Aspen Sound

I am extremely disappointed in the service provided by Aspen Sound. My 16 year old purchased a car stereo, after doing some research he decided that installation was a project beyond his comfort zone. He contacted Aspen thinking that the «experts» would be able to do the job correctly. Aspen did install the stereo, they did not tell us the stereo was not compatible with the existing set up in his car. My sons father brought the car home and we found out that the sub woofer was not hooked up. Dad took the car back to the shop where he was told that the new stereo was not compatible and if we wanted the sub woofer hooked up it would be an additional $ 368.00 (or more) in parts and labor to fix it. Why did the experts not tell us before the initial $ 178.00 install that the stereo was not compatible?

I work graveyard shifts and went in for a scheduled appointment to fix my auto car starter. That was installed by Aspen sound. Now mind you I have a very tight schedule and minimal free time. I called letting the employee know I was running a few minutes late. When I arrived not only were they working on two other vehicles but my car was not going to be started to be worked on for at least another 45 – 60 minutes. I woke up from sleep to get to this appointment and wasn’t even told on the phone that they were running behind. So now I’ve missed out on much needed sleep but I can’t get in for another month due to my schedule. Super disappointing. Not a happy customer!

A little over a year ago, I bought two subs, and an amp from the guys at Aspen Sound. I love my setup and until just a few days ago, I hadn’t had any issues. I started my car and was all set to jam out to Def Leopard but my subs stayed silent. I called the guys at Aspen and they told me to bring it in and they’d give it a look. After about 20 minutes (the whole time I’m dreading what it’ll cost me to solve the problem) they came to the conclusion that my amp was busted. I’d hoped it was still under a warranty because I couldn’t afford another $ 250.00 for a new amp, but Austin Nyland helped me out. He pulled it out to be sent off for repairs. I should have it back in just a week or two. A big thank you to my new buddy, Austin, and to all of the awesome, friendly, and professional guys at Aspen Sound. I highly recommend these great people to anyone looking to upgrade, or maintain their system. 5 well deserved stars.

Aspen Sound is legit. Personal service and great prices. I won’t go anywhere else. Everything from stereos, remote starters and subs.

Our car radio died. Fuses, etc. fine. Stopped in on a Saturday to check prices and found a unit we liked. They were able to install it while we waited (about 45 minutes). The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great experience.

If I was given the option to leave a review and put «0» stars as my choice that would be closer to how I feel about this place. If I could put negative stars that would be more appropriate. This company held onto my car for 3 days to install a simple deck and when I called to get an update on my car not only did the guy not know what I was talking about, no work had been done. They were also wanting to charge an unreasonable amount of money. Maybe the men working at this store thought it would be easy to scam a girl but I know quite a bit about audio installation and knew they were trying to pull one over on me. Frustrated I picked up my car 4 days later (with no work done/​communication on their part) and took it to a new audio installation place. Needless to say I’m paying $ 100 cheaper than I was originally quoted and my car will take 2 days to get done. Do your homework. DO NOT get your car work done here. There are many places in town, locally owned who will do the job for a reasonable price and not jerk you around. Aspen sound is a piss poor excuse for car audio installation. Do not waste your time or money.
