I used to shop here when I did coupons awhile back! I came today because they had specials on clams & some other stuff. They’re expensive to begin with, that’s why it’s really smart to shop here only if they have sales & specials & if you do you can stock up. I like that the store manager was around & looking for someone to help. You don’t get to see this packed with people, they open up a cashier if they’re 3 customers on a lane. Also if you have an entertainment book you get $ 7 off when your total is $ 70 or more.

Very expensive place to shop. Decent liquor selection, but I’ve seen better. Aisles were decently laid out and staff was ok, but this place costs notably more than several other places in the area. The store was at least clean, but this is not a really a go-to…more like a keep looking.

It’s true Albertsons is far more expensive than Walmart or even Fred Meyer but I love this location! It is freshly remodeled with new floors and what feels like a higher ceiling. The isles are still narrow claustrophobic deathtraps but if you only have so much room, it’s bound to happen. I plan on visiting this Albertsons location ONLY when they have something on sale that I need and when I do, I will be happy with the remodeled building while I do it.

Since shedding itself from Minnesota-based SuperValu, Albertson’s has been trying hard to reinvent itself and return to its Idaho roots. Prices are lower and workers seem friendlier. And there are more customers in this store. I worked for Albertson’s in Emmett in the late 1970s. Joe Albertson managed a Safeway store there when he decided to open his own store. The chain went way downhill after it was sold to the Minnesota chain. Let’s home they continue to make improvements and become the beloved store they once were.
