If you’re looking for make up, shampoo, perfume, or a host of other beauty items you’ll probably find it here. The store is large, bright, and nicely laid out. Their prices are good, especially when they’re having a sale. I get their flyers and they always have something I want to buy. Several months ago I was looking for a shampoo my hairdresser recommended. The large size bottle, at stores that sold it, was $ 29.00. I checked Ulta and they had it on sale for $ 15.00. I went there and bought six large bottles. Now I check their ads, and when I see a great price for something I’m going to need, even if I don’t need it yet, I stock up. That’s how good their sales are. I’m not saying everything they sell is cheap or discounted, but watching for their sales can save you money.

I needed my hair fixed BAD! And i was suggested to go to Dominique, she did an AMAZING job, I couldn’t of asked for anyone better, shes very trendy which is what I was looking for, and she explained everything she was doing, I feel like I got a hair lesson, I will definitely be going back to her.

Salon at Boca Raton Store Review: I received a blowdry service at the salon today, as I do 2 – 3 times per month at the Boca, Deerfield Beach or Coral Springs location. When I got to the register, I noticed my receipt didn’t include the following promo featured on the Ulta salon website: 30% off All Blowouts Offer valid for all guests with any designer. Prices vary by designer. Cannot be combined with any other hair offer at THESALON. Discount applied at time of service. Offer valid 5÷10÷15−5÷30÷15. I was told to go back to the stylist at the salon for an adjusted receipt. The stylist, Lori Ann, was clearly bothered by this. She told me she was running late and that I should have told her I had a coupon. Mind you, this is supposed to be an offer for ALL clients during the month of May without an actual coupon required, so I don’t understand why I was hassled to get the discount I was entitled to. I’m honestly suspicious why she didn’t include it to begin with?! Are the stylists paid based on the dollar amount of their services? Does a $ 10 discount make that much of a difference to them? I tipped $ 10 based on the FULL price of the $ 31 blowdry, so I don’t understand the bad attitude. Ulta, please train your salon team on their customer service skills! I have already spent $ 488 at your stores and salons in 2015 and it’s only May. Treat your loyal salon and store customers BETTERTHANTHIS.

I love ulta. The love how their is such a variety of products. The service however, disappoints. The employees can’t seem to help you with your makeup questions. DONOTGETYOURHAIRCUTHERE. I went to cut my hair there instead of my usual salon, because I wanted to gain more points. I was there for 3 hours!!! It was an entire day experience. I went with my mom and the same guy was doing both of our hair. it’s not like I didn’t make an appointment. He also had us sit and wait before our blow dry to cut some man’s hair. By the time he blow dried my hair, it was already dry. We actually left as the store was closing, and I didn’t gain many points. It was a very bad salon experience, but I love the store and the products it provides. This is the only place that sells both high end and drug store makeup. They also have a great clearance section, which I love!

It’s hard to find a salon to a good stylist in South Florida. I’ve been her 5 years and I stil don’t have a steady stylist. I have shopped at Ulta for years and even recently become dedicated to Dermalogica, the skincare line many Ulta centers avidly promote. I decided to give The Salon inside Ulta at Delray Beach a try. So, this morning, I made an appointment online. I made the appointment online because I cannot easily make or accept personal calls while at work. At 4pm, I received a phone call and subsequent voicemail from The Salon asking me to confirm my 6pm appointment. I could not get to the message until I left my office and was on my way to the appointment. When I called The Salon to confirm and let them know I was on my way, they asked me if I could come the following day instead because the stylist wouldn’t be ready for me at 6pm. What’s the point of having online appointments if they are not actually available and must still be confirmed by phone? I promptly cancelled the appointment and the person on the phone simply said ok and hung up. What kind of customer service is this? I was hoping to enjoy the salon services as well(this would have been my first time using The Salon), but I don’t see myself giving The Salon another chance after this experience.

*Sigh* I have a confession. I’m a dirty cheater. Sephora and I have been in a steady relationship for years now. It has been my go-to beauty store for all of my facial products, but Sephora is in the Boca mall. I really, really, really can’t stand going into the mall for any reason at all. I don’t even like shopping for the most part. Anyway, I knew I needed to pay a visit because I needed to pick up a few products. I was dreading this necessary trip to the mall. Enter a brief sighting of Ulta, as I drove through the parking lot of the Westwinds of Boca shopping center, in my time of need. Oh, Ulta! I just couldn’t resist you. You are less than a minute from my place, located on the southeast corner of Glades and 441. It takes less than a minute to reach the door from the car. The ultimate bonus is that I don’t have to fight crazy crowds just to make it into the store. I thought, why not? I might find what I need. I can go in just this once. I’ve done it only once in the past(Yes, I’ve cheated with Ulta once before). I can make this a single visit. Just once doesn’t make it habitual… Well once has turned into several visits. To be frankly honest, I don’t feel guilty anymore either. It’s nicely lit inside. It’s large, but I’ve seen bigger.(Insert joke: TWSS). They have a large variety, but lack certain brands, like Kate Somerville and Laura Mercier. It’s not as organized as it could be. There are products that seem to always be out of order. I’m not sure why, but I do know that they recently hired a couple of new employees. Maybe changes are on the way? The employees are fairly attentive. Although, not all of them seem eager to help most customers. The last visit I made was to find a specific hair product. As I browsed the hair products in the back of the store, one lady did ask if I needed anything or had any questions. She actually helped me find the correct products. I also let her cut my hair! I haven’t let anyone cut my hair since I was staying in Seattle. I showed her a picture and she gave me the exact cut that I wanted. I was more than pleased. Thanks, Gina! In fact, I was so thrilled with my haircut, that I set up a recurring appointment. Thankfully, I’ll receive a notification so I won’t forget! It takes forever when I cut my own hair. She managed to cut my hair in more than half the time it would have taken me to cut it. I’m glad I took a chance. Normally, I wouldn’t even consider it. I’ve been through some hair horrors at the hands of others. However, I went through with it, figuring if she messed my hair up that it would just grow back. If you need your haircut, go see Gina. The price is really low compared to what I’ve paid in the past at different places. I can’t give this place five stars. It’s definitely better than a three, since they also carry brands you can find in many stores, like Target, but it’s not a five. Really, it’s more like 3.5 stars because of the lack of attention from the employees and organization. It also appears that some of the employees, when asked several questions, don’t know their products that well. I also overheard other customers asking questions that nobody could answer. It seems like common sense to want your employees to know about the products they’re selling. Will I come back in the future? Yes, definitely. I mean, I really wish they carried other brands that I’ve grown to love. I would check their website before making the trip to ensure they carry your products. As for me, this place isn’t Sephora, but since it’s so close and they have some of the things I like, I’ll continue my relationship with them. Sorry, Sephora, you’ll have to learn to share!

This place has everything! Even my hard-to-find soap that I usually have to order online. Could spend hours here just looking at all their different products. Great nail polish and makeup selection. Almost too good– how does one decide?! They seem to come out with good discount coupons pretty often, too. As the first reviewer said, I no longer have to go to Town Center’s Sephora!

Thank You! Now I don’t have to drive down Glades to the mall! So much better than Sephora. I am not sure about the salon yet but they have everything!
