All Pro Lawn Service

This is, by far, the nicest and most professional lawn service company I have ever dealt with, and I can’t say enough good things about not only the company but their whole crew. There is nothing their crew can’t handle, with the work being dependable and clean while being courteous and knowledgeable at the same time.
Their outstanding efficiency and truly amazing work ethic is much more than I’ve seen in other states, which will make me recommend APLS to everyone I know.

I contacted All Pro on July 30 via e-​mail to set up lawn service. The response from Jessica was very prompt, and we arranged for the weekly service to start on Wednesday, August 5. Because I was living out-​of-​state, I assumed all was going as scheduled until I received an e-​mail from my realtor on August 17 letting me know the lawn looked rough and asking me to get someone to come take care of it. I e-​mailed back and and asked what was going on, that I had been under the impression that my service was supposed to start on August 5. Jessica responded within a few minutes and said she would check into it and get right back with me. It is now the evening of August 19, and I still haven’t heard back from anyone regarding the lawn. Very frustrating when trying to deal with this from out of town and closing on our home next week.

We decided early this year to take advantage of a lawn care service to free our weekend time this summer. After reviewing several companies we chose All Pro Lawn Service.
We ended up discontinuing service after 3 weeks. The quality of the trimming along the fence line was very poor. I called the owner after the first service to explain that the work that was done didn’t appear to be very professional. He said he would talk with the team and let them know. After two more trimmings the quality never improved.
We asked for a quote for manual weed removal (no spraying of chemicals) and agreed to a extra one-​time fee (I think is was $ 39 an hour and billed at 15 minute increments after the first hour… not a bad price at all). However, when the team showed up to start the maintenance my wife happened to catch them spraying chemicals on the weeds. She asked them to please pull the weeds by hand and that we are paying for the manual removal. The team then proceeded not to pull any weeds because the weeds in the backyard were dead and they decided to leave without verifying if they should remove them or not. I guess I should have said pull the live and dead weeds. The whole ordeal was very frustrating. I ended up weeding spots in the our backyard in preparation of a party we were having.
The owner was very friendly and responded the same day. I’m assuming he can’t be at every job site to measure performance, that is understandable. However, when a customer asks and pays for a service there is an expectation for it to be completed without a problem and for it to be done so in a professional manner. I did not feel All Pro was delivering value especially when I had to touch-​up the yard after they left.

I hired this company to mow my lawn during the summer of 2013. The quality of mowing was poor. The workers used a huge mower so that they could mow my tiny yard in a few minutes. The problem was that there are gradients in my backyard, so this resulted in very uneven cuts. They also had the blade set way too high (and it was probably dull too) so that the grass was always too long and never looked neat, even the day after they mowed it. I emailed the owner, Ryan, on several occasions asking that his employees use a smaller mower and that they cut the grass shorter. I even sent him pictures of the issue. Ryan was always polite and responsive to emails, but the quality of the work never improved. I was paying $ 25 a mow for his workers to zoom around my yard for 10 minutes, when they could have put in a minimal amount of effort to get the job done right and actually earn their fee. I was very unhappy with the service I received.
FYI I was harassed by the owner of the company to take my review down after the fact and to provide my contact information. I politely explained to him that the review was an honest review of my experience and that I would not remove it. I also asked him to stop messaging me to remove it. He posted the misleading comment/​response below to try to cover himself. After that, I changed my two star rating to one. Do you want to do business with a company like this?

My husband had open-​heart surgery this Spring and couldn’t care for the yard this season. We chose All Pro Lawn Service, and we’re VERY glad that we did. Ryan has a very professional team. In addition to their standard mowing, we’ve had them apply fertilizer treatments and do our fall sprinkler blow-​out. They also do the edging and clean-​up.
They’ve been very kind about handling every special request we’ve had. For example, some weeks we wanted to keep the lawn cuttings to mulch the garden.
I like that they can e-​mail invoices instead of wasting paper and mailing them. I can also e-​mail them to have them skip a week or whatever else needs to be done.
We found their rates to be very reasonable. I would enthusiastically recommend their services to anyone.

Very nice folks (sincerely) but had some issues with commitment to the start date of service. Ryan (who probably rated his own company below) committed to be out the first week in April. I got an email at the end of the week that he was delaying it because «other customers would have wanted it» without asking, so much for personal service and asking me what I would have wanted… I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let them do the work the week following (today) that ended up leaving me very disappointed. They edged leaving debris on the sidewalks, left piles of dead leaves scattered in corners and bushes, lawn looks like they just drove over it, nothing more and just left the yard in a unkempt state… Never hurts to give folks a shot but this experience had no value from the start.
