Fantastic. They take pride in their work. They treat their guests like the Four Seasons. You would be lucky to get a reservation here. Fernanda runs the hotel. I’m a soon to be practicing attorney and would hire her in a second. She is on it and does not forget a thing. I am so impressed with the Ocean Lodge.

We are staying here for five days with our toddler. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities. The room was clean and kept clean throughout our stay. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. We loved the pool and the nearby ocean(across the street). The hotel has a room full of sand toys, beach balls, floats, kick boards, towels, and umbrellas to use. The continental breakfast was great. Fruit, bagels, muffins, Danish, and coffee and yogurts. Perfect way to start the day. The location was great too. Highly recommend this most affordable, high quality hotel.

A small hotel in a great location. Across the street from the beach and in walking distance to Boca restaurants, a golf course and other outdoor activities. The pool area is peaceful. The water is heated and the pool is very clean. The manager, Fernanda Menezes is wonderful and always has a smile. She runs the place very smoothly and tries to meet all guest requests.

I stayed here in March 2015. I absolutely loved my stay here. I went with two girlfriends and the hotel was perfect for a low key girls getaway. Our room had a small kitchenette which was perfect to reheat leftover takeout and prep our mimosas! The hotel is walking distance from the beach and has a great, quite pool area. The staff was friendly as well! I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quick beach getaway.

First I will say the bedding and linens were clean and fresh. However, I feel like I was deceived on Trip Advisor by the photos that were posted and the description of the facilities. This place is not immediately across the road from the beach. There is beach access about 500 ft away. You can not see the beach or water anywhere from this motel. The facility is an old 60’s style motel with a courtyard pool. The room was clean but the air freshener used was overpowering and not pleasant to my sinuses. The furniture was older and the sofa was well used. The front desk help was very friendly however, insisted on charging me another $ 10.00 above the inclusive price prepaid on Trip Advisor. The morning coffee was good but the rest of the breakfast items were prepacked stuff from the local convenience store. I was lured by the price and the photos but in retrospect I was expecting much better.

Not very clean. Pool chairs need replaceing. Air conditioning unit was out when we arrived and was partially installed. On our last day the desk clerk brought her family over with all the kids to enjoy the pool and disturb everyone else staying at the motel. I d

The Lodge is located within walking distance of South Beach Park and Red Reef Park. A short cab ride gets you to fantastic dinning and night life. The Lodge has potential however it is not well maintained. First thing I noticed when approaching the room was that I could see through the closed vertical blinds into my room. The second thing I noticed was the poorly repaired water damage on the ceiling, walls and windowsill. The bathroom walls, door, floor and toilet were filthy. I found long black hairs on the toilet, in the shower, on the bathroom floor and on the pillows(my wife’s hair is red). Either the cleaning lady needs to wear a hair net or the previous guest left me presents. The shower ceiling is peeling and the shower curtain rod was being held up with a folded piece of paper. The horizontal blinds on the north side of the room block little light from the adjacent parking lot lights. The front window blinds were broken and the mechanism did not work. The window faces the pool. The pool and common area is lit all of the time so your room is lit day and night. We did not see any bedbugs however my wife swears she has bites. The breakfast you have to share with the squirrels was not worth staying for. A few hundred dollars per room and a good cleaning would go a long way.

Just a great little spot with an international flair. It’s literally a 3 minute walk to the beach, the people are really nice, it’s squeaky clean. Totally recommended.

This place is so misleading! It’s nothing like their website at all. Yes it’s by the beach but on the other side of the rode. Your window view is of either trees or bushes. Their rooms are nice however it gives off that shady motel feeling. Service was basically nonexistent. I only stayed a night and I never want to leave so bad before. I couldn’t get any sleep due to the fact the bed was infested with bed bugs. I was constantly itchy and felt like something was crawling on me. Never staying here ever again.

I booked four rooms for my family for between Christmas and New Year’s. A week before our stay my sister had to cancel because of health concerns for her 6 month old twins. I tried to call the hotel using the number listed on Expedia but either got a fax machine or a busy signal. I finally looked up the number on the hotel web site, called, and was told I needed to call Expedia to cancel. Turns out the cancellation policy was 7 days, which had by then passed. It’s a busy time of year and the hotel was fully booked during our entire stay, but they were totally unwilling to refund a single dime, and neither they nor Expedia was in the least bit apologetic about having the wrong phone number on their web site. I guess the rules are the rules, but the next time I spend $ 2000 on hotel rooms in Boca Raton it won’t be here. This is a shame, because especially for the price it’s a lovely place. The heated pool was clean and the deck chairs and whole pool area were fantastic. The outdoor seating area where breakfast was served was cute(even though it was a bit cold for breakfast outside one morning, and there is no indoor option). The parking was sometimes tight but never a problem for us. The rooms were clean and large, and the small kitchens were just fine. I wouldn’t try to cook a full meal in them, but if you’re traveling with kids and need to keep things in the fridge and put together lunches they were totally adequate. The sheets and towels were nicer than expected at a two star hotel, although the mattresses and pillows weren’t great. The location is good. A 5-minute walk to the beach and to Gumbo Limbo nature preserve, which we really enjoyed. Not much else in walking distance but lots within easy driving distance. The new manager, Israel, was a really nice, competent guy although he seems to be the only person on duty and his office hours are limited. Again, though, for the money, we weren’t expecting lots of service. I wish he or Expedia had been more accommodating about our cancellation because other than that issue it was a really nice experience.
