Clintmoore Animal Hospital & Pet Resort

We have been sending our nervous poodle to Clint Moore Animal Hospital and their Pet Boarding Resort for many years. Van and her team are extremely caring and attentive to her needs. Our poodle in the past would become very nervous and have issues after boarding but once introduced to Van & her team, the problems were over! You should give them a try at Clint Moore Animal Hospital & Pet Resort.

I would not take my pets anywhere else! The staff is friendly and really take the time to know you and your pet (s). The doctors are top knotch and Dr. Butzer has done an amazing job finding the perfect doctors to fill his staff. I highly recommend you take your pets to Clintmoore for the best experience for you and them!

This place is living nightmare for both pets and their owners from both a scheduling and treatment competency perspective:
1.Front desk staff is disorganized to the point where you’ll sit 30 or more minutes past your appointment time for a sick pet, and when you inquire as to «how much longer» you’ll find that the doctor is coming in 2 hours later than they scheduled you. Oops. (Actually you get «oops» plus attitude).
2. There are no processes that if a doctor changes their schedule, customers are notified accordingly in advance to reschedule. I was told «we can’t cross reference a doctors schedule changes with appointments. Oops.
3. There are no processes for instances of incomplete labwork for sick dogs either. they just don’t let you know to come back in or that more tests are needed. So unless you ASK for the test result, you won’t even find out that something went wrong. Oops
Should you leave/​bring your precious dog or cat there for an illness or boarding? Not unless you really dislike your pet and are willing to take a crap shoot with their lives (and your time).

I wouldn’t board my dogs anywhere else. The girls up front need to be commended for their patience and awareness to detail. They are so beyond sweet and really listen. I say this after hearing customers lash out at them each time I have to board my dogs. Staff here is fabulous and it makes me feel better knowing my babies are going to a place where they will be looked after and cared for. Thank you so much to all the ladies up front

Boarded our dog for 5 days. On third day, received a phone message to call vet. I called back and had to leave message as vet was busy. Waited and worried for over an hour for callback. When finally speaking with vet was told by vet that their techs had observed my dog coughing, so they had put her on antibiotics and cough suppressant for a respiratory infection. When we brought her home, she wouldn’t eat and vomited for two days from meds which she hated to take. Took her back two days later and they prescribed additional meds including something for her stomach. In the meantime we never saw her cough, so I took her for an exam to our regular vet and they determined she was fine! Her temperature was normal which wouldn’t be if she had an infection. Moral of this story: Ask questions about what tests and/​or exam was performed when they diagnose your dog with an illness.

Don’t know where to begin. Each visit continues to add more stress to our lives. My dog went in to get neutered and there was miscommunication between the vet and tech/​front desk and he went home with a soft cone where he was able to reach his incision. We noticed that the incision wasn’t looking good and we brought him in to be checked. The tech told us he was fine and put a hard cone on him. The next day the incision site was bleeding and looked infected so we had to go to the emergency room. The next day we took him back to Clint Moore and the vet told us he had an infection and needed to have surgery again. My dog had to be put under again to clean the incision from infection. (poor guy). This is just the start.
Front desk is so disorganized that I would call and be left on hold for twenty minutes until I had to hang up and recall just to get a hold of somebody to get an update on my dog. This happened multiple times. I then went in to complain and was laughed at rudely by the front desk.
To make this story even worse we went in to get the records for our dog and they recommended we get our dog a rabies vaccine. The problem is we had already done this. We had to let them know our dog’s history of shots because it obviously was not entered correctly into the system. This place is unprofessional, expensive and a danger to my pet. During our last visit we had similar conversations with multiple people in the waiting room. I would definitely suggest going to another vet.

One of the most wonderful group of veterinarians. I am obsessed with my yorkiepoo, Miley and I could never trust her with any other group. Dr. Sanchez is absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable and really cares. Will never go anywhere else ever.

My dog swallowed a rib bone whole… called their emergency line. no call back in 12 minutes like message said. called the next day to ask why they didn’t even call the next morning to see how my dog was… answer was «we left an emergency number on our answering machine but I don’t know why no one called you back today. I will see» never called back. Wow, sounds like they don’t really care about their patients… must be why they are so pricey too $ 24 nail clip… bait and switch at grooming… they just lost this client… And didn’t care

I have been taking my dog Leo to Clintmoore Animal Hospital and Pet resort for 8 years now! Leo loves going there, everyone is so nice, and the level of vet care is unsurpassed. Thank you Ryan, for caring and thanks to all the staff for being awesome! Highly recommended.

Don’t get your pet groomed here! We dropped our goldendoodle off for a groom. The instructions were «Cut off ½ inch off total body. We don’t want her to look like a poodle.» The groomer called to let us know she would have to cut more off her face due to mats. Well when we picked her up she was completely shaved to the skin and she looked like a poodle. She had random «bald» spots throughHer ears were crooked lengths. We went back on Monday to ask why things were shaved like this and the groomer remarked she was heavily matted. I told her next time to call us. We also asked for them to pluck the fur out of her ears. She had no idea what I was talking about. I have never gone to a groomer that just shaves the dog down and doesn’t attempt to dematify at all. Her fur did have some mats in it but by how she looked after you would think that she was lost in the forest for months. I would never ever take my dog to get groomed here again. The only reason i did was because another goldendoodle I saw in the neighborhood looked good and they referred me to this establishment. It was obvious this groomer didn’t have any formal training. Also thought it was interesting that when I called there wasn’t a manager I could speak to.

Dr Butzer is one of the most passionate Vets I have ever met. He truly loves every animal that comes into his facility and shows such affection and care for them. He has diagnosed an issue with one of my dogs that 3 other vets could not and my dog is doing great! Only issue I experienced as well as other friends of mine that bring their dogs here is waiting a while in the waiting area. Have patience though, it’s worth it to get the best care for your pet!
I also use this facility for boarding and grooming. They have always had availability and the staff is also very loving towards the animals. They have a huge piece of land in the back for the dogs to play and a pool for swimming. It is safe and my dogs seem happy when I bring them.
Great veterinarian and great grooming and boarding facility all in one!

I’ve taken my dogs here twice now; the first time I waited over an hour past the appointment time because Dr. Butzer was running behind. It wasn’t until I started walking towards my car that the staff told me he was finally in the room. He didn’t even apologize or anything. That said, he seems like a very nice person, so I decided to give the practice one more chance.
I brought my dogs back for lab work a month later as one has kidney disease and one has liver disease. It took a whole week to get a hold of the doctor to get the results (which only take one day). Every time I asked to speak to him, he was always in an emergency. In my opinion, this place has just bit off way more than it can chew– it’s just not the right vet if you want attentive, personalized care.

This vet really cares about their patients, my dog came back a happy & healthy camper! With both boarding and vet services I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my pet was in good hands.

This is my vet, my kennel, and my trainer. Clintmoore has just about any service you could possibly need for your animal including supplies and food. I drive past many many vets and pet stores and such to go to Clintmoore. The staff is caring and loves animals and develops a report with your animal. Going for training classes tonight with Danielle!

When I first arrived here I was a little overwhelmed at the volume of the place. Lots of dogs barking, people talking, etc. I had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment, which was a little frustrating, but I heard some people talking who were also waiting and it sounded like that type of wait was unusual. I brought my cat in because she was throwing up a lot. Dr. Foreman was very empathetic and understanding of my cat’s high stress level in the vet’s office. They sedated her in order to give her a check up and didn’t charge me for the sedation, which I really appreciated. My bill was very high, but they did give me multiple deductions from various procedures they did, so it could have been worse! Overall, I really enjoyed the Doctor’s demeanor and the quality of care given to my baby.

Yesterday my chiuahua started acting very disoriented and unbalanced. Clintmoore animal hospital got me in in the afternoon. We saw dr. Murray. She is a young woman that has Definitely found her calling in life. She took her time and did a thorough assessment while asking a lot of history questions. She is extremely knowledgeable and explained things in a way that was easy to understand! The thing that I found most amazing is that she did not rush to run a bunch of expensive tests. She provided a few oral medications which helped my dog improve with in hours. Everyother vet I have taken my dogs to ends up costing a small fortune even for something as simple as a stomach ache. I ended up with a bill that was less than a $ 100 .She called two times today to follow up and see if my dog was improvingI will NEVER take my dogs anywhere else! I have never been more impressed with a vet.

The best thing about this place is that they are open every day. I work 50 hours a week, I’m also in nursing school, i have a school age kid, and a family. It is very difficult to find time to take my dog to a vet. So when i called on a Sunday to see if they have their hours on their voicemail, i was surprised that someone picked up the phone. (I don’t know why they don’t just put their hours on their website) They were able to see me right away and my poor dog was treated for an ear infection.

Two years ago we adopted Louie from a shelter. We brought him here for a check up and to be neutered. Turns out Louie was a very sick dog. He had worms, a heart murmer and needed several teeth pulled. He was taken great care of by the staff here. Got rid of his worms, pulled his teeth and eventually was healthy enough to be neutered. Louie was around ten when we adopted him. unfortunately last weekend his heart murmer took a turn for the worse. He didnt make it this time but that was not due to the care he recieved here. Dr. Sanchez was great she treated louie as if he was her own dog.Dr. Butzer is a very caring person. When we are ready to adopt again we are sure that the first place we go with our new family member will be here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Butzer since 1986 and I trust him with my pets’ life completely! I find the vets and the staff there to be thoughtful and caring. They do NOT charge by the hour as suggested by another post here. Dr. Butzer spends as much time as necessary with EVERY patient. You may wait for your appointment, but rest assured that you will NOT be rushed out either… he will spend the same time with you to be sure that your pet is well taken care of and that you understand everything completely. I would never go anyplace else… EVER!

I brought my cat to another vet twice. That vet told me nothing was wrong with him. I wanted a second opinion, and a friend of mine recommended Dr. Butzer. I brought my cat to see the vet. Dr. Butzer sat on the floor with my little boy, and played with him. That was how he started the examination. He said there was something wrong, so they did blood work and x-​rays. My little boy was diagnosed with cancer. When Dr. Butzer came back in the room to tell me the bad news, he was very honest and kind with his words. I cried so hard, and thought I had only another month left with my little boy. After testing the type of cancer and stage, Dr. Butzer told me there was hope. He told me about the chemotherapy option for cats. He explained everything in detail. On February 25^th Dr. Butzer started chemotherapy on my little boy. The beginning was a little rough, but the staff helped really helped me through a lot. They told me stories about great things the Dr. did. One of them even got teary-​eyed with me when I was nervous to move forward with treatments. Four weeks later, my cat’s blood did not show signs of cancer and the mass in his stomach was gone. He is currently in remission. Dr. Butzer saved my Oliver’s life.
