Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and helpful. We found a deal for a tee time online for a 12:30 tee time. Our flight was at 5, so we went there at 11, and asked to go off early. NOPROBLEM, they let us go right off, and even allowed my mom to use their member pool while she waited for us. On our trip to Hilton Head, we ended up golfing here twice, and have to say it was some of the best golf experience we’ve had. Course was in great shape, only complaint was some of the water coolers were empty. My two brothers and I work on golf courses, so we can really appreciate the way Pinecrest operates. Tip: Book a tee time online at . There are tons of promo codes available, and I got 35% off in July, and it came out to 48.87 total for 3 people, 18 holes, and 2 carts.

My Dad and I played this past Saturday. The layout of the facilities is massive. We played in the afternoon for only $ 34, which was a bargain. The customer service at the pro shop could improve a bit. It was already in the 90’s around 2pm with a chance of T-Storms, but didn’t deter us. On to the course, the tee boxes were in great shape as were the majority of the fairways. The super had recently aerated the greens so they were a bit on the slow side but manageable. The bunkers were not too deep and were extremely fluffy. We were going at a pretty good clip and thought we had a chance to finish our round in 3.5 hours. That is when it all went downhill. Not once did we see a marshal. We were stuck behind a single and a two-some in front of the single, then a single in front of the two-some. Our round ended in 5 hours and 15 minutes. Overall, I like the course design and the maintenance. Things to improve: Pro shop customer service and for the love of everything holy to a golfer, get a bloody Marshal out there!!!

I played Pinecrest Golf Club, sort of by accident, as I was going to Old Carolina for a quick 9 holes and drove right by the course. I live within a few miles, but it just didnt cross my radar and I am glad it did on this day. $ 40 gets you on and there are early and twilight specials that cut a few bucks off. The wind was howeling on the range and there was rain in the forecast, but I geared up and off I went. If you play from the blues, the wind really hurts you as it feels like 16 holes are into the wind, the putting green was slow and the actual greens were frightening fast, Im not sure if it was infact grass, upon close inspection, it looked like carpet and I just cant stress the speed.killer. 2 driveable par 4’s, which I hit within 20 yards of and bogied one of them. awful! The course is fairly wide open, so driver is the play most of the time, bunkers are not overly protective of the greens and not very deep, but fluffy. #9 and #18 are really beautiful, dont pass up the opportunity to play this course. No GPS on the carts, but FREE yardage books, which I prefer anyway.
