Prices don’t match what’s online for prices and I was informed it wasn’t their problem

Food was mediocre. Service was mediocre. But what put me out the most was the gross and dirty walls, light switches in the wall to and in the restrooms. Stained ceiling from roof leaks, mold growing on outside of freezer/refrigerator storage door. Saw this after we ate our meal. Nasty gross

We tried Hashi based on it having good reviews here on Unilocal. We’d like to save the next customers from a similar experience, we were absolutely unimpressed. Service was slow and food was bland. Lunch menu was very vague about ingredients.

Eh… that’s the best word for the food. Just… eh. Sushi didn’t taste too fresh, was baseline mediocre if that. Not very memorable and absolutely nothing about this place begs you to come back for more. Skip this and try another place… you won’t miss much.

The best thing about this restaurant is the customer service. My girlfriend ordered a starter salad for ~$ 6, but what came out what enough to feed a hamster. I asked the manager if we could send it back, and she graciously accepted it. Then she asked if we wanted something to replace it, so my girlfriend opted for the miso soup. Then the waiter asked us if we’d like another salad with a different dressing, noting that it was on the house. The salad she brought us was a GREAT size, and the(peanut) dressing was decent. When we got the bill, we weren’t charged for the miso soup or any of the salads. That was an awesome gesture! On another note, the sushi was not that great. The rice had no flavor, and the rolls were slightly smaller than average for«specialty rolls.» I probably wouldn’t come back because of the food, but the staff were extremely nice and considerate!

I have been here before… I really enjoyed this place. Last night not so much… I think the prices are great and portions decent. Last night I ordered sushi instead of Thai for the first time and that was a bad move. Average BASIC sub par fast food sushi… If you are craving sushi do not head here… Not to mention I think we had a new server… My friend ordered an app and so did I. My friends app came and we waited for mine which did not come till after we received our meals. I cancelled my app which appeared to take them by surprise. I also asked for the miso soup my sushi deluxe came with which also came after the entrees arrived… Maybe just an off off night…

I ordered shrimp tempura roll for take out. Although the lady in the front was very friendly, the food wasn’t that great. The shrimp was not cooked at all, the fried outer part of the shrimp was squishy, and the rice was mushy from not being cooked. I ended up eating two rolls and throwing the rest away. Won’t be going back here.

The best Thai food in Boca Raton!!! It is always fresh, not too hot, unless you request it, and wonderful tastes!!! If you get the whole dinner it’s so reasonable and each course is heavenly!!! It’s a family owned business, and they’re all so polite, and professional!!! I just love going there !!! And, they have great sushi!!!

My favorite sushi place in the west Boca area. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Though I’ve only ordered take out, it has always been great, wether it’s sushi or a hot plate. I’ve even ordered sushi boats for private parties at my home, and they’ve always impressed guests with how fresh everything is!

Appearance: They are located behind a Walgreens. So park behind the Walgreens and walk over. The owners are Thai but just like most of the Thai restaurants in Florida they also serve sushi. As you walk in you see a very clean and typical Thai restaurant. Service is their number one priority as you are seated before the door closes behind you. The service: Staff here is making sure you have everything you want and your drink will never be half full even during the lunch rush. The food: I love Thai food. I had the chicken curry lunch special with a Thai coffee and a salad. Thai coffee has to be strong, sweet and delicious. This Thai coffee reminds me of the same formula and brand that my wife’s grandma(she is Laos) uses. So thumbs up on that. The attention to detail is second to none. Even with the free water they gave me a little twisted up heart coiled around the straw. The rice was pressed into a flower, jasmine rice of course. And the spring roll was perfectly crunchy and not oily. Will I come back here. Duh…

Surprisingly good! The décor leaves something to be desired but true foodies know that often a hole-in-the-wall beats uppity ambiance any day. I had the combination Shrimp Panang Curry with vegetable soup and a spring roll. I ordered the curry spicier and it was excellent. The vegetable soup was fresh and light, the spring roll was nice and hot and crispy, and the Panang Curry was spicy and rich with the perfect ratio of shrimp, noodles, sauce and veggies. The rice came in a cute heart shape — sort of a sweet touch on our date. I would definitely go back!

Small family run restaurant. Very friendly service and beautiful food presentation. Conveniently located if you’re going to see a movie at Shadowood theater. Fresh sushi and a large selection of Thai, Chinese and Japanese food. Flavorful without being too hot & spicy.

Tried the pad Thai and it was really good. Can’t wait to go back for sushi after the baby comes.

We spend winters in the west Boca area and are regulars at Hashi Thai and Sushi. We have never had a bad meal. We have gone with friends who were equally pleased. My husband sticks with the Pad Thai dinner special which he gives high marks. Tonight I had the spicey lemongrass seafood soup. A bit sharp but chock full of seafood with a strong lemongrass flavor and subtle hints of cilantro. Very tasty. Also ordered basil pork in which they substituted broccoli for green pepper at my request. Enjoyed it immensely. The staff is always accommodating. It is a family run operation with Mom managing the dining room ably assisted by her son and daughter who we have watched grow up over the years. Gotta say I would love to redecorate the dining room. A bit dingy but clean and comfortable. In sum, this is a down-to-earth, unBoca restaurant with very good Thai food and fresh sushi. It enjoys a loyal following and that speaks volumes.

This place was really just okay. Food-wise, we were happy. The sushi rolls were on point. I had a spider roll, and it was big and crunchy and glorious. The sake was good as well. The food is what got the rating so high. This place is located in a strip mall, and it’s dirty. My allergies went wild in this here. I don’t know if it’s dust or mold or mildew, but whatever it is, I spent the whole meal sneezing and blowing my nose. Lastly, the service was crap. The sushi chef was nice, but the waitresses and waiters were the worst. Probably never coming back here because there are too many sushi options for this crap!

This place is fine if you’re just looking to satisfy your Thai food or sushi craving. The menu is very large, and the lunch specials are vast. They offer lunch specials 7 days per week that end up being a pretty good deal in terms of volume of food, but plan on spending $ 10-$ 12/person even if choosing a special. While the sushi was as expected, the service was quite slow, yet my husband and I were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. That seemed odd. Nevertheless, if I’m in this strip mall again and craving sushi, I’ll pop in!
