of attention but didn’t need it. I recommend the Margarita pitcher. Looked really good!

The food was good, this time. We saw more of the food runner than our waitress. He got a way bigger tip. Who’s running this place? What a local spot…

On our way home from Hilton Head we stopped here for lunch. Right away my wife noticed a stinky smell. After looking at other reviews midway through our weird experience we notice another reviewer commenting on the«STINKYMOPSMELL» Yep, we agree. Our server Abigail seemed like she was also out to lunch. Bringing me 2⁄3 of the way filled Diet Cokes and never asking my wife if she ever needed a tea refill. She did not but we feel we should be asked. So two stars because my Bloomin’ Onion Burger was good and my wife’s Chicken Sandwich /Caesar salad lunch combo tasted fine. But the chicken was about ½ the size of the lettuce and the bun. It did not look much like the picture. Abigail commented that you just never know which way it will be. Well it should be that the chicken is nice and big like the photo and you should not have just laughed it off, you twit. We found out today that not all Outback’s are the same and the Bluffton one is at the bottom. If you are going to the movie theater in the same shopping center just fill up on popcorn.

Came a long way to eat here because I’ve been craving outback and the reviews were the best in the area. I have to say that this is Outback Steakhouse done right. The service was prompt, everything came out at the right time, and the food was picture perfect. It tasted as good as it looked too. This is the best Outback I’ve ever eaten at.
