Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts

Jo-​Ann has a great selection of everything, including fabrics, threads, beads, other craft materials.
The employees are knowledgeable about products and friendly enough. Often they remind me of a coupon I can find online over my phone.
The price seem a bit high, but craft materials are not cheap to get by anymore. Definitely coupons help. They do distribute online or paper coupons generously.
The only complaint — it is hard to get help. It always seems understaffed, which concerns me. I hope they can figure out a way to keep it open!

This Joann’s always seems to be severely understaffed. There is almost always a line at the fabric cutting counter, and then another long line at the register to pay, and the employees never call for backup help. It’s also nearly impossible to find assistance if you need it – it’s as if they only have two people staffing the entire store at once, even during busy times. They also seem to always be having trouble with the fabric bolt scanner when I’m there – I think they need an upgrade on the scanners or software they are using. I wish my experience here were better, as it’s the closest fabric/​craft store to my house, but I often find myself opting to shop online or at other stores because it’s such a hassle to get what I need.
