Nice place, but ordering just a coffee is awkward. The food items look good. All female wait staff looks at you like you have 3 heads if you just want a simple coffee & getting one to wait on you or pay is like herding cats. Coffee was good, but I’m sticking with Starbucks.

Great location. Nice atmosphere. Perky and helpful waitstaff. Inside and outside seating. Quality coffee. Why not support a local business. Way better than Starbucks. My coffee cup was actually full unlike another spot I know of. My new go to coffee joint in Bluffton. Did not try the food but looking forward to doing so in the near future.

Best Iced White Chocolate Mocha I have had!!! Staff was friendly; they have fast WiFi, and the outdoor patio has a beautiful view of Old Town Bluffton. I live in Richmond Hill, but will be making the drive out here when I can for the coffee, and atmosphere!

New favorite coffee shop! Their food is very tasty and comes very warm. I’ve never seen a coffee shop this small that serves hot breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with its quality. The cold brew coffee is so good, especially with a shot of hazelnut. They also have mimosas– another surprise for us! They also have«manmosas», which is champagne, OJ, and beer, for all the manly men in your life.

Unilocal says they close at 4 but that is only for their food, they are open much later serving drinks(until 10 or 11 on Saturdays). This was a nice spot to get some late afternoon work done after arriving in town. I had the nitro on the rocks and it was delicious, nice and creamy and smooth. I also order a small«green monster» smoothie for something more filling. I ordered almond milk, not realizing or being informed of the 60 cent up charge but would have gotten it anyway. The smoothie was horrible, tasted like dirty water and I couldn’t drink it. Stick to the coffee and you’ll enjoy this place!

Let me preface by saying I’m a coffee nerd. I’m only satisfied when I can get perfectly extracted espressos and velvety milk cream marks on my typical macchiato order. Anyways, i was staying in Bluffton for a few days and was happy to find a non-Starbucks coffee establishment. Friendly staff. Place is cute. Waitresses are even more cute. One looks just like a young Eva Green. I was kinda smitten. But another gal, a mature blonde, wears the most bizarre make-up. Totally caked on. Unnecessary because looks like she’d be attractive without the layers of ridiculous make-up. The coffee? Pretty good. But not outstanding. Ordered my usual macchiatos during my visits. Score them B or B+ for decent extraction but cream of the milk was a little over-foamed. Like I said… I’m a coffee nerd with ridiculously high standards. On my last visit I ordered a slice of their chocolate cake. It was really tasty. My advice: definitely come here instead of a lousy Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts for coffee. Sit down. Enjoy the friendly staff. And enjoy the nice view from their cute corner location.

Service is slow!!! Staff was just standing around. Maybe some room for improvement on that area …

So we were really hoping to try their coffee and the menu outside looked great and both open signs were on and it was packed but as soon as we walked in we were told they were closed. We walked out and down the street and came back 20 minutes later and the open sign is still on and people inside. Their Unilocal hours says 4:00 and we were there at 3 so you may need to update the hours on here.

Super nice wait staff BUT we have now waited over 45 minutes for a salad and a wrap. We have not eaten yet so I can’t review the food but the very long wait will definitely impact the taste of the food. It looks like a nice place that is busier than they have the capacity to handle. We will not return. Update: we left at 58 minutes from food order with no food. Paid $ 2 for a glass of tea and walked down street to a great place to eat. Served in 15 minutes. GREAT food and friendly staff. I won’t list the other restaurant name so this review does not look like a competitor. Maybe the staff should set expectations on food delivery instead of just a few more minutes. In retrospect, our waitress probably did not turn our order in until later as most folks around us, who ordered after us, we’re served by the time we left.

The food was amazing. The service lacked. We had a new server she was sweet. Honestly it was one of the other girls who seemed like everything bugged her and if you asked her anything it was a problem. My husband got the steak skillet and t was cooked and seasoned to perfection! But his eggs were over done and not how he requested. We didn’t try be coffee but he got a mimosa, not much for what you pay. My Bloody Mary was delicious. I ate the shrimp and grits and it was good. Wish there was maybe more shrimp or the ratio of grits to shrimp was more on the same level. It was good. Probably wouldn’t return because of how long the wait was and the service.

Brioche French Toast was to die for! I got so excited when it arrived I completely forgot to take a photo! My friend got the steak and eggs over grits. She loved it but her steak was ordered med rare and arrived med well. She would give 4 stars. Our server was fabulous and our coffees were fantastic! Crème Brûlée Latte and Coconut White Mocha Latte.

Every single thing we had from beverages to food was fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly. Omelettes were huge and filled with goodies. My breakfast sandwich was made to my liking(minus meat) fresh and SO good. Wish I lived here. I’d come daily.

Extremely busy on Sunday mornings, but incredibly good coffee. It doesn’t seem like a place to study really, not like bigger cafes. But, still nice sitting areas to relax. It obviously has a good reputation based on all the people here, so that’s a good thing. Smells awesome in here.

Bright, airy independent coffee house with delicious food and a full bar. So…do I have to say anything else? I had two cold brew iced coffees and a breakfast sandwich with egg, tomato, spinach, bacon, sausage & sharp cheddar. Prices were reasonable, staff is super friendly, space is comfortable and there’s a great outdoor seating area, too. They do have wifi, so I will be back on my editing job days for more.

On our way home from a week-long vacation in Savannah and Hilton Head, the wifey and I stopped here for brunch. After having sub-par coffee all over Hilton Head(does no one in Hilton Head know how to pull a shot of espresso?), this place was a beacon of light to our taste buds. My wife got a latte, and I got a pour over of the dark roast that was available that day. Both were fantastic. We also had brunch. I got the Nutella Stuffed French Toast. It was not as sweet as one would presume from hearing that name, which was great. Honestly, I enjoyed it so much that I have no idea what my wife got. We both were talking about this place for the next hour after we left and how if we’re in the area again, we’re definitely coming back.

Great place, great staff. Beautiful building and atmosphere. Love the coffee, my daughter loved the hot chocolate and her orange muffin. The menu looks good, although we didn’t have any food. Great location and a place I can see being a regular stop.

I stopped in after attending the Arts Festival. Pleasant surprise. Had a breakfast brunch, French toast to die for. Sat outside, watched the world go by. Great area, old town Bluffton, nice to walk around. I was surprised that they could not serve booze on Sunday, had no license to do so, but ok during the other days, funny… Music outside was very loud, outside of that, vey nice place to relax. Frank G

We’ve been a fan of Corner Perk since the beginning and the new place is awesome! Great food, very friendly staff and a very cool vibe inside. Today I had the Chictukon Melt, my wife had the Chicken Pesto Melt and the kids split the chicken quesadilla. We were all very happy with our choices!

Today, we stumbled upon this restaurant called the corner perk. These folks got it right! As we all know, the restaurant business is fast paced; you get your food eat it and leave. Not at the corner perk. I had the opportunity to meet the owner josh and his lovely wife. I mean literally, they weren’t rushed, they took their time and engaged with each customer. Not only was their customer service great, but their coffee… they roast their own coffee right on the premises. How many times do you get a chance to have a cup of freshly roasted coffee. Everything right down to the salad dressing was homemade. The food was delicious! I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy this experience. You will not regret it!
