I have been out and about antiquing and decided to end my day by stopping at Coconut Consignments. After they packed up the items I purchased I happened to see this reflexology spa out of the corner of my eye. I figured, «hey I’ve been walking all day… why not?» Wow. So glad I stopped. It helped me stop. The receptionist, Elle? Could see it on my face. I told her about my day, and she said she had just the person for me. Carolina was amazing. The price was almost unbelievable especially when I was given an aromatherapy option. When I got home and I was so relaxed. My husband was a little miffed about how much I spent at the antique store, but after that Swedish massage I had with Carolina, I could have cared less. Aaaahhhh.

I was a walk-in a few days ago but I was not able to get to the door because the owner was antagonizing three guys from the business next door. He had apparently blocked in all of their cars with his and refused to move it. The owner, a corpulent middle aged man by the name of Rony seems to have a quick temper and was pretty argumentative. Not exactly the ZEN relaxation I was looking for. Just up the road on Palmetto and 5th Ave is Reflexol Spa, a similarly appointed place with a quiet and tranquil environment. With all the options, I would suggest looking elsewhere. I can not speak to the quality of the reflexology because, as I said, I was unable to use their services.

My mother got a groupon for herself and I as a little gift since she was visiting. I was disappointed when I found out it was just for a foot massage but BOY, was I in for a treat. I NEVER knew a foot massage could be that amazing. It was a completely amazing and relaxing environment. First off, the front desk was extremely friendly and it was a nice location. You wouldn’t expect it because the intersection was loud, especially since they had construction going on at the time, but as soon as you walk-in, it feels immediately peaceful. I also really appreciated the design concept. The front desk associate told me that it’s called four elements because there are four different rooms that represent(you guessed it!) the four elements of air, water, fire and water. The element room we were in was completely dim and relaxing from start to finish and the two ladies who did our treatment were very attentive and let us relax but also made sure the pressure was good. They changed it accordingly when we asked for softer or lighter. It was so relaxing and so worth it — I’m pretty sure I dozed off at one point. I’ve never had a reflexology treatment for 60 minutes before so I have nothing to compare it to but I have had massages before and I’d prefer this foot treatment to those. They cleaned your feet and used hot towels and lavenders. It was absolutely wonderful and I would definitely go back at full price. I can’t wait to try an actual massage here if the foot massage was that great!
