Always get what you want, plus good conversation. I’ve been seeing TJ as my barber for 10 years. He focuses on a good environment and quality in his work. I would highly recommend his services.

Had my first cut at Mr. Freshcuts and my barber was Cristal. Not only did I get a cut She also washed my hair which is something I’ve never seen done by a barber! The cut is on point and because it’s appointment based there’s virtually no wait time (another barber new thing). Now I’m very picky with my barbers and prefer one that can easily translate what you want in a hair cut into «the cut» with ease. If a barber uses only clippers then I know they’re in a hurry and will never truly focus on your cut, but if they use a mixture of clipping and scissoring then they are the ones that take the time to cut and style. One thing I noticed with Cristal is that she also took the time to notice the direction of that infamous center swirl most have at the back of their head. Where its oftentimes looks like a whirlwind. If a barber fails to notice the direction it’s going you’ll wind up cutting against the grain which is a no no. She noticed and that impressed me because i can’t remember the last barber that did. It’s may be trivial and silly to some but for its important because I love my hair and always want it to looks it’s best. Long story short, I Will definitely be returning. Thanks Cristal!

Stopped in last Friday around noon when they opened. Did not have an appointment and never had heard of this shop before this visit. I did not have to wait long, Mike came up to me after I waited for about five minutes. He was very professional. He showed to his chair and we reviewed how I normally get my hair cut. After we spoke for a few minutes I felt like he has been cutting my hair for years! The hair cut came out perfect and the price was right. I have been looking for the best Barber shop around since I moved down here a year ago and I finally found it!
I strongly recommend this place for everyone.

Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon without an appointment. I could tell from the moment I walked in that this is a modern shop with a classy down to earth atmosphere. I needed to get a straight razor trim. No Problem.
Rick, who was awesome, worked his magic and ten minutes later I’m walking out the door feeling glad I chose this shop. Next time I’m in New Jersey, without hesitation, I will be stopping by to get another trim.

Recently got my 1^st cut from Mr. FreshCut himself, TJ, and I gotta say that I’m very impressed! I showed him a few pics of what I wanted and he hooked me up, both with a tight fade and beard trim, exactly what I wanted, which is way more than I can say about most places I’ve been. I live in Kearny and have travelled as far as Park Slope, BK for a great cut, now I only have to make it to Bogota to see my new barber TJ. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment now, I have a feeling his schedule is going to get real hectic real soon.

Great barbershop. TJ gave my 6-​year old son a nice tight Mohawk fade. My son was comfortable the whole time and TJ was very professional. Mr. freshcut is 1^st class all the way. Highly recommended place to get a great haircut. Best bet is to make an appointment online. Walk-​ins are risky and will probably end up waiting.

Mr. Freshcut is the only barber I trust with my hair. Since I was 16-​years-​old, and with the exception of a few self-​massacred buzz cuts during the grueling summers, I have been a loyal client of his. With the changing times, ever changing styles and looks, Mr. Freshcut not only broadened his techniques to include scissor cuts and styling, but has been a trend setter in the area with his finished cuts.
As I’ve aged, my style, profession and need for professional looking hair has as well. What started off as a Brook or a Fade with a Mohawk as a 16 year old football player has turned into a much more professional looking scissors cut, all done by Freshcut himself. He takes his time and perfects each and every clients haircut, and I have never been disappointed.
Hot towel shaves, washouts, eyebrows, styling. You name it, he does it. Safe to say that Freshcut is the best barber in the area. Highly recommended.

These guys are experts. Not only to they give you a great cut but they educate you on how to maintain the look. I really don’t see myself going anywhere else. You pay for quality service. TJ and his crew have a great shop here.

It’s so hard to find a barber who knows how to use scissors and could blend a fade properly. TJ is not a kid with clippers, he’s a pro; who knows his stuff when it comes to styling. I have been coming here since the shop was under construction, but now that the shop is complete I am compelled to finally write this review.
TJ (Shop Principal) has been cutting my hair for over two years and I have nothing but good things to say. He has a vision and it’s been great seeing it progress over the past couple of years. Everyone at the shop is friendly and courteous, and I would definitely recommend you guys stopping by.
I do not remember anytime that I have left after a haircut here and thinking man this haircut sucks. Always on point!

This place will change the industry. Every member of the fresh cut team was hand selected and I believe that the top barbers in the northern NJ area are here. Responsible, timely and professional team that knows what you want (even if you don’t). The place is huge with a great environment! The place is still under construction (and still looks better than most shops I’ve been in).
