Checkers Drive-In Restaurant

I am writing this review because I’m familiar with checkers menu and how the food is when cooked properly. I do not consider myself to be a racist howeve, I found the drive-​through was quite challenging and frustrating because the person taking my order could not understand the englishblanguage. I don’t know if they were lackadaisical and joking around by taking my order it was quite frustrating. I do not want anyone to lose their job and I know that as I’ve come to expect the professionalism when coming to a checkers that that was lacking here I give it two stars because I think it was fair they took my money and managed to not fulfill my order which was a complicated to them cause a big Buford with fries was too complicated for them to understand. Which led to the asking me several times do I want an apple pie when I said more than once no thank you

From time to time I will get a chili dog craving and stop by a Checkers. This particular Checkers location is nice and tranquil with plenty of covered seating. It is also very clean. It’s fast food and the value is great. Lg. tea for $ 1, 2 apple pies $ 1. How can you beat that? For the atmosphere, tranquility, and value this place is worth a stop.

I come here now and then when I have a late night fast food craving, but almost always regret it. The fries are often overcooked, and the burgers are greasy and asymmetrical (I’ll admit, I like to open them up and re-​align the bun and toppings, and spread the sauce evenly before I can eat it).
I’ve been to other locations that have delicious fries, but I’m not sure why the ones here often taste like they’ve been fried twice. On occasion, there were small errors in my order as well. Not the fastest service, but it seems like sometimes there’s only one or two people doing everything. I’ve had better experiences at other Checkers locations, but still pop into this one when I happen to be close by and need a junk food fix.

Worst checkers ever! Fries were OVER cooked and the burgers looked like they were made last WEEK! NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered the Bacon Philly Cheesesteak Sub & Fries for $ 5.08
The Steak was juicy, the Cheese was great and the Bacon was delicious.
The Fries were crispy with a great flavor.
A great Meal from this Drive Thru.

Big buford 2 for 5 sale is really worth it but too unhealthy in general and employees are rude. Fries are too salty.

Pretty decent… Like that they have twin drive thrus– cool idea, cuts on the wait time.
Tried the spicy chicken sandwich and it was alright.
Alternative to the regular MickyDs and BK… but nothing to write home about.

Decent drive thru (only) fast food joint, but I would not suggest eating here as there is no decent place to sit.
The burgers are pretty good, the french fries are excellent (super crisp and spicy), and even the prices are great.
They actually have dual drive thru windows, so I suggest picking the right sided location if you are driving solo as the left side will require a serious reach across your car just to reach to window.
