Owner is super friendly and loves my daughter and her teacher miss Colleen is the best :) clean and my daughter learns a lot

The teachers and director are the best part of Kiddie Academy. With teachers that are so caring and loving with your children such as Mrs. Colleen and Mrs. Anne my son never wants to miss a day of school and even when I pick him up it is difficult for him to leave as he loves it there. The director, Mrs. Zelda, is also very caring and always listens to everything the parents say and ask for. Just excellent customer service throughout. In terms of education, my son had learned to count up to 30 in both English and Spanish by the time he was three which was so impressive. He is even taught both English and Spanish at school and every week comes home telling me what he has learned that week. Two weeks ago he kept pointing at big and small items and explaining to me how they were opposites and that’s just one of many. I am a very proud parent when I tell others about the school he goes to.

This place is a sad excuse for child care, and they certainly don’t care. My child was left unattended several times instead of be included in groups. He was having a hard time adjusting and the teachers didn’t mind just leaving him alone (who does that with a toddler?!?). The owner is a piece of work. I don’t think she ever told me a single piece of true information. Clearly more concerned with revenue than child care. I also had an issue with staffing shortages, kids being moved around to meet «quotas» rather than just making sure there were enough adults. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear from several parents who pulled their children out until after I had my kids in here. This place needs someone running it who actually cares about kids. Shame on them!

Picked up my child without notice and he was completely soiled in a not-​so-​fresh pee. The child to adult ratio is completely off. Zeida Garcia and her ignorant husband do nothing but lie every time they open their mouths. Completely removed us from the system without notice when we brought up financial difficulty, even though we already paid. Then, they refused us a refund, citing corporate policy (yet another lie because corporate told me it was at the discretion of each franchise). Teachers at the facility have even told us they get mistreated all the time. Seriously reconsider this place. We had our first child her for over a year seemingly with no issues, but it has completely turned a wrong corner this time. I have filed a complaint with DCF. That’s how serious this is. If you choose them despite this review, I strongly recommend you make as many surprise visits as possible. Things may appear okay on the surface, but there are some serious issues with this place…

As a parent, finding a daycare is one of the hardest things we have to do for our children. Leaving our child (re) in the hands of someone else while we are at work isn’t always an easy thing to do. However, since the first day I contacted Kiddie Academy, I felt as though I found the perfect fit for our family. The staff is wonderful, loving and patient. Every question/​concern I have ever had has always been addressed with complete professionalism as well as a loving response. As a first time parent, this is very important to me.
My son has been at Kiddie Academy since he was three-​months-​old and I am still very pleased a year+ later. When we pull-​up to the daycare in the morning he shows signs of excitement before we walk in the door, I love that feeling!
If you are looking for a loving, safe place for you child, Kiddie Academy is a great find!

My 2 years olds loves going to school. Teachers and owners are great people. They really care about your kid. The camera access is definivaly a plus and you can see your kid whenever you want. I would 100% recommend Kiddy Academy to other parents.

I have my daughter in the toddler room at kiddie academy. The teachers are amazing, and the owners are great as well. The curriculum is exactly what I expect. Unlike other schools that my daughter went to, there isn’t always a constant stream of new staff members. So the staff knows the kids, and likewise, the kids know the staff. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy to other parents.

The teachers for the 2 year old class are unhappy and aren’t able to keep up with fast paced kids.

At first I loved the daycare. My son began here at 5 months old. He was exclusively breastfed and refused bottles. I would go over to nurse him every 2 hours. My first issue with the management was being told not to nurse in their facility. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I brushed it off and obeyed by nursing my son in my hot car for the following few months. In their infant room they allow the parents to bring food from home. This was great because my son eats a strict natural food and organic diet. When he turned one they threatened to take away my right to bring my son’s food from home with their reason being «We don’t supervise the children closely enough to ensure another child won’t eat what you bring» –Zeida (owner). Willing to admit you bluntly aren’t watching small children while they are eating food… This made me incredibly uncomfortable as it would any parent. After reviewing the nutritional values listed on the food they feed the kids I decided to ask my pediatrician what to do. CORN SYRUP was the first ingredient listed in their apple sauce (which is routinely fed to infants as young as 4 months, disgusting) The doctor agreed with my position and wrote a letter to the daycare without question. They finally agreed to allow me to bring his food from home. Upon his first day in the toddler room I dropped him off around 8:30am with a sippy cup of water, 2 snacks and lunch. I get a call at around 2pm from Michelle in management that my son was fussy and I didn’t bring food for him that day. OUTRAGED I rushed over to the daycare to find his lunch exactly where it was supposed to be, on his name assigned shelf. So you mean to tell me you didn’t feed or hydrate my one year old child from 8:30am until 2:00pm, THAT IS 5.5 hours, in normal routine that is 1 snack and lunch that the other kids would have eaten within that time. The absolute last straw with this HORRIBLE management… On December 12^th I notified the Zeida (owner) and Michelle (her assistant) that my son would be attending late on Friday and the following Monday. I attempted to drop him off on Monday at 11:30am only to be told that they didn’t have enough teachers for me to drop him off and that I had to have him there by 8:00am. In turn I missed work. Firstly why wasn’t in mentioned when I was telling them he would be late and secondly WHAT DID I PAY $ 260 A WEEK FOR? At this point I gave them my 2-​week written notice that I would be looking for another daycare. I attempted to drop him off the following day since by contract I must pay for the following 2 weeks. Only to find that they locked me out of their keypad system. I wasn’t able to drop my son off and there was NO management at the facility to correct the issue. The teachers who were on duty recommended I not leave him there causing me to miss work yet again. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE management. These are only half of the incidents I’ve had with them. DO NOT trust them with your pride and joy. The management simply just doesn’t care about your children’s health or wellbeing.

My daughter has attended kiddie academy now for going on 5months. She is in the infant room and Miss Karen and Miss Katie are amazing! They are truly engaged with her developmental stages and assist us with helping her grow and reach her milestones. I don’t worry about leaving her here as they treat her like she is their own child. They sometimes tell me things that I didn’t realize my daughter may be doing.
The management is great as well and very helpful in many ways. They are always nice and greet us everyday by name. Fyi they also have a webcam! What a plus.
We plan to have another child in the near future and woudl not hesitate to have that bundle of joy at Kiddie Academy. It truly is a school and not a daycare center!
