Still it is fantastic food adventure, the one in Fort Lauderdale is now closed, I also went to the one in Sherman Oaks, California and enjoyed that one too, it is a food experience not a dinner. The staff is very friendly and very caring. Enjoy everything on the menu, I rally enjoyed the dessert.

We decided to go out for a special dinner and dessert last night to a place that was intimate and relaxing. From the time we walked in, and greeted by the pleasant hostess Tara, to the time we left, we had an incredible dining experience. The staff is friendly and the food is incredible. The restaurant is clean, the dining is very intimate and private, and the different courses were delicious! Would recommend this place for a special engagement or if you just want to have a special night out.

Me and my boyfriend had date night the other night and we had a «100 dollar experience». Jenn was amazingly funny and definitely got us to buy drinks and purchase more food. From making my boyfriend(a new customer) feel exceptionally welcomed to us having great food, drinks and service we will definitely be back. She was great at keeping the table clean, refreshing our drinks and always maintaining a smile on her face. The hostess was very welcoming and even offered to move us if it was too loud(which she didn’t have to). The manager on duty even held the door for us on our way out and checked on us throughout the meal– the staff was amazing at their job all around. Thanks for the amazing date night! 10 – 10 would recommend.

Best experience here! Me and my boyfriend came here tonight for our anniversary. The staff was amazing. We made a reservation, were about 10 minutes early and were immediately seated. They asked if we were celebrating anything and when we told them we were, they gave us a handwritten card wishing us a happy anniversary & also took a great picture for us and framed it. The food was AMAZING. Keegan, our waiter, was awesome– I suggest you request him. We never had to ask once for a drink, he always kept us filled and made the experience perfect. He even made us a cheese that was retired from the menu that we expressed we wanted. What put it really on the top. At the end we had a Unilocal coupon and they immediately honored it without any hesitation and with a smile. Thank you Melting Pot for a great anniversary dinner, we’ll be back!

This place has really become an huge hit across America. But out of the many I have been to this is the best one of them all so far. This one is by far the most comfortable and romantic I have seen. I love the way the booths are more personal then other melting pots I have been to. This one also has a great area for larger groups upstairs. If you are in the area and looking for a romantic personal dinner this is one of the few I would recommend.

Come here about once a year and always enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the service. The tables are setup nicely for two fondue pots which makes it convenient for parts of 6 or more too. There are smaller tables for smaller parties. Some tables are kind of secluded which could make for a more intimate dinner setting for a date night. During my last visit for my daughter’s birthday I was happy to learn there is a child size that is not listed on the menu and is far cheaper than the regular meal price. This was met with mixed emotion for me, because I was never told this all of the other times we came here. But was happy this time since there were 4 kids eating, and saved me a ton of money. As you can tell the food here isn’t cheap. When I come here I am prepared to timed my own cooking of food. I bring a watch to use for timing as well as use my phone timer. That way we can cook different types of food with different cooking times. It would be fantastic if they included a timer on each table to ease the burden on the people trying to cook the food. It is always a fun time here and think it should be called FUNdue. Each time I leave here I find that I spent more money that I thought I would and the dinner took longer than I thought as well. The quality of the food is good and the dinner takes a while, so that is why the cost is high I would assume. The good news, is that since it takes so long to cook the food, I feel like I end up eating less that I would if I was at another restaurant just shoving food in my face. Put timers on the table, reduce the cost and I will be here more often(and give another star).

First time here and it was excellent. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday. We both have never been here before but we loved it and will be coming back. The manager Brian came by our table twice and he was very friendly. Lawrence our sever really made our experience here great. He explained everything to us and was just overall awesome. We got the four course meal for 2 and everything was great from the Brie fondue to the smores fondue. This is definitely something everyone has to try at least once. We also had the A Touch of Romance package. It was more than expected. Rose petals on the table a private both with a curtain. And a vase of 3 roses that we got to take home as well as a photo. We will definitely be coming back soon and demanding Lawrence as our server.

In advance– please forgive me Danielle for waiting to tell the world about what a lovely experience I had with my mom at this restaurant !(Danielle was our server) ok for starters thank you melting pot for providing us Unilocalers the chance to snag a deal and redeem our certificates from your event you hosted! Mom has never fondued, and I was a mere beginner to all the delicious varieties that were provided, HOWEVER I recalled what I did enjoy from months ago and with a call ahead to reserve dinner for two and ASK if the special and certificates could be combined, managers happily stated it in fact could be! I will not so much speak on my experience, but my mother’s because her reaction and giddiness through the meal made it so memorable. We started with the Quarto Formajio, excuse me if I spelled that wrong but this was a white wine blend with mozzarella cheese and ohhhhhhhh did we love it so so much! I ordered a California salad and I ordered the Capri, both are sweet and tangy, the California has a crunchy kick with the pecans and the Capri has the tang of the cheese they use, both are delicious and a win. Moving forward through the main meal we decided to keep it simple with the broth and went with the standard choice,(upgrade charges for other blends with more zing) my favorite has to go with steak and cream cheese sauce(chunky one) or tai(yellow sauce) my mother took her sweet time with the shrimp and lighter cream sauce(tint of purple) forgive me for not having the correct flavor! But you make it your own by playing and tasting a little bit of everything :) and dessert… My oh my was Danielle not aware of our sweet tooth! We had two servings and I regret none of it! We decided on the dark chocolate raspberry, and my mouth still waters at the thought of it! Service here is incredible– from walking in the front door you are greeted and the manager for the evening circled through to check in on us(she recalled meeting me from the event). It being my mother’s first time experiencing such a meal I was delighted by the friendliness and attention given by staff in checking on how her experience was going. Food was incredible and our check for the evening. was unbeatable! Check out their website and Facebook for special offers and splurge when you crave fondue! You will not regret it. Also if you ask for Danielle or Andrea they will be amazing :) enjoying a meal like this with mom created a memory and the experience of her trying something new brought a great deal of happiness to me. What can be better than cheese, chocolate and wine!!! NOTHING… Well with the exception of Ryan Gosling having cheese, chocolate and wine with me hehe This was my first time coming to this location after a Unilocal event, and I loved everything about it. Everytime a Unilocal event takes place at a restaurant, I can’t help but wonder if the people working at that place are genuinely that nice or if they are just playing a part because of the event, but I realize that is completely untrue with this restaurant. Every single employee is cordial and attentive from the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave. For this occasion I went with a friend on a girl’s date and we had a marvelous time! I can’t not remember the name of our waitress, but she was nothing more than pure honey… She took her time to explain to us what the specials of the night were, as well as the different kinds of cheeses they had to offer. We proceed to get a bottle of wine and our waitress immediately brought it out to us and closed the curtain in our booth for added privacy, which was pretty unexpected but awesome. Minutes after, the waitress came to our table to make her magic in the form of cheese. We got the 4 cheese fondue and it was everything we were looking for, and while the apples dipped in the cheese were pretty delish, the bread was the dipping winner of the night. As if a bowl of cheese fondue was not enough, we then proceed to order a dark chocolate fondue with all the respective dipping elements like fruit, marshmallow, cookie dough, pound cake and brownies. It was at that point my belly was humming praises to the gods of chocolate because of how good the fondue was. We kept drinking out wine until the bottle was empty, our bellies were full and our smiles were big. We overall had a phenomenal time at this location, and it is pretty safe to say we will be coming back for more goodness.

Made a reservation for our anniversary dinner and asked for quietest table avail away from bar and door. Well, got there and the only available table was-you guessed it– right on the corner of the door and bar :(we were told it would be at least 45 min for a different table so we took it anyway. Love and behold it was right next to a baby shower group with a bunch more people then on their reservation so they were standing in the aisles, raucous and kept bumping into my husband and I inside our booth. Our server was great, even trying to shoot the people away. Food was ok, not as good as I remember but plentiful. Getting the extra cheesecake etc at dessert really wasn’t worth it. Overall disappointed for our 200 $ evening.

So the service here is good and the whole fondue experience is fun but… 1) The fondue is not bad tasting but I always feel like there are better tasting meals to be had. 2) It’s not a great value if you consider the food only. Granted this is more of an experience than most meals but for a nice meal, I’m more concerned with taste than an experience. 3) I feel like fondue in general is a gimmick. At the end of the day, if once in a while, you like a more involved meal, with pleasant service and for a «special» experience, sure… but I’ll wait until someone else gets the idea to come here, and maybe then.

This was my first time back since attending an official Unilocal event here! Wow, seriously mind blowing. Besides the amazing food, they have some of the best staff members. I had the pleasure of speaking to the GM Bill before coming in. He was very kind and helpful. At the actual restaurant, I met a manager named Brian. Let’s just say, I would totally be his friend. Really cool laid back guy that made sure we were taken care of! Our waiter, Matt, was a fun and attentive guy without hovering over us every ten minutes. Overall a really great experience for a party of 4. Having had their cheese fondue, main course and dessert already, I was least looking forward to the salad part. Like come on — can we just skip that? To my surprise, their house salad was hands down the best salad I’ve ever had. Must try. Didn’t know we could get refills on the food during the cheese and dessert part. Incredible food. Already planning my next trip back.

This is a must go to restaurant in Boca Raton it’s great for special occasions or just to go out with a few friends and have fun. You get to dip and cook your own food the service is excellent and the food is amazing. We had the four course meal started with the cheese fondue to dip your veggies and breads into then you get a salad and we had a combo of meats chicken shrimp fillet mignon and teriyaki sirloin. Then comes dessert chocolate fondue you get to dip marshmallows bananas brownies and a whole bunch more there is plenty of food to eat so take your time have fun and enjoy.

You can’t get much better than this. This was one of the most wonderful dining experiences I’ve had in ages. It’s not just the food(which was incredible) but the whole endeavor. We started with drinks(okay, Coke for me, but they have a bar with a very competent bartender named Matt) followed by the cheese fondue. It’s all done on your table and the forks are color coded so you’ll know yours from the other people at your table. The cheese was a blend of various types served with bread, fruit and vegetables for dipping. It’s a gooey, delicious sensation. And something so unusual that this alone would be worth making the trip. But wait, there’s more. Next came the California Salad. Greens, walnuts, raspberry vinaigrette and a taste like nothing you’ve ever experienced. I could have had this alone as my meal. It was out of this world. Then came the entrée. We had the sampler, so various cubes of meat, all done bite size were placed on our table. The cheese was removed and a broth was now bubbling away in the bowl, to which were added mushrooms, potatoes and sweet potatoes. She explained the cooking time of the various meats and we began. It only takes a few minutes to cook but it was incredibly delicious. We barely had room but somehow we managed to get down the chocolate lava cake fondue for dessert. Mushrooms, raspberries, strawberries, bananas, pineapple and rice treats were all cubed for our dipping pleasure. I will definitely be back. This place is way too good not to go again.

Service beyond excellent, fun food, great experience with old friends or for making new ones. My first time doing the fondue thing… Crazy right? Was worried I would hate it, but it was really fun, communal and enjoyable. Read up on the food and service method… What I really appreciated was the option to draw the curtains to enjoy the group at our table and not be distracted by others. Creating that sense of security with those you share some bread and cheese with was enlightening and turns a dining out experience to a dining in experience.

I used to believe the Melting Pot was really just a special occasion type of place. I couldn’t understand going more than once a year. But now I’m a regular, to the point where I even request a specific waiter. How did this happen? For a very long time, I was of the belief that you had to order four courses. I just cannot eat that much food. So imagine my surprise when I figured out that wasn’t the case at all! You can literally come here for cheese and chocolate if you want. Add in their insanely delicious strawberry caprese salad, and that’s exactly what I do now. This was a game-changing realization. Every once in a while, I’ll still split an entrée, but it’s so much food for one person! My mom and I have a tradition of going out for dinner on Friday nights. So when we come here, we always ask for Lawrence. He is AWESOME. Such a friendly, enthusiastic guy! Once, when we ordered the dark chocolate fondue for dessert, he overheard my mom and I pseudo-arguing over the fact we always have to get dark chocolate for her, yet I never get to try the s’mores one(she refuses to eat milk chocolate… no, not even on my birthday. Know what else I’m not allowed to order? The cheddar cheese fondue. We always get Alpine… which is great, don’t get me wrong, but I’d like to try another one every once in a while). So what did Lawrence do? Brought out two pots of fondue… one with dark chocolate, and one with s’mores! And even more impressive, he’s remembered ever since. On our last visit, he brought the dark chocolate out with a little ramekin of the s’mores on the side for me. Since we have to park in the handicapped parking in the very back of the building(this place was retrofitted for ADA compliance, so the spots are nowhere near the restaurant), Lawrence insists on walking us out to our car since it’s rather deserted back there. How sweet is that? It’s no wonder he’s an incredibly popular server here. If you come here for a special occasion(they’ll ask when you make the reservation), they will have a card waiting for you, and they’ll take a picture as well and print it out for you to take home. My mom recently spent two weeks in the hospital, including the day after her birthday, which is when I had made a reservation here. So I brought her here the other night for a belated birthday dinner, and she had such a big smile on her face when they gave her the card! It’s relatively simple, but little touches like this that make me love the place all the more.

The service I received was EXCELLENT. My waiter took great care of me. One of the managers even stopped by to make sure everything was ok. I started with the signature salad. It is iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and cheese and a hard boiled egg. The dressing was a sweet mustard. The dressing was addicting. I thought the salad was small for the $ 6 charge. I had the loaded baked potato cheese. It comes with scallions, small red potatoes, cheese, cream cheese, and bacon bits. You get to dip white/brown breads, veggies, and green apples in it. I chose the turtle chocolate dessert. I opted for dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. It is then combined with candied pecans and caramel. You get to dip rice Krispy treats, marshmallows, brownie, blonde, strawberry and bananas in it. They give you a spoon so you make sure you use all the chocolate!!! I made sure the bowl was clean:) Each booth is very private. The bar is small with only 4 chairs. There is plenty of parking in the attached parking lot. YOUMUSTMAKERESERVATIONS. This place is BUSY every night of the week.

If you are looking for a unique dining experience, and like fondue, this is your place to go! First things first… We started off with a drink at the bar while waiting for our table to be ready. Bartender was super friendly and very quick– good service. For food, we had the house salad– pretty ordinary, but the house dressing is what makes the salad! Also had the strawberry caprese(I think that’s the name?) and it was great! We had the cheddar fondue and loved it. For the entrée I had the duck, filet, and tuna. I wouldn’t say the entrée is exactly five star material– but we enjoyed it and the experience :). Last, we had the yin yang dessert which comes with a plate of little desserts and some fruit to dip it in. Loved the presentation of the chocolate, and that you could have both white, dark and milk chocolate in one pot! It was very delicious. We had great service throughout the evening! Andrea was our server and she was able to provide us with excellent recommendations of what to order. Overall, the cheese and dessert are what make the meal. sooo delicious! Also, the experience. Great customer service!
