Fancy Pants

I didn’t buy anything. However, I’d imagine living in Boise, if I needed to look real good and wanted to splurge, I’d hightail it to Fancy Pants. Jeans that will make your ass look tight, stylish sweaters and special occasion dresses? Yep!
I was wooed in with their shop window showing off the famed designers they carry — all the likes you can find in upscale department stores like Saks and Bloomingdales and that’s exactly what they carry. An extremely well curated selection of designer labels that will have you looking stylish. It will cost you a pretty penny, but no need to order from online, you can go and try it on!
The gals who own the joint are super friendly, approachable and helpful and I’m sure will tell you what’s up and I’d imagine their customer service is on par.*
I wanted everything, but left with nothing but fall clothing envy.
* Again, I didn’t purchase anything, so this is an assumption.

Moving here from SF, I was worried I might not be able to find my jeans. You know what I mean, those jeans, those jeans you can’t live without! As luck would have it, I was strolling around downtown, and on the the corner of 9^th and Idaho, there it was… like a beacon in the night, Fancy Pants. I saw the clothes through the window, an d knew my prayers had been answered. Not only do they carry my favorite designer (Cynthia Vincent), and other high-​end labels I love, but they also carry a wide variety of jeans, and my favorite of all, J Brand. The owner was lovely, and so very helpful, only adding to my wonderful shopping experience there. I walked out with my J Brands, a darling top, and a big smile. I love Boise even more now!

Great service and great lines. Prices reflect the brands that they carry, and they are the only shop in town carrying them. Jaimie was very helpful and personal, it was a lovely experience.

I am astonished at the level of service and the selection of current, beautiful fashion provided by Courtney and Jamie. I’m one of their number one fans and customers.

Cute stuff, but extremly expensive. I don’t know how they survive in Boise right now. If they can make it with their prices in this economy that says something good about them. They’ve got some really nice stuff, that only a certian group of people can afford. If I could… I WOULD.

I went searching through downtown Boise to see what my clothing store options will be for jeans. I was a bit scared while driving around (yes very LA) because all I saw were a few big box stores. So I decided to join in with the other Boiseans and walk around… and to my surprise I found Fancy Pants as well as a few other cute little boutique stores to my liking.
As the other reviews state Fancy pants offers quite an array of brands that I was afraid I would have to travel for.
Courtney, in true LA style was still applying her makeup as we walked in but she was quick to put it down and make sure all our questions were answered. As far as fashion and running a business goes, Court and Jaime know what pieces to choose and how to decorate an amazing little boutique. Fancy Pants has been open for about 2 years now and I WISH IT THE BEST! I just bought a Juicy track suit yesterday and they have a ton of great things in right now (as they always do!).
Higher end brands like Alice + Olivia, Graham and Spencer, 12^th Street by Cynthia Vincent, Madison Marcus, and True Religion are definitely going to be a bit spendy. ($ 120 – 450) However, they also carry brands like Bobi, C&C California, LA Made, Juicy, 7 for all mankind, etc. that are very reasonably priced ($ 35 – 200) for designer brands. They also have a great selection of shoes (flats, heels and boots right now, usually sandals, flats and open toe heels in the warmer months) carrying brands like Sam Edelman and dolce vita.
The ladies are WONDERFUL, always put together, smiling and willing to help at the drop of a hat. They are not pushy or rude though which is a plus when shopping.
**As a warning to shoppers, Fancy Pants (and Miss Molly’s) are the ONLY two boutiques in downtown Boise that actually carry genuine True Religions, Citizens, Juicy and 7s. Watch out for Foxtrot, Bellissima, and a few others in town as they are selling fakes unfortunately. I had to learn the hardway.
To end on a lighter note though, I LOVE FP!

I love this store. They have beautiful clothing and the sweetest employees. It tends to be a bit pricey, but are miles ahead of other «trendy» boutiques in Boise. And really, I can’t say enough about the girls that work here. They are helpful and very persuasive. It’s my go-​to store whenever I need something fun/​amazing/​perfect.

I love this little shop located right on the corner of 9^th and Idaho. I bought my very first pair of designer jeans here, my Jbrands, love them! The owner is a delight and she’s almost always there to help you decide on an item. The thing I most appreciate about this store is the variety. If I’m on a bit of a budget I can still stop in and find a really cute shirt for under $ 30. If I’m in the mood to splurge I can find myself in a pair of True Religion or Gold Sign jeans. They also have a small selection of men’s attire as well so it’s easier to drag your boy in there to spend some money on you!
