I was looking for a place to eat and we came across this place. When I walked in the place was empty which usually isn’t a good sign but it was an odd time. The people inside were nice and explained how everything worked. It is awesome how you can add as many salads and toppings to your sandwich.

This place is tucked into a corner and easy to miss. I work at the mall and I’ve only been here twice. Both times myself and my lunch partner were the only ones in the restaurant. Yesterday I went in between 4 and 5PM and the guy working there was asleep and obviously the only one duty. We woke him and he completed our order but they obviously are having trouble with staffing… The food was tasty but this was an awkward experience to say the least as he was also pretty irritable. They should have two people staffing this restaurant at all times no doubt. Also kind of weird to report but the air in there was blasting cold and our napkins were actually blowing around if we didn’t anchor with our drinks. We even tried switching tables so it wasn’t just that one. They have industrial sort of AC. The first time I went here my experience was great. The gentleman was happy to explain the process of ordering and what each item was. The food tastes good but the guy working yesterday said the time we were in there was the time he was supposed to be napping between this job and his next one. They need to hire another person to cover shifts.

Horrible experience. The kid behind the counter had an attitude, the gyro meat was cold and there were flies attacking my food as I ate inside. I wont be back here again.

This place is like the chipotle of pita sandwiches. Choose from a pita, wrap, or salad, great concept, in that you feel more engaged in making the meal, and if you want to lay-off the heavy carbs you get all the yummy taste in a salad format. Also, there are some interesting and delicious varieties of sauces to choose from. I went with the lamb and a very very nice spicy jalapeño sauce instead of the typical garlicky tazique sauce. Great choice, and plenty of well seasoned and moist juicy meat in the most softest and tender pita. Fresh tomatoes and crunchy lettuce shredded included, more options for the more bold, but as a first timer and wanted to get closer to the original intent of the Greek ideal. The staff was fast, friendly and well knowledgeable during the busy lunch crush. Good looking clientele makes me want to stick around and dine in next time. But takeaway was quick, decent pricing and good parking, both in front and behind the shop. Overall the business park they are located in is a bit hidden, but worth looking for it. A place I will definitely return to in the near future.

Stopped by for lunch yesterday. Wasn’t in the mood for a sandwich so I went with a salad topped with gyro meat. The place is called Gyroville so I assumed they would be all about freshly sliced, sizzling hot, somewhat crispy gyro meat. But for some reason they decided to bypass that deliciousness and take the meat out of a steam pan. Obviously, after sitting in a steam pan for God knows how long, the gyro texture was soft and soggy. Pretty disappointed. Can’t say eating mushy, steamed gyros is a favorite pastime of mine.

This place is my go to. They have a lot of options to create your favorite dish. The service is awesome everyone is very friendly and there is never a wait. They are very consistant. The only reason I gove 4 stars is because the food is americanized and doesnt have the full authenticity of greek food.

I was craving good Greek and luckily I came to the right place! The gyros are amazing! I got the pita with gyro meat, chickpeas, onions, lettuce, spicy tzatziki, regular tzatziki, and fries!!! Best lunch I’ve had in a while. I work at the mall and the good court can get very unappealing, this was perfect!

This place is slop and the fact that anyone would find this healthy is humourous. I ordered a salad with chicken, chick peas and cucumbers which was basically the only toppings available. The chicken tasted like rubber and it was mixed in with ice berg lettuce that was halfway spoiled and slimey. It was absolutely awful and I paid $ 22 for this salad with my fiancé ’ s «gyro» and fries. They claim this place is like chipotle… so I guess my expectations were a little too high. I asked if I could have something else since I could not eat the salad. They made me a wrap with fried falafel, cucumbers tzatziki and hummus. The wrap tasted much better but definitely not a «healthy» option. I will definitely stick to chipotle next time.

Craving a gyro? This place will surely hit the spot. I agree with others who have reviewed this restaurant; it is like the Subway/Chipotle of Mediterranean food. I love places with an open kitchen so this place was right up my alley. I had a veggie pita with chickpeas and my husband had a traditional gyro. Tatziki sauce was comparable to any other Greek restaurant. I also tried the spicy feta sauce and medichuri — each had a great flavor and complimented the sandwich and the fries nicely! The rice wasn’t worth it unless you’re ordering a rice bowl — it’s just plain rice, no seasoning or anything; and the spinach pie was a decent add on to our meal. Overall, causal atmosphere, helpful staff, and we are adding it to our weekly rotation for dinner :) we enjoyed it as much as we do Tijuana Flats and we eat at that place religiously every Monday :)

Friendly and helpful staff. There are three large flat screens when you walk in that display the entire menu. However, there are also paper(leaflet) menus to read for those not wanting to strain their neck looking up at the screens(intended exaggeration… it’s really not that bad). In any case, the menu options are there. The staff was very friendly and was aware of the Unilocal check in offer. On more than one occasion, I have checked in somewhere and showed the Unilocal offer, and the employee had no prior knowledge of it. I enjoy the Greek fast food options that Gyroville has to offer.

Food was okay, had to ask about 15 times for the Unilocal«free small hummus & pita» with check in and when I asked the man making our food said«oh we don’t do that anymore» when there was a sign inside the store that clearly displayed it. Tried to make lots of jokes, entertaining for about 2 minutes and got old very quickly. Only two people in the store and it still took about 15 minutes to get our food.

This place is a great speedy choice for Mediterranean food. There are lots of veggie options, falafel being the best. You can get salads, wraps or pita. Then they have several sauces and toppings(subway style). Very causal quick stop. Really great lunch or take out option.

I really like Gyroville! I work across the street so it is a office favorite for lunch. There was a point a year or two ago where I had their Greek salad with chicken for lunch at least 2 – 3 times a week LOL! They are located in a big strip of businesses surrounded by other restaurants but you will always see gyroville busy and with a line but its worth the wait. The food is fresh and the guys that work behind the counter are super nice and always go heavy handed on the extra toppings which I really appreciate. Basically its a chipotle version of Mediterranean/Greek food. You pick what you want, salad, pita, wrap, etc. then you pick a protein(Falafel, Gyro, Chicken, meatballs or Mahi) and they fill it with a TON of fresh toppings at no extra charge! They also have wrapped grape leaves, spinach pie, and really delicious hummus that I love. When you check in with Unilocal you get a FREE small pita and hummus as a side and I ALWAYS make sure to get it. The hummus has a garlic flavor to it that I really enjoy. I have had most of the items on the menu and I have always enjoyed the food. I do tend to stick with the chicken or falafel on a salad and it comes with a stuffed grape leave. The last visit I was there the owner gave me and a coworker $ 5 off coupons just because he sees us in there all the time and he is a super nice guy. The restaurant is always clean, including the bathrooms and all of the staff wears those plastic gloves when they make your food. Its a perfect place for a quick and healthy lunch(if you stay away from the gyro that is lol).

Fast, fresh ingredients and soft pita that isn’t stale makes these sandwiches and salads perfect for lunch. They make a variety of sauces fresh that provide a lot of zip and tang. A restaurant is more than its menu though and this place is run by young men passionate about good food. They rock and that makes this a place worthy of a drop in for lunch, Elites…

I love ordering my Zeus pita here. The Zeus is like a deluxe meat-lovers pita that has every kind of meat on the menu, and you’re able to customize the toppings to your liking. The quality of food here is quite good. The only downside is I load my sandwich up with so much crap that it gets pretty messy while I try to eat it. It’s not a bad problem to have, really. The staff here are always really nice. The last time I was here, they offered to let me try a new kind of beef that they were unveiling at no charge. I look forward to having that included in my Zeus pitas in the future! Pro tip: If you sign their little guestbook, they send you regular deals by email — stuff like $ 5 gyros, etc.

I was craving gyro and pita and saw that this between the mall and my work. I figured trying something new is good for me. The place is set up like a psuedo-fast food place. You watch them make it and tell them what you want. It’s nothing fancy, or even really decorated. They seem to go for a college crowd, but the location seems to be at a weird place for that. It’s fairly inexpensive so that’s good. Service is weird. The guy barely wanted to check us out or give us drinks. We had our food before we paid, and it almost seemed like we weren’t supposed to pay yet with how much they left us there after we got the food. It was weird. That’s all. The food is good — nothing spectacular. Decent gyro meat, soft pita, pretty good tzatziki. The hummus is weird — more like a hummus sauce than hummus — it’s really watery. It would be OK on a sandwich, but not so good on its own. A pretty decent place if you are looking for fast and cheap and are nearby, stop in! But with other similar/better options around, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here.

I came here with a friend for lunch and I was impressed with how clean and fresh everything seemed. I ordered the Aphrodite wrap(falafel hummus veggies tossed in a Greek dressing) and for checking in with Unilocal I got a free small hummus and pita. I was so hungry it took a couple bites to realize how salty the wrap was. I couldn’t tell in my wrap if it was the Greek dressing or hummus and my pallet was all saltified. When my friend tried the hummus I got confirmation. It was that. I will come here again but I would get something else without hummus. Which is a shame as it’s one of my favorite things.
