Location is everything. With that in mind, this particular TRU is so depressing. The first time I shopped here, I arrived a little before noon and there were just boxes of items strewn all over the floor. I was checking out the action figure aisle and there were several opened boxes just lying around, no one stocking them. It was as if the staff didn’t care and were just like, «here. Take it». Customer service is «meh». I understand there is a lot of items to keep track of but it’s especially difficult when you pretty much never have the hotter items in stock. It seemed like the people at Toys R Us were more concerned with trying to sell people on their credit cards and warranties rather than provide good customer service. Another time I was checking out video games and asking a polite store associate for help when all of the sudden one of the managers(I think her name was Glenda) stormed in and told the young man to leave despite the fact that I specifically asked him to stay and help. Glenda was rude and was not helpful at all. Also, if you plan on using the boys bathroom, look out for the massive racial slur scrawled into the wall that my son witnessed. All in all, go to Target or just shop online. Not only is it a pain in the ass to drive to this particular location as well as leave the parking lot, but the store itself is filled with unhappy parents, disheveled aisles, and unhappy looking employees.

Somewhat shabby. I know I shouldn’t be, but every time I go there, I’m surprised at the dismal service the underpaid teenagers here provide. You know: the whole«walk very fast and avoid contact» tactic, paired with mild annoyance when you finally catch one. Walmart has comparable direction and less of the aggravation.
