Brazilian Docinhos

I went to a birthday party last year at my friend’s house, Gisele B., and they had these beautiful little truffles from Anna Lucia’s. It was my first time trying traditional desserts from Brazil, but I got instantly hooked! They’re bite-​sized so I tried one (maybe five haha) of each of the 6 or 7 different types. They were ridiculously delicious, and I could see it being a huge hit at parties. My friend then informed me that every party in Brazil has them, and I felt like Miss Cleo for instantly thinking that while she said it.
I called Anna Lucia to see what else they offered and they also make other kinds of desserts, like flans and cakes, which are great for dinner parties, or to take to a friend’s bbq, or any lavish event as well. I placed an order for the passion fruit mousse for my sister’s birthday party last weekend and it was probably the best passion fruit mousse I’ve ever had! I felt as though I could live in passion fruit haze the rest of my life and be perfectly fine. Anna was very sweet on the phone, and even offered to deliver the order to my house for a small fee. Desserts that I don’t have to move for are probably my biggest weakness, so I can’t help but be tempted to set up a delivery every day now. She also assured that everything is made from the best quality ingrediends which I could definitely tell when I tried everything. I urge you to place a call immediately if you’re a big dessert fiend like I am!
