AAD Inspection Corp

I am the owner/​broker of Progressive Realty Corporation in Boise and have suggested AAD Inspections to hundreds of my clients over the years. I like how thorough their inspections are because I don’t want my clients to buy a home that has unknown issues. I would rather find out about the problems, negotiate through them, or walk from the purchase and find a better home.

I am so impressed with this company. We actually used them twice as we decided not to buy the first home.
Their cost was about $ 100 more than a competitor but our inspection was done by an engineer and we revived a 50+ page report.
I am so glad we decided to radon test-​a must in my opinion now. Th first house we tested came back extremely high and Stan took a lot of time explaining radon to is. In the end we decided to bid on another house and the radon came back extremely low. Had we not tested the first home our young child could have been at risk to develop lung cancer.
Stan personally contacted the hvac service provider on our behalf to discuss all concerns he had.
The company also allows a free re-​inspection of items found.
In the end this company was phenomenal and I can’t recommend them enough!

Stan and Mike (experienced home inspectors) talked me through all the issues they found with a distressed property I was interested in. They provided estimated costs to fix issues along with alternative fixes, where appropriate. They also provided tips for maintaining my home (both verbally and in the inspection report).
Mike was very generous with his time and knowledge during the actual inspection; and Stan was extremely helpful on initial and follow-​up calls. I now feel that I have a good understanding of the issues that need to be addressed at the property inspected. The property was somewhat of a «black box» to me before the inspection.
I made an offer that was accepted on the property. I feel confident about my offer now that I have a better understanding of the costs involved in fixing the property.
Shanna helped me obtain radon results, which required immediate placement of the test kits, retrieval of those test kits on a Saturday, and overnight shipping, so that we could get the results on a very short time frame. Her willingness to help me with this difficult request really stands out in my mind as exceptional service. Shanna and Stan have both been reachable and replied promptly and thoroughly to my queries.

The best home inspector we’ve ever encountered, bar none. The inspectors are engineers with degrees, which we appreciated, and they’re extremely knowledgeable. The owner spent about ten minutes just talking with us at the inspection site, and he told us if we ever had a question about something with our new home, or if something broke and we needed advice, we could call him, 24 hours a day, for free. We thought that was great – and unusual – service.
We’ve used him for home inspections twice, and though we don’t plan to purchase another property any time soon, if we do, we’ll call Stan again.
