It is a hit or miss with the GridIron. My first experience was a Saturday evening game day. They were packed, but staffed well. I got friendly service and an average wait for food. Tasted great. The second time I went for lunch. It was a slow week day. But I still got good service from the bartender/waitress even though I wasn’t at the bar. This was the same waitress as the first time I’ve been a few more times for dinner since then with a bigger party and gotten terrible service and it was extremely slow. Probably there for 2hours. They claimed to be short staffed. Our waitress was not accessible and not very sincere in apologizing… basically a broken record apology(excuse) to every table. Our food was barely warm when we got it and our request for extra sauce was in vain. She was, however, eager to assist my grandpa to show how to fill out the receipt and tip and made sure he had a pen.

A great opportunity to make an impact in the local community and they have missed it. The restaurant was given great support by the town and community however due to the immature female staff I and many locals I know won’t go back. The food is typical bar fare and frankly quite tasty. I am on the road often so my experiences with the restaurant have been spread over a period of time. The girls, while initially friendly when you walk in the door, are more interested in their phones or buds hanging out at the bar. In one case I ordered food, a rib platter, when my bill came I was charged with a bigger plate. Although I discussed it with the waitress and manager they would only agree to a price in between the two. Last chance, I will not be back.
