This store and another with the same name in Eagle are both owned by the same very nice guy, Harry Young, who is clearly an expert in art framing and hanging art. The latter called ‘installation’ in the art trade. My husband and I have found trying to hang art together is a strain on our marriage. We figured it was wiser to hire Harry to install a couple of dozen art pieces in our new home, including a couple of large and heavy pieces, than hire a divorce attorney. It was an absolute relief to find an expert who knows what he is doing in this specialty. Harry managed to do in just a few hours what it would have taken my husband and I a couple of days to get done and our outcome would not have been as perfect as Harry’s work. Not only that, Harry was on time each time and had the tools and materials he needed to get the job done. Being at the tale end of a custom home build project where the builder had difficulty getting his subs to show up when they should be there with what they needed and stay on the job until it was done, I wanted to jump for joy that Harry made the art hanging not only easy on us but fun too. In addition, because he has had so much experience in art installation, he could make recommendations about siting for ours. We highly recommend working with Harry and plan to ask him to come back soon to hang some new pieces. THIS N THAT: Although we’ve never had items framed here, we’ve had top notch experience with Harry’s Eagle location for custom framing. If we lived in Boise, we’d happily use the Boise location for that work too. Harry no longer does the framing, he has folks at each store to do that work. And if you’re in Eagle, we highly recommend Ben Smith at that location to frame.
