Centurylink Arena

Great little arena, nice seats from everywhere and lots of great dining options within walking distance

Went to the bsu/​u of I hockey game last week. Was an awesome experience I love the setup of the arena. Staff were all really nice!

Recently visited for a concert. An usher brought me to my seat (2^nd row) but walked off with my ticket. After set break I tried to return to my seat and was harassed and yelled at repeatedly by the security guard in front of stage who would not let me sit in my seat. His name is Bart and has a bald head and tattoos up his right arm with a single band tattoo around his left arm near elbow. I have uploaded a photo of this derogatory human to this Unilocal site so the community of Boise knows who is out to hurt people and berate people because they believe you to be a certain sexual orientation (even though I have a big wedding band on my finger). The person who checked my ticket at the door brought me down and informed him that she knew I was seated in that row and he threatened to throw me out. He said I could sit in any other seat except for the one I had paid for. I even showed him my receipt. He called me derogatory names such as «faggot.» I later got my ticket back and was allowed to sit in my seat over an hour later. After the show I asked another person to let me talk to the manager and Bart ran up to where I was and started yelling in my face that he doesn’t understand how «I don’t get punched in my face wherever I go» and stood over me yelling and threatening me while I stood next to another security guard who just watched. I will never attend a show at this venue ever again and recommend you do the same. I don’t understand how homophobic people like this even find a job in customer service who have no people skills and represent companies such as CenturyLink. I spoke to Jennifer the manager and was not offered a refund for my ticket. Buyer Beware. Go somewhere else. There are lots if great places to visit in Boise. This is not one of them.
