Denver Mattress has the most consumer friendly warranty policy I’ve encountered. So many companies use their warranty policy as a selling feature which usually impacts your buying decision. When there is a problem with the product and you attempt to file a warranty claim, some companies find a way to make the issue your problem leaving you completely dissatisfied and feeling taken advantage of. That was not the case at Denver Mattress Boise. A side clip broke on my mattress. I contacted Denver Mattress about the issue. They told me to bring pictures of the mattress showing the problem. Once at the store the warranty claim process took less than 15 minutes and that’s only because I did not have my original invoice. They provided a full replacement mattress with zero out of pocket expense to me. Service after the sale will keep me coming back to Denver Mattress in the future.

My experience started fine, found the couch I loved, paid for in full. Opted to pick up ourselves and save the $ 89 delivery fee. Couch was to be inspected prior to shipping, which I have no doubt that it was, was placed gingerly in our truck by the dock folks and drove it home. Once the wrapping was removed we discovered a spot on the top left back corner of the couch where the steel frame was literally bent over and had cut through the upholstery. When we called the store, they indicated that it had been inspected and it must have happened during our transport. What in insult! There was not a tear in the plastic or anything that would indicate that this damage was anything other than the weight of something very heavy forcing the frame to bend during the transport from Mississppi to the store. They would not come to the house to exchange the couch without a fee. Reviewed the situation with the manager who again accused us of damaging the couch ourselves and that we were lucky that we were getting the couch replaced. This is one of the poorest examples of customer service and I for one(new to Boise) will NEVER darken their doors again. I mean really, why on earth would I cause damage to a sofa that I had purchased for my living room. Very small minded folks with no sense of customer service.

So far I am pretty happy with our experience at Sofa Mart. The sales rep there was not pushy at all, which was a HUGE difference from almost every other furniture store we went to, and yes he still works off commission. The selection is not as large as some others,(like RC Willey), but overall a better quality than some of the other places, although that depends on the exact piece, of course. We actually ended up spending a bit more than what we had planned, just because they carried the only couch that my boyfriend and I BOTH liked. Hopefully it will be worth it once we get the sofa. Will try to update once delivered… as long as all goes well I may change my review to 5 stars…
