This place has more than you can imagine. Price point is a bit high for some items for others, it is perfect. If you have a few extra moments in your day pop by here to shop. They have hats, jackets, bags, goggles, boots, patches, water gear, camping gear, trinkets, and qwerky treats. It is hard to list all the treasures you will run across but you will be pretty amazed with all the goodies.

I was born in Boise and have been going to Boise Army-Navy for many years. That was until this week. I rented a raft from them, used the raft(which performed fine) and treated it properly, only to get a call several days later that I was going to be charged at least $ 500 and that I had«blown out» the floor of the raft and would be liable for the«damage». I explained that I did no such thing but they were unwilling to believe me and I will be disputing the charge and will fight it as much as possible. If I damaged the raft myself I would own up to it… in my opinion Boise Army Navy either got the wrong raft or is trying to charge me for damage that didn’t really happen. Needless to say they have lost a lifetime customer by the way I was treated and I would not recommend renting any of their equipment. If you want to rent a raft I would recommend BSU’s Rec Center as they have always treated me fairly.

Selection is good but service is pretty disappointing. Really no drive to help the customers.

Fun place to go and browse, you can find some very interesting things. They have a wide variety of camping supplies and surplus items from the military. The store is kept clean and tighty unlike some surplus stores that I have seen. Though I don’t know much about rafting they seem to have a sizable amount of gear for that sport along with outdoor cooking gear, tarps with poles, knifes, and don’t forget the military surplus clothing. Definitely worth a look if you are in the market for camping gear.
