The building has the potential to be a great hotel but the lack of attention is obvious once you enter your room(no fridge, no microwave… This is the first time in my life that a hotel hasn’t had a fridge or microwave… even motels have fridges and microwaves) let me not forget my room mate that’s been adamantly hugging the curtains since I walked in(some insect that I cannot identify) I travel a lot and most of the times I have to be at my destination on a Monday so I end up staying at places over the weekend during my travels(when I drive instead of flying) the preferred hotels were booked, which isn’t surprising when you’re in one of a states«major» cities. Needless to say I hope I don’t get bed bugs(that’s still to be determined and this establishment does appear to be the sort to cater to them) I gave two stars because of the friendly(borderline flirty staff) but I am I catch so I can understand the flirting, and the fact that they have a work out room(even though it’s only three cardio machines, it’s better than a pool which some hotels choose that can’t be used year around or 24⁄7) when your job requires you to stay in shape a gym is very important! This place has potential under proper management, but being where it is, corporate probably isn’t paying too much attention to this location. So if you’ve lasted long enough to read this review the BLUFF(bottom line up front) is it all depends on what type of luxury you want and how tolerate you can be. If a step up from motel 6 won’t do then don’t consider this place! If motel 6 does it for you then this place may be your Taj Mahal. But for those of us who have seen the best and worst of temporary lodging, pass this one up unless you absolutely have to(like I did)

I’ve always had a great stay with this hotel until last week(13 – 15 March). The staff seem very unhelpful when it comes to troubles with the rooms. Today for example, I got up for a shower and no water on our room. I called down to ask when the water was to be turned on and the front desk said that the water would be turned back on in 15 mins, if not call back. I waited for 20 mins, still no water. I then again called down to the front desk to see what the deal was. He acted clueless and acted that I should just deal with it. Once the water did come on I waited for 45 mins before attempting to take a shower and the water was ice cold. The only thing I could wash was my hair under the sink faucet where my scalp was on fire from the ice cold water. I was very irritated. When ready I went down stairs just to mention that a courtesy call would have been appreciated. Some lady came out if the office blasting me as if it was my fault. She was so rude and unprofessional I was speechless and didn’t know what to say. This lady was crazy. I mentioned that I didn’t have hot water in my room and I wasn’t pleased. The response I got from her was«we have hot water down stairs so I know you have hot water on the third floor, you just need to let it run». I let the water run for 3 to 5 mins and never once did it turn warm. I’ve never been treated so poorly by anyone running a business. Now I know why the parking lot is always empty here. It’s a shame considering it’s a nice hotel Either way I will never stay here again. If you’re looking for a place where the hotel actually appreciates your business, don’t stay here. I could have gone to motel 6 and got better service. At least I’d get a hot shower that I paid for and I’d save about 30.00 per night.
