Love this place, clean great service and beautiful presentation. I am now a raving fan of the green macha latte.

Stopped in to get coffee on the way to driving my daughter to work. The Worst service ever. Waiting for a café americano for 10 minutes and I asked the barista how much longer it would be. I needed to get my daughter to work. She looked at me and said well I have all these tickets. The funny part of this is there were 3 people in the entire place. However as I watched her move at a snails pace for the 10 minutes I had been there-while she was engaged in a conversation with a fellow employee-making the coffee appeared more of an inconvenience than her actual job. I asked for a refund and left. I can’t imagine how long it takes if they were actually busy. I will be driving right by this place in the future.

Place is great. Breath of fresh air from places like starbucks. Bright and airy and excellent coffee. Very inviting to just relax and chill or bring in your laptop or read a book. Went around lunchtime on a weekday so it can get a little hard to find a seat. Boca needed a spot like this

Good, not amazing. Nice vibe in a hip strip center with manic training next door. I think the slow brewed coffee and maybe the food should be tried. The mocha was nothing special, but not terrible. I used a Unilocal check in and that made it affordable.

Can’t say enough good things about The Seed — they have the best coffee and vibe in Boca. The smoothies and açai bowls are incredible and the staff is very helpful and welcoming. I had some questions about the protein powder they used and they were more than willing to share their knowledge with me. Perfect place to grab a cup of joe! Love it.

This was my first time trying this place out and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. The latte was smooth and delicious. I also picked up a sea salt chocolate chip cookie(meant to order a loaf cake slice but I’m glad I made a mistake lol). The cookie had the perfect texture! Also, I loved the ambiance, very chill and relaxed… great spot to get some work done or just grab coffee with a friend.

This place is amazing! I intended on just bopping in after yoga class for a juice(What’s Up Beaches is fab btw), however I ended up staying for a few hours just sitting outside catching up on some work. The barista was so kind and made sure to keep checking on me, and even made me the best Latte ever. Winter Spice surprise. The atmosphere was chill and inviting. I loved the décor and everything was very clean. I love coffee and was totally sold on this place! The food looked amazing too! Check it out! and if there is a really cute Guy barista, tell him I sent you! ;)

My Catchphrase When Getting Coffee: «See(d) You Later!» SITREP What a marvelous cup o’ coffee to enjoy in the lovely hamlet of Boca Raton! THESETUP I have to give mad mad props to my lovely twinsie Jennifer S. for introducing me to this fine java establishment! We always get excited about getting our coffee treats here! * Jennifer: «Michelangelo! Did you want to see(d) about getting some coffee? * Me: Oh man! I can see(d) the light of java-nitro goodness coming! And did you see(d) ^ what we did there? :D THECOFFEE! Oh my goodness! Such a delicious arsenal of coffee to slay me with! * There’s their regular Latte: * And then over there, there’s their Bear Latte they’re known for there: * But for an afternoon of posting while working, I also love their „Cold-Brewed-Nitro!“($ 4.50) TREATS! Yet from my pics, you can see(d) there’s more than just beverages — there’s the treats too! * My Whoopie Creampie is pretty amazing looking as you can see(d), AND it was even more amazing tasting! FEELINGATHOME But one feels a certain sense of …“serendipity» as well, when while relaxing, there are some books about«yours truly» laying about, as you can see(d). :D But not just about me — also on the Seed-reading list, I happened to glance about and catch a book about our awesome Unilocal BPB Community Manager as well: So who says lightning doesn’t strike twice in one spot, eh? THELOWDOWN The Seed makes fantastic coffee and promotes a very chill, relaxing vibe to enjoy your java and sugar-treats in, as you can see(d). ;)

I had the cold brewed iced coffee($ 4.50). Honey had a double espresso($ 6!). Nice staff. Pretty spot. So… the coffee. They roast their beans on site — which they get 4 stars for. I’d say the missing star is the choice of coffee bean. The cold brew is really bitter. So was the espresso. The iced coffee was just that, chilled, unsweetened coffee that was almost vinegary. No bells. No whistles and a pretty steep price point considering. Baked goods tried were pretty good. Honey had a gouda mushroom thing he liked and a vegan veggie empenada he didn’t care for. I had a delicious chocolate croissant. The staff very nicely toasted everything for us. So an overall very nice experience. This leaves the Alchemist in Wilton Manors as the continued reigning champion of coffee shops with a cold brewed iced coffee that is dreamy(with coffee ice cubes even). The Alchemist’s ambiance is awesome w/terrific music; they use a homemade roasting doohickey and their staff and edibles are great. 2nd place is Alaska Coffee Roasters in Aventura. They also roast their own beans. The espresso is uniformly dreadful and dark roasted, but their coffees are single origin and exceptional. Food is good their too but never arrives as ordered, lol.

Loved the feel of this place. Very industrial chic. What I didn’t love was the $ 12 juice. Seriously, that’s absurd. $ 12. Just stick with the coffee, and get your juice else where.

This is my second visit to the seed! I love the coffee. it is so amazing… I love coffee for the deep rich coffee taste… I prefer coffee with just cream so I can enjoy the coffee flavor with no sugar or flavor. the more bitter the better… the first time I came in, I got an iced coffee to go, and added some cream. The first sip of this iced coffee made my eyes big and jaw drop. this is my kind of coffee… very strong and rich. It is hard to find coffee like this anywhere… I look forward to coming here every chance I get for a great cup of coffee. since coffee is a big part of my life the fact that the seed not only meets my expectations but indubitably exceeds them is a rare but monumental occurance. Aside from the amazing coffee they have amazing foods to pick from. This particular time I got the chance to taste a gingerbread man for the holidays and it was scrumptious! The atmosphere is very modern and relaxing… even the cream and milk containers are elegant! I suggest everyone come to the seed and try it out. I know they won’t regret it!

I’d been dying to check this place out and it was everything I could have asked for. Broward has some seriously great coffee shops and The Seed is definitely one of them. Friendly staff, lots of room to sit and sip and they carry brands like Compartier chocolate and locally roasted Wells Coffee. Thank goodness they aren’t *too* close or I’d be digging a hole in my wallet.

Before a delightful meeting that was mandatory. Jade C and I decided to skip our way into this little Tucktaway place that she had found in BOCA. As a 3 to 4 cup a day coffee person, this sounded like the perfect place to try out. These small hippy coffee houses are a dying breed but it was quite astonishing to see so many people supporting this business and the atmosphere was undeniably cozy and quaint. I simply ordered a vanilla latte. it was the right combination of espresso coffee and vanilla, A+. For my side treat I ordered a fruit crumb square. It was absolutely homemade and delicious. I will definitely return.

Had this place bookmarked for a while now, and found the perfect opportunity when Rico R and I had some downtime before a morning meeting. It was located on an easily accessible corner of Boca Raton Blvd and Palmetto Pkwy. The entrance is shopfront and signage is clear. Walking in it definitely has an earthy hipster vibe, there were a few people already settled at tables with their laptops out. I like that there were large high tops and also small wooden 2 seater tables. The menu was clearly displayed and the girl behind the counter was very pleasant and great at answering our questions. I went for the macchiato sweetened with raw cane sugar. She elaborated that it was not like a Starbucks macchiato which I was aware of, more like a mini espresso italian style for sipping. I also got the apricot bar. They had a nice selection of baked goods and cakes, some listed as gluten free or vegan. I really enjoyed my little macchiato shot, it definitely gave me the caffeine boost I was looking for; the apricot bar coupled with my coffee perfectly, It was just the right size, not to sweet and moist in the middle. I noticed that the juices were frequently ordered while we were there and I would probably try one on my next visit, although I feel the prices, particularly on the juices are a bit steep. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Can this place be any prettier? I absolutely love coffee places like this. I truly enjoy the hipster vibe. Enjoyed the green matcha latte with my honey, which came out with a pretty design. Thanks, artsy and skillful barista! Not too sweet yet very creamy. I also had their Ethiopian brew iced for to-go. Strong and I liked it. Good with almond milk. And it truly woke me up and knocked out my headache after the caffeine settled in. The tables are electronic friendly. They had outlets attached, including USB ports to charge your cellular devices. I thought the lighting fixtures were unique and pretty neat, but I did wish that backside of the room had brighter lighting because that one corner seemed quite dim. Truly enjoyed watching them roast coffee with their coffee roaster, standing right in front by the windows– you could also watch the roasting from outside but it is so much better inside(and smells better too). Free stickers of the coffee brand Wells. Too far from my area but I will definitely want to come again.

I love your nontraditional coffee shops, getting really tired of dunkin and the bucks. I was really excited to see The Seed pop up on Unilocal and decided to give them a try for my afternoon pick me up. I walked in around 5:30 on a Friday and did not realize it but they were going to close at 6 pm :(and wanted to stay and do some work. The place was pretty busy, chairs almost all taken. When I went to the bar, the guy helping me was not very friendly. I told him it was my first time and if he could recommend me something hot, strong, and sweet. As if I was bothering him, he suggested a latte or a cappuccino. I asked him if he had any flavors and he said vanilla, lavender, and mocha. I decided to go with the almond milk vanilla latte, it tasted ok. Pros: –Authentic coffee, with foam art –Cool décor –Little nook for sitting and sipping your coffee –Free wifi –Fresh juices($ 9 – 13) Cons: –Not the best service –No soy milk(just almond and reg) –Limited flavors –Pricey(I don’t mind paying for great service and delicious coffee, but I experienced neither) –Limited seating –They don’t open past 6 on any day. Given the other great reviews on Unilocal,I may try this place again but so far not a fan.

Since my first visit back in January when the Seed first opened I have come back a few different times and I was happy to see a huge change in service. The place is still a cool, trendy coffee shop but it has a more inviting feel now. I always get a hello and a smile when I come in now and they even offer a $ 1 off coffee, juice or a smoothie with a Unilocal check in! Bonus! I usually get an iced coffee to-go and I love how they have the flavored liquid sugar(vanilla is my favorite) and cream etc. available on the side so you can make it exactly how you like it. This area is always kept clean, not a mess like many other places. The cappuccino is good and so are the lattes. I recently tried one of there juices of coconut water, lemon and pineapple(tasted like lemonade almost) and I really enjoyed it. I have yet to try the food but it always looks delicious! Prices can be a bit high but you are paying for quality products, if you want cheap coffee there are places for that. If you want something flavorful and unique, made from quality ingredients you go to the Seed.

This place is super cool! You walk in and are welcomed by the warmness of the wood and wooden tables with flowers, succulents and books. The tile backslash and exposed ceiling give it an industrial, loft feel. Thank you all for the tip about the seating area to the left; its so cozy and good for people watching, if you so desire. Unilocal check-in here is $ 1 off a coffee which is awesome. I got a latte and pistachio coconut banana bread; together, it was less than $ 7. The latte was flawless. I love the big mugs they serve it in. They had a choice of simple, vanilla, and lavender syrups at the condiment bar. I tried the lavender to be adventurous and it was sweet and delicate, not at all overpowering. The staff are efficient and courteous. I still prefer the flavor of panther coffee, but this is definitely a close second. I’m getting another coffee before I leave and I will definitely be back!!!

I am so sick of giant coffee conglomerates and usually stick to my keurig. And when I saw the seed pop up the only thing that bummed me out was it’s on the total opposite side of town from me and my work therefore rarely get an excuse to go there for a morning brew. Last week finally the opportunity presented itself! I normally get iced coffee but the girl working the counter said they don’t ice the coffee due to it effecting the taste, so I got it hot. They do offered already bottle cold brew. I ordered a red eye(coffee + espresso shot) and milked and sugared it myself. It was awesome to see almond milk along side the other creamer options for self service. The coffee was great tasting and the perfect temp(not too hot!). A great place to hang out for a morning brew and or snack!
