I always donate here because its a charity that cares about people with disabilities. Large variety of donated items for pennies basically.

When it comes to non-apparel, some of the items at this location are outrageously overpriced. e.g. $ 49.95 for a CD holder shaped as a guitar? $ 20-$ 30 for framed pictures? This is Goodwill, not Saks 5th Avenue. We come here for bargains, not to pay full retail price. They need to be continually reminded that all of their items are donated for free, so why do they continue to engage in price-gouging? Price has to be relative to the item itself. When you confront the staff with this simple fact, they take offense. To make matters worse, they now have a new bad habit of asking you — the buyer — if you would like to round off the purchase total. ie. $ 7.98 would become $ 8.00 upon your say so. IOW, they want more money donated? Better the two cents in my pocket! LOL!

Being a frugalista from all, this Goodwill is always on my go-to list when I go back to Boca. Located almost at the end of Palmetto Park Rd in a questionable strip mall, I like to think this is a hidden gem… or the Boca-ites are just too pretentious to shop there. They have a tag of the day which is usually 50% off plus offer a huge selection of sweaters, shoes, dresses, kids clothes, books and knick knacks. I like to shop here for sweaters since there is always an abundance of them from the Northerners who move down south and if I can get an Express sweater or a 100% wool sweater for under $ 4, I’m a happy gal. Last visit, I got something like eight sweaters, a few tops, some books and a few pairs of shoes all for under $ 35. So cmon – what are you waiting for? Check out this Goodwill!
