I recently moved to the area and can’t tell you how much I loved my experience at Gloss Salon. I had been going to the same person for quite some time and when I moved decided to try a few different Salon’s out. I tried all the upscale Salons in downtown Boca Raton thinking they would be a great fit, however I left with Over processed hair, horrible cuts, and a broken bank account. Finally, I was recommended to Gloss Salon where I heard all the girls were very equally talented. In speaking to the receptionist, she scheduled me an appointment with Amanda and let me tell you… AMANDA far EXCEEDED my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the receptionist and hairstylist were very welcoming and friendly! In going to a salon, I usually have some idea of what I like, but ultimately I would like a professional opinion and allow the Stylist to do what they know best. I went in with mousy dirty blonde hair thinking I would walk out with blonde highlights and maybe a trim. Instead I walked out better than ever expecting. Amanda gave me a warm brown undertone with natural sunkissed ombré highlights that matched my skin tone perfectly. It was beyond natural and I haven’t stopped getting compliments from friends, family, and co workers. I traditionally do not have a stylish cut, but she shaped my hair, cut side bangs, and trimmed the broken ends. It was great! So great, my coworker called the next day, and scheduled an appointment with Amanda as well! She had a flawless and fun experience too! Thank you Amanda for making both our experiences lots of fun and giving us a reborn confidence at a very affordable price! Can’t wait to come back!

Loved my haircut by Maria! She pays close attention to detail and listens to exactly what you’re looking for!

I have been checking out salons in Boca and this was a great salon. I had Becky for partial highlights and she did an awesome job. My son got a haircut w Maria and she did great as well.

Came in for a hair cut and blow dry. Felt something was wrong when the woman cutting my hair was fumbling too often with the comb and the scissors and the dryer. The hair cut was okay but after the blow dry, I felt my hair and it felt so coarse, dry and tangled. Not sure if it’s the product but even after the blow dry the hair was tangled! I have no idea how that could ever be! Also she was tugging on my hair and pulling it unevenly which is a horrible sensation, if you know what I mean. I had never had a worse blow dry in my life either. There was no shine or bounce after the styling. There was no touch up cutting after the blow dry either. I forgot her name and was too upset while leaving to ask again. First ever bad experience with a blow dry! Please avoid the place and don’t get fooled by the 5 stars

Maria is the BEST when it comes to color and curly hair! She knows her reds! She is a warm, engaging person who takes her time to really understand what the client hopes to achieve in terms of a look. She really gives 100% effort into every cut/​color and she genuinely cares about her clients. I highly recommend Maria!

I went to Gloss this morning. I booked an appointment after reading Unilocal reviews. Shelly did an amazing job with color and highlights! I will be going back! She made my previously blah hair look beautiful! I’m a new mom and had not had my hair done since my son was born. It was a mess! She is a miracle worker! Thanks Shelly!

Dror (the young, dynamic & über efficient owner) was so fantastic I need to tell the world! He fit me in last minute, as a Groupon customer from out of town, in desperate need to look presentable for an event after a grueling red-​eye flight from California.
He touched up my highlights (making them look better than ever) and took his time with an anxious customer while still ensuring I’d be able to make my event on time. I am very thankful & beyond pleased with the service I was given by him & his fabulous staff. Thank you, Gloss!

As you know, moving to a new area and finding a new hair stylist is not easy.
I am extremely lucky to have found Jeff. He is so talented. Does it all — color, styling — everything… and does it all VERY well. His expertise and professionalism are tops in the field; his personality and welcoming style, a real pleasure.
Gloss Salon is a wonderful place. The people there love their work and love working together and it shows.

I was looking for a great hairstylist for a few years in Florida since I had moved from California. The search is over! Amanda is GREAT. I have thick, course, and wavy hair – not a good combo in Florida. Amanda’s consultation was so helpful and the haircut was perfect. I can actually run my fingers through my hair now and I got several compliments after I walked out of the salon. Amanda is super talented and so eager to share any tips to help you maintain your hair healthy and beautiful. She’s just amazing.

Maria is awesome! Went to her for a cut and highlights and loved what she did. I got a lot of compliments after my first visit. I have a lot of long curly hair and it’s not easy to find someone who knows what to do with it. I can tell she knows a lot about color, my hair ended up exactly how I wanted it. I definitely recommend asking for Maria.

So, this is my experience. I live super close and my boyfriend is the one that first told me to give it a try. I normally go to any old place and then I am normally disappointed never to return. Well honestly that is part my fault because I go to the cheapest place because it is more important to me to save. Ok, I had gotten there a little late. Thankfully Drod was there. He is the owner or one of the owner. I knocked, he saw me. He let me in I talked to him briefly about what I thought of my hair now (it was dead) and what direction I wanted to go (healthy). He was very nice and I REALLY liked his personality. I asked to set a consultation and he said ‘Ok well I can give you one now.” I was surprised! During the consult I told him that I wanted to go short because of the damage I had. He told me that we can keep it longer if I wanted too. He said that from what he saw it was not all damaged and maybe only 3 inches would have to be cut off. Ok, so after I booked the appointment with him for 1pm the following week. On the way out he gave me a conditioner for my hair. I was so excited and happy.
OK so its a week later, I go in super excited. I check in at the desk and they said he would be there any minute. I waited and then as I waited I got really nervous. The woman at the desk called him. After a couple minutes she told me that he had an emergency and would not be able to make it. I understood but then got even more nervous. The woman at the desk told me that I had the option of leaving or meeting another stylist for another consult. That if I did not click with the new one that it was no pressure. I met with her, I told her what I wanted, and she was excited when I told her I wanted short. A+ for me. I showed her some pictures and we understood each other.
I got 6 inches cut off. My before was long hair but really no style. My after was an A line bob that I am in love with. It is the shortest I have ever been and I have no regrets. Becky is the best, she made it easy for me. Becky has been cutting hair at gloss for 8 year (you are in good hands). She showed me some products to use when styling and how to curl my new hair with a flat iron (I wear my hair straight everyday) I thought that the visit was timely and the salon was very clean. Everyone there that day was really nice. I am happy that it happened the way it did. The owner is great but Becky saved the day. I will be going back! Becky Thank you again!

Ask for Jeff, he is absolutely AMAZING!!! People stop to ask me who does my hair constantly. He is absolutely the best hairdresser I have ever had!!!

If I could give Jeff A. AT GLOSS SALON 10 OUT OF 5 STARS I would. I do not write reviews but he is definitely a diamond in the rough here in Florida that everyone should know about. I came to Jeff 2 years ago after relocating from out of state and was anxiously searching for a new salon. I was nervous due to having very thick, long, dark hair that I know can be overwhelming to some stylists. Unfortunately in the Boca area I tried several high-​end salons (most of which I found through Unilocal with other reviewers) and NONE worked out very well. I found them to be overpriced, and definitely overrated even when booking with the owners themselves. Then after reading other reviews I tried Jeff. HE IS AMAZING!!! I came in for FREE CONSULTATION because I knew coloring would take a lot of time and wanted to let him decide what he needed to do. Right away I was comfortable and he was not the least bit intimidated by my mane. I wish I had better before and after photos because Jeff took my hair from a naturally dark brown almost black, to a light caramel with blonde highlights that is too die for. I was looking for someone who could cut hair well and he can. Someone who was not over priced and he has always been very fair. Someone who could give me a similar color to Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, and Jessica Alba and he did. I get compliments WEEKLY on my hair and it is something that really makes me feel good about myself. Not to mention he is the nicest person you will ever meet, and will never ever rush through an appointment. He always takes his time to make sure the job is done right. The salon and staff are great as well, I have been going for over 2 years now and I am beyond satisfied. GO SEE HIM YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

I got my ombré done by Amanda and absolutely love it. She took my dark hair and ombré from an orange-​y brown to a beautiful honey blonde. All the stylists in the salon are truly very talented. Amanda, Becky, Jeff, Shelly, Maria, and Lori are all amazing with cutting, styling, and coloring. The owner, Dror (who obviously does amazing hair as well!) really picked his team well. I would let anyone work on my hair here.

WOW! This place is amazing!!! I had been having a hard time finding a hair stylist in Boca, as they were all either inexperienced or experienced and way over priced. I decided to try Gloss after I read the reviews and checked their prices. I ended up with Maria, and boy, I’m glad I did! She is incredible! She listened to my requests and delivered a flawless haircut and color gloss. It ended up being exactly what I wanted! Not only did I get what I wanted, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time talking to Maria. She is very personable and easy to talk to.
Overall, my experience at Gloss Salon was fantastic. I am very satisfied with the results and the price. I will be coming back for years to come. :)

I don’t write reviews at all but, I had my hair done by Shelly and for a few days I was thinking man my experience at the salon was great but Shelly elevated the experience to a level that I have to say that she is for sure the only person I want to get my hair done by. I am extremely happy with the cut and style and for a guy it’s great to get a complement about your cut and say thanks. I got it done by Shelly at gloss.

I was recommended to Gloss and Lori by Bauman Hair Restoration. Wow! What a find. Having very thin, fine hair, I have always found it difficult to find someone to color and cut my hair where I don’t walk out looking 30 years older! I can’t say enough about Lori and her expertise. She takes her time, discusses all her suggestions in detail and won’t allow you to leave unless you are pleased. The salon is very well maintained and the boutique is super with many unusual items. Dror, one of the owners has been especially helpful as well. Highly recommend.

Today was my first time at gloss, they booked me with MARIA and I couldn’t have been any happier. Maria was very personable, and very detailed. She colored and cut my hair really short (over 10inches) and did such an amazing job. She really took her time with my cut and went in multiple times to perfect it. I will be back to see her again :)
