Horrible both times we ordered delivery. Worst pizza we have ever had. The sauce tastes like bad tomato paste from a can. Had to throw it out. Second time we ordered 2 flavor a of wings. Their wings are so breaded and not good. The pasta salad we ordered came with the wrong pasta and 3 small pieces of chicken and no mozzarella as ordered. Expensive $ 48.00! Will never order again. If you go there to eat, it is filthy and service is bad.

Stopped in last night to order sandwiches for take out — BIGMISTAKE. When you walk in there is no clear path into the place so you have to weave in and out of the occupied tables. Then there is no way of telling who works here and who does not. After standing around and asking a few people who looked like they might have worked there they told us to go to the bar to order. It was in another room in the back. Again who works here and who does not? We stood there waiting to be acknowledged to place and order. There were 2 people behind the bar having a unfriendly conversation and then finally one of them took our order(reluctantly). He reviewed our order, rang it up, processed my credit card payment and placed the order. We waited. And waited. And waited. When the person who took our order(someone called him Jeremy) passed by I asked for the status and he said it would be coming. After that it seemed he avoided us and we waited some more. We did not see a lot of activity coming out of the kitchen maybe a pizza and an order for someone at the bar that came in well after we did. I went over to the person behind the bar and asked him about our order and he went towards the kitchen saying its coming and Christmas is coming too. Really? After close to an hour for our order which only consisted of 4 sandwiches arrived. No apology, no explanation no trying to make up for the situation at all. There seemed to be a lot of people working there but no one actually doing any work or being overly concerned whether the customers were being taken care of or if their food was being delivered in a reasonably timely manner. When my credit card was processed I included a $ 5 tip which I will NEVER do up front again not knowing the quality of service that will be provided. I would never reward bad service and feel ripped off, so MYTIP is to anyone reading this who may for some unknown reason patron this establishment — don’t include the tip unless it is deserved with good service. Maybe that will make the employees and/or owners care a little more. BTW while waiting at the bar we were subjected to what they call«entertainment». There was a little stage by the bar and they had a self identified comedian named Amy. She was terrible, it appeared the only people who applauded were family members. Seems like she just flew in from the Catskills with a 40 year old routine. The guy after her was equally as bad and rude but thank goodness I wasn’t subjected to his entire routine. They must pay them in meatballs. Here is my advice from experience– don’t go. There are lot of dining options in the area that would be grateful for your business.

I used to go there when chef Andy was the owner and now moved back to FL and stopped in to see Talia’s to find out Andy is no longer there. Too bad. Here is my review on the place: Dirty. One waiter on a Friday night and another in shorts trying to help. We waited forever to get the waiter to the table. Just have another one on and that would of solved the delays. Ordered the pizza was decent although dough tasted frozen, seafood risotto– flavor bland and rice overcooked and lobster and ravioli– tasted store bought. I bought some at BJ’s that were stuffed more. overall ok but again the place looked messy and had the feeling of the chicken without the head syndrome. Ask for the bill and prices we higher than what was on the menu’s. I say menu’s because there were two different menu’s with two different prices and then the actual price was higher than all. Get new menu’s or just change them on the board to reflect correct price. Also clean up the place, first impressions are huge in Boca, and I was not impressed at all.

We used to come here for warm sandwiches and we came back today to revisit since we had a big appetite. The lady behind the counter was so rude and impolite

No idea why this place has good reviews. I recently tried this place based on all the great reviews. I went with my girlfriend for dinner in an attempt to find new places nearby. She had the penne vodka and I had the white linguini and clams. The food was fair at best, the service was lacking, and the place is very dirty.

Feels like I’m back up north. Service is informal, but good. Good wings(although the flavors are not consistent day-to-day). Pizza is also pretty good. Pasta portions are(Italian) huge.

This place is awful. We had to wait an hour after ordering our food. Then, when they brought it out it was a gigantic plate of slop. I ordered the Shrimp Parmigiana, and it was fried shrimp with a glob of Parmesan in the middle. The sauce was watery as hell. There was also broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots(frozen medley that I have bought before from Costco) mixed in to the pasta. I had to buy bottled water because they«don’t serve regular water» when the waiter/I’m guessing owner came over to ask why we didn’t eat our meals I told him it wasn’t very good and he responded with«oh»…that was it. I’ve never reviewed anything before but felt I needed to sign up to let people know.

Used to me awesome, must be new owners. I ordered a sandwich I have had many times before, this was the first time the used a microwave. The chicken was dry and mushy, and cheese, well microwave to get it melted. Then as I take my food some tall guy walks in on the phone, says something to the kitchen staff, walks into the kitchen, puts his phone away and reaches into the make line to make a salad for himself. Disgusting, I won’t be back

I think 1 star for a place like Talia’s is more than fair. Service: Horrible. They seem more concerned helping any friend or family member get situated before you. A party of 5 came through the door after me and my friends came in, and they were instantly seated and given bread and drinks. Meanwhile, no waiter even asked us what we wanted to drink, nor did we have menus. When asked what we wanted to drink, I asked for water, and the guy told me I could buy bottled water or nothing. Are you KIDDING me? I’ve never been to a restaurant that prohibits complimentary water. Not to mention after we got the meal, the waiter or whoever the hell he was never checked up on us once. He opted to stare at his phone or talk to the party of 5 the entire time, and would not stop laughing and bringing them drinks. Which sucked because he 1. brought out our dishes one by one and 2. he didn’t give us silverware, so we had to yell at him from across the restaurant for silverware. My boyfriend got his dish 10 minutes before me. He wasn’t very nice either. Food: Nothing special. I could make better pasta at my own house. I had the gluten free penne ala vodka pasta(I was told their GF options were good) and the whole dish tasted like one note, and definitely not vodka sauce. The calamari’s sauce was spicy as hell, not a good compliment at all. The portion sizes are huge but I get the feeling everything is just warmed up in the kitchen before hand and not made to order, as I had full view of the kitchen and the guy stood around doing a whole lot of nothing. Also, they advertise a buffet but I didn’t see it and when asked the guy laughed at me and said only on ‘certain days’. How about you advertise what those days are, or don’t say you’re also a buffet? Just avoid this place. There’s literally dozens of Italian restaurants in Boca. There’s also one called your kitchen, where with chef internet recipe, you can go buy your own groceries and make a better pasta dish.

This is my place. Whenever I get pizza for the office and it’s my call I go with Talia’s. Yesterday we were due for pizza so we got 4 pies from here. I will have to say that when we went to pickup the pizzas they weren’t ready. Really not ready. We had ordered on a very popular day. There was a dozen other people waiting for their orders. It took over an hour wait. So how could I swear by Talia’s? Once we got into their supreme, each and every person forgave the wait. I’m sure the beers we got helped calm the masses too. Wow, incredible. From the peppers, to the Italian sliced sausage, to the pepperoni to the chunks of fresh mushrooms, every slice was savory. The boxes were empty in record time. It’s the best New York slice you can get in this part of south Florida. Don’t let the wait irritate you from stopping in

Very unpleasant experience on a Saturday night. The proprietor seems annoyed instead of welcoming. We went there specifically for pizza and was told it was not an option. We switched gears and ordered meals. They brought me out chicken marsala, but I had ordered chicken francese. Instead if apologizing, they acted like I had a problem. They brought out the correct dish, but it was completely cold. My friends salad was also not correct, and she felt chastised instead of accommodated. We won’t be back. What happened to the hospitality of a small business?

If I could give this«business»(and I use the term business very loosely) zero stars I would. Called this restaurant and ordered two chicken parm entrees and two salads. I was told to pick it up after 20 minutes. When I arrived 30 minutes later I was told the food would be ready within 5 minutes. After five minutes I saw my food being prepped to be cooked. So obviously they hadn’t even started cooking my meal. After 15 minutes waiting I told the cashier that he could’ve just told me an error had occurred instead of wasting my time and lying to me. He then blamed the owner for taking the order and not giving it to him. Obviously there is zero communication or skill here after 16 years, as the owner later screamed at me. The restaurant is absolutely FILTHY. The menus look-at minimal, ten years old. There were no other take-out orders or phone calls. One drunken customer sat there helping himself to whatever old/flat/cheap draft beer they have that’s «self serve» I asked to speak to the owner and I finally saw the issue. A morbidly obese miserable old man who knows nothing other than how to eat his profits. Which I doubt there’s much left of. I expressed my frustration to this huge man who then FOLLOWED me to my car, screaming about how much he «hates Boca and this is why» As a 22 year old female at 130lbs and 5 feet tall– I do not appreciate a huge old man following me to my car and screaming at me. I should have called the police but I could not get away from this dump fast enough.

First time attending this restaurant, and I had to wait 45 minutes until my pizza came out. Once it did it wasn’t even that good. Extremely disappointed by the lack of good service, sanitation conditions and overall quality of the food. Would not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

From the exterior, this place isn’t super appealing. I really wanted to like it because it seems like a place with a family-type of atmosphere. While I was there, the person running the counter came out several times to sit with a table full of what seemed like his family or close friends. Definitely a warm vibe going on. Ordered the«Chopino» for 2. I’m used to cioppino being more like a seafood stew, and I like dipping crusty bread into the broth. However, the dish that came out seemed more like a mixed rice dish. It was still good, but just unexpected. The garlic bread was overdone, and had a strong raw garlic flavor on top. Dessert cannolis were good, but small. It was a decent dinner, but I don’t think we’ll come here again to dine it. It seems like a convenient place for takeout, however.

Not recommended if you have children. Went there tonight with a family of 9 … What a horrific experience. No kids menu. Asked for the buffet which is advertised on a huge banner outside. We were told it wasn’t available tonight only on select days. We ordered off very dirty and outdated menu’s. They brought out the kids food first which was a simple pasta dish, sauce, and meatballs. Then we waited what seemed like an eternity as we feasted on burnt heavily loaded garlic bread. They brought the rest of our food out one by one. When asked why it took the food so long to come out, we were informed that it was cooked to order fresh, and if we wanted fast food. We should’ve went to McDonalds. Talk about RUDE! We would’ve been better off going to McDonalds. The bathroom was a disgusting, smelly pit of a facility. The kicker was watching three employees proceed out of Talia’s and start arguing out in the parking lot. An older gentleman in a blue shirt and shorts kept yelling about being called a piece of Sh! t … Talk about a hostile Environment, especially with kids around. We will not be returning here and can not recommend this to anyone.

Totally Awesome the place is a sleeper, Dont pass it up because its old school pizza restaurant looking. The best part is the FOOD not to menchon to low prices for a Boca Rayon Restaurant. Snapper franchise was fresh and delicious. The mussels fra diavolo were spot on .The Silly lady who forgot why she was there [ The Food ] was all hung up on the atmosphere. Please go somewhere else and pay 3 to 4 times ad much and not get the authentic Italian specialties. YOUCANTEATTHEWALLCOVERINGSANDCHANDLER’S. HERLOSS CANTWAITTOGOBACK

Not the same anymore. Yes, Talia’s is known for the sandwiches which are very good. The bread is something to really showcase and brag about. However, its their ingredients in their sandwiches that worry me. Everything is already precooked and then reheated for their warm sandwiches. Sometimes the hot sandwiches are great, other days it seems that I am eating meatballs /sausage from 3 days ago. Their cold cuts are not bad as those are cut fresh when you order, but then again you have no idea how old that meat really is either. I would never eat their pizza here as I think it’s terrible but their pasta is not bad either as long as it’s fresh and not reheated fro the fridge. Absolutely one of the best dives for an nontraditional italian sandwich, but now it seems like a hit or miss.

Not bad. They have a $ 10AYCE lunch buffet that is super fast, so if you are in a time crunch this is a great spot for lunch. It’s a little ghetto and definitely on the ‘family style side’: paper plates, Styrofoam bowls, and grab your own silverware but it had a lot of choices on it. Choices included Eggplant Tapenade, their amazing garlic rolls, gardenia salad, caesar salad, Italian salad, sliced salami, baked ziti, sausage and peppers, homemade meatballs, homemade soup(which was very good but I have no idea what to call it), and some veggies. We were in and out in 30 mins which was great.
