Gigi’s Cafe

Our company does catering every year unfortunately this year, we decided to go with Gigi’s since it was local. That was the worst possible decision ever made, we were given a set price from the beginning and paid extra per person for the changes we made to the menu. Little did we know that we were going to be surprised with an extra $ 132 in hidden fees for tip (which all they did was drop off food and leave) She originally told us to call her the day of the event for the total (which thankfully we called a couple days before) or we would have been blindsided. Not only that but on the morning of, she decides to tell us that the choices which we paid for 24 people would be split in half leaving no choice for the people that were in the back of the line. The banana pudding and red velvet cake was store bought and there was only 12 pieces of cake. (Those were the only things left over seeing as it did not taste very well) Other than that we ran out of food. Also to add to that the delivery guy was half an hour late. The very sad part is that we wouldn’t have minded paying those extra fees had we known from the beginning and had it budgeted but the simple fact that she wanted us to wait until the day of to find out was not at all right. Then to screw us over the day of serving food for 12 people instead of 24 that we paid for. They were rude and unprofessional and I will never step foot in that business again and I will be sure to let everyone I know.
