This restaurant has one of the best bbq pork fried rice I have ever had. The crêpe appetizer was amazing. As was the phở. I tried my brothers shaking beef and it was top notch quality and tasty! Definitely worth trying this place out.

Lemon chicken good … I order without the peppers. Also could ask for broccoli instead. Heavy on the onions.

I have been driving by this restaurant for ages and have been wanting to try it. Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was definitely awesome to say the least. I love the contemporary style they have in the restaurant — very chic. I got this really nice serenity feeling when I walked in as well and had a feeling it was going to be good. They have great tables but my boyfriend and I wanted to sit at there little bar area to watch the basketball game. The bar is super nice as well. Our server was very sweet and attentive. Nick and I both wanted phở soup — I didn’t see any vegetarian or seafood phở’s on the menu, but I asked them if they could do a seafood phở and it wasn’t a problem at all. My boyfriend got the grilled chicken phở. Firstly, the phở’s are huge portions — definitely big enough to share so we had lots of leftovers to take home. Anyways, this is the best phở I have ever had. So so good and light tasting. My boyfriend was a huge fan as well. There are also so many other things that are on the menu that look awesome and that I want to try but it’s going to be difficult trying to venture with a new dish since the phở is awesome. I checked-in on Unilocal and got 15% off on our bill from so that was pretty cool — but even without the 15% off this place is very inexpensive. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because it was sooooooo hot inside the restaurant. We enjoyed our experience, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not sure if they had their air conditioning on and it was just super hot and kind of uncomfortable. So just a recommendation — maybe keep it a little cooler in there for your customers — especially for those eating piping hot soup. Anyways, I look forward to coming back!

We ate here on a Saturday night using the 20 $ LivingSocial voucher. The wait was not that long and the host was very pleasant. Water and chips came quickly. The waiters seemed disorganized. We repeated twice that we wanted the 12 piece rocket shrimp appetizer and ended up receiving the 8 piece. We brought it up with the busboy and he came back later asking«do you still want the 4 extra shrimp?». I thought that was odd since we brought it up with them = means we want the 4 extra shrimp. We also asked for a refill of beer that never came. It also took some time for the waiter to take our entrée order. One entrée came out before the other. However, the food was incredible. The shaking beef was to die for. I would have rated this place a 3, but I will bump it up to 4 because of the food. The service could use some work, maybe some more training as far as taking orders and remembering orders. Luckily the food is great otherwise this place would be forgettable.

Visited this restaurant for an early Friday night dinner. There were a few diners already there and following us, others began to show up and fill the place up. The place is close to Mizner and has a nice modern look inside. There is even a little patio for sitting outside. As soon as we sat down we were given a basket of large round shrimp chips to my delight. Shrimp chips always bring me back to my childhood when we would go into the city(NY) and visit Chinatown. Loved those dang chips! I knew I was going to be ordering some version of Phở before I got there as I do not get to have it very often. I have been to two other places in the area for Phở. Im no expert but I let my taste buds do the talking. First we ordered the fried calamari and shrimp. It was served with sauteed bell peppers and onion. The calamari had a very light coat of breading. I thought it was very good. It was served with two sauces, both a little spicy but good. I ordered the combination Phở for my dinner. It is a combination of rare steak, brisket and meatball. I found there to be more meatball than the other meats. My son had another version of the beef. Since he has been with me on our other Phở outings, he did comment that there was not the adventurous styles that included tripe, tendon, etc on the menu. I was surprised myself. Maybe you have to ask for it. The Phở was served with plenty of bean sprouts, thai basil, jalapeño and two sauces, sriracha and hoisen. The broth was very tasty. I felt it was better than the others I have had in the past. My husband had the Lemongrass Duck. This was his first Vietnamese outing. He enjoyed it. I of course had to taste it. It was very tasty and the duck was tender. We were so full so no dessert for us.

I’m never disappointed when I stop in for lunch. I was craving my seafood curry soup and my friend has never tried Vietnamese food before… If this is your try with Vietnamese food… Then this is your destination. You will become addicted just like I have. So gooood!

Only had the bubble tea, but pretty much had every flavor. And it’s delish. However the food does look delush, and the inside is modern, clean, and we’ll designed. the staff is always friendly and we’ll groomed. I enjoy talking with them while I wait for the bubble tea to go. But I never had the actual food. Maybe one day.

Ok so, I absolutely love this place. It’s a modern Vietnamese restaurant that has delicious food. I always get the phở and am never disappointed. I’m also so glad I found it because it’s right by my house and it’s actually the only Vietnamese restaurant that I know of in this area. The service is great. Everyone who works there is really nice and helpful. You get yummy addicting chips to start! not sure what they actually are but they’re good! They sell boba!!! Must try if you haven’t. I always get the taro flavor

They must have invested in a great grill when they bought and redecorated this place. The charbroiled pork on my bun was perfect! They didn’t have to over sugar it to get the char flavor and it wasn’t over done. Everything was very fresh and tasted very authentic. The shaking beef was good, not as good as other places I have had it but still very good. We ordered the combination app which was amazing! There was a fragrant lemon grass flavor to the calamari which was almost too much, but then it would be absent in the next bite equally it out perfectly. The spring rolls are huge and packed with beef and shrimp, which was a pleasant surprise, and the peanut sauce served with them was delightful. The use of fish sauce here was minimal, which is a good thing. Some Vietnamese places tend to over use the fish flavor and then over sugar to cover it back up, not here! This is the place for good phở and bun! The décor was light and bright, simple but elegant, not gaudy like some places. The prices were average 10 for bun, combo app 14 and 19 for the beef. The 15% off was a great bonus! Thanks Unilocal

Great shrimp, pork and sprout crêpe appetizer! It took about 20 minutes for them to make, but the sever warned us ahead of time. It actually came out after our dinner was served, but it was worth the wait. The outside of it was so crispy, it was delicious. Not sure what the delicious dipping sauce was, maybe fish sauce with lime or vinegar? The combination phở I had was also very flavorful. I wish I would’ve asked for more shriracha sauce but I was too busy eating. I was stuffed after eating half the bowl and half of the crêpe so I had plenty of food to take home.

biffles and i came here on a weeknight with a groupon. sat closer to the front of the restaurant which is located right on US1. parked in royal palm plaza close by. the dang free little shrimp air puff crackers are ridiculously addicting We decided to forego the phở this time and go for other dishes that enticed us on the menu. i got the dish with filet recommended by my boss who frequents here often and his wifey is vietnamese. i know homegirl got a dish with shrimps in it and vermicelli kinda noodles. service was friendly and nice, i also got a warm fuzzy feeling with the older than 80 yr old couple next to me trying out new things. so cute! i’d def be back to either this one or the one in LBTS as i believe you can never go wrong with vietnamese ! nom

I have read about this place but never got there until last week. It was great! For starters, they served shrimp chips which were my absolute favorite while growing up! I had the Chicken Phở and my friend had the Curry Phở. Delicious! My soup had a hint of sweetness, perfectly cooked chicken and sweet onions. I ended my meal with a coffee Bubble Tea — sooooo good! I’ll be back for sure!

The food was excellent. I had a grilled pork dish and others had Phở and different salads. Everything was very tasty. There was a slight cleanliness issue leading to me to deduct a star but it was quickly corrected. They also brought out our dishes at different times which I find annoying hence another star in the dumper. They are extremely friendly here.

Definitely five stars easy. This was my first time eating Vietnamese food and let me say it was a great experience. This is a small but very nice contemporary design. They took me back as a kid when they brought out the complimentary shrimp chips. They were fresh and very tasty without the strong fish flavor. The server was very very attentive and at no point did we have to wait on anything. He checked on us often but not to the point that it was annoying. The food where do I start. We had the shrimp wrapped in wonton wrapper with scallion. The other couple that was with us order the friend mussels app. Which is a big portion more than enough to share. I’m not a big mussels eater but they mussels were great and the sauce with sautéed onions and fried mint leave was insane. All the main courses were good and that’s saying it lightly. The food was outstanding and the portions were huge. I ate half of my dish and was more than satisfied. I will definitely be going back. Do not forget to check in to get 15% off.

Today was my second Basilic Vn experience, and it was consistently as great as my first visit(hence a 5 star review). To start, they bring shrimp chips: fluffy white wafers of deliciousness that dissolve in your mouth. Don’t be afraid to schmear a little bit of the lemon grass chili on these to spice things up! My husband and I attended a wedding last night, and maybe had one too many libations. our morning was a little rough, to say the least. When we sat down in the booth I noticed my husband had a look of pain in his eyes, but by the time he was done slurping up his broth he looked like a new man! He had the grilled chicken phở; he was absolutely impressed with the flavor of the broth, he added a little spice(keeping in mind that he’s a bit of a sissy when it comes to heat), and went to town. The chicken was tender, grilled to perfection, and the broth had a great grilled flavor. My husband isn’t normally a broth-drinking kind of guy, so you know it’s got to be good if he drank it all up! I ordered the curry chicken phở, you should know that I normally would never eat curry simply because I’m not a fan. This(yellow) curry. it’s like nothing I’ve ever tasted before! I subbed vermicelli for rice noodles, didn’t bother adding spice because I didn’t feel like it was necessary. The broth is so hearty and tasty, not too heavy, plenty of tender chicken slices, absolutely delicious! I had extra broth and sprouts left over so I asked for extra noodles to go, meal number 2 of this amazing soup! The restaurant had a clean, contemporary feel, plenty of table space, but I think the menus should be wiped down a little more frequently. The bowls are the perfect size for the price, in my opinion. DON’T FORGETTOCHECK-INFORYOUR15% DISCOUNT! The service was friendly, but our server had trouble keeping up with my water consumption– I’ll admit, I was pretty thirsty. WILL be back soon, p. s. they also have a location in Ft Lauderdale that is equally amazing.

Waking up in Boca Raton and craving Ph sounds like a recipe for disaster… Until I found Basilic Vietnamese Grill! There is apparently another highly regarded location Fort Lauderdale, and upon that recommendation, I set out with two friends! The Ph Gà was terrific! I am not a Ph expert, but I had some great Ph in Chicago, and this stood up against that example exceptionally well! My friends both had the Wok Tossed Noodles, one with beef and the other with tofu. Both were terrific, and could possibly have been two meals worth! They both got theirs with rice noodles, and the tofu eater was happy to know that the entire dish was vegetarian when made with tofu! The shrimp crisps that were served with the meals were crispy, light and delightful! I can’t wait to go back!
