McDonald’s

I came to this McDonalds tonight because I needed a place I could work on my side biz on my laptop without distractions. Recently I came to this same McDonalds and did this for 3 hours and was pleased with how much I had accomplished.
BTW, Tonight I got a 6 piece chicken nuggets, small fries, and water for $ 2.50 and it tasted pretty good, service was friendly enough.
However…
The environment was NOT as nurturing as I needed it to be…
There was this lady and man sitting at the next table over. She was an aisle-​blocking colossal blubbernaught. He was late 40s, handsome-​ish Italian-​y… So I boot up my laptop to start working and for the next hour and a half, I hear her continuously shrieking, wailing, complaining, insulting, pouting, and just about any other negative verb you could throw into the mix. Apparently, from what i could hear, they work together. They were fighting about something happening at work, work being some government agency. She was whining about everything and everyone at this job and NOBODY seemed to do anything, in her opinion.
THE WHOLE TIME, she was being such a bi+ch to him and was complaining about everyone and everything at work. I could NOT take it, I was trying to concentrate on the work I needed to be doing but she was making it impossible. I don’t know WHY this guy was putting up with her shi+ for as long as he did, but I couldn’t help but approach their table on my way out.
As I loomed over their table, she sneered at me like «yesss??»
and I said to her «You could be a lot happier if you would concentrate less on your environment»
and I turned to the guy and said «Your workplace seems very toxic»
(what I meant was SHE is toxic),
he said «it is!»
I said «you are very patient.»
he replied, «thank you for saying that!»
then i exited. I hope that I gave her some food for thought about how maybe some internal changes could be positive for her. I wanted to tell her exactly how miserable she was but I didn’t want her to follow me outside and copy down my plate number to track me down and use her connections at the government agency to ruin my life.

Came in the other day an ordered a Big Mac. I know they don’t come like the way the picture has it but can you guys at least build it straight so when I bite into it it’s not falling apart. The lines are terrible both drive-​thru and inside the wait is at least 8 minutes way to long for a fast food restaurant. I really think management need to coach the employees on how to build the burger properly or switch up positions so things run smoother.

The food was typical. No drive they. I am rating it a one how very because a really bad practice they have of saying «can I help whoever is next». There are four cashiers. There are four lines. The person that’s next is the person standing in front of you. That phrase implies there is no line and lead two people to jump ahead of me because they had arrived at the mcd before me, even though they were in a different, slower, line. Every cashier said there and I saw several people do that «you first» «no after you» routine. They clearly are trained to do it and the manager needs to retrain them to avoid this needless confusion.

This is probably the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. The service was very fast and the quality of the food was very good. I ordered a Big Mac meal and it was good.

Will be contacting McDonald’s feedback line. Have concerns regarding the sanitation at this location. First watched a server scratching under and blowing his nose without washing his hands. Didn’t say anything because he wasn’t handling my food and I had just gone because of the fire alarm in my hotel went off and I was woken up cranky.
Then I found a hair in my food. Manager Said she’d bring my replacement but the boy wound up doing it. Ew. Unwrapped it from the corners trying not to touch the paper.

Its a McDonald’s, food taste the same as any other. This location is packed during lunch hours but the line moves very quickly. Service is always fast and friendly, so fast that sometimes I feel rushed.
This location was redone to have a more vintage feel a few years back, I think it was a major improvement.
This location does not have a drive-​thru but there is tons of parking.

Fast food.
So I’m on my way to the airport for an early flight and want coffee in a bad way — so I wheel into the Mcd’s I see on the way and wouldn’t you know it, it is probably one of the last fast food joints with no drive through!
I am usually a wired road warrior so my car is all blue toothed and whatnot so I like to keep rolling and the no drive through kind of put me off but I really wanted a coffee so I parked and went in.
It was actually kind of cool — sort of like being transported back to the time before drive through lanes made us all lazy fatsos — and it gave me a chance to stretch my legs.
The whole restaurant is done in a retro style with the big arches and all — definitely worth hitting if only for the old-​time look and feel.
Parking all around the perimeter.

Good service here. This place is clean and efficient. Probably where I’ll go for a McGangbang.

This one is a bit retro-​styled and unusual for these parts, as it features the olde Kroc-​era bifurcated arches (see pic) and former McDonald’s mascot Speedee is servin’ ‘em up instead of Ronald. Worth taking a look at if you’re over by the airport (
).
