I stayed at this location for 2 nights and found it to be okay while on business in Boise. One of the few locations that I had booked last minute at 10:30PM while driving from Denver during an ice storm. While the location was okay and a part of the airport’s motel/hotel row, the parking was a little tight in certain areas of the building for an SUV. The room itself was fine, yet the bed was a bit too soft. I didn’t complain too much, given that I had early morning appointments and that I slept like a rock after returning to the Rodeway in the late evening. The WiFi was fine. Breakfast was available, yet I didn’t really partake in it, other than to get coffee. That in itself was average, yet I didn’t care. I was happy enough to use my rewards card to accumulate more points(Choice Hotels), as well as use points to obtain a free night. The staff at the front desk was friendly enough. Altogether, this location was okay, considering that it was a last minute arrangement.

I’m really surprised by the low reviews for this place. We stayed here a few weeks ago and were extremely impressed. Our flight got in late and we didn’t want to risk missing our rental car pick-up time… so we needed a place within walking distance from the airport. Enter the Rodeway Inn Airport. It is about a 5 minute walk from the airport, which is fantastic. I believe they also have a complimentary shuttle if you have a ton of bags and don’t want to walk or cab it over. When we arrived, we were greeted by an extremely friendly woman at the front desk. She checked us in very quickly and directed us to our room. I believe they recently updated their rooms since our room didn’t seem to match the pictures on Unilocal. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. In addition to a clean and updated room, we appreciated that they also served us breakfast. The breakfast included juice, coffee, muffins, fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, and cereal(among other things). Not bad for a place that advertises a continental breakfast. For the price and location, we thought it was perfect for our stay. We would highly recommend it to other guests.

Stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. The room was average, nothing but a place to sleep. The bed was the hardest I have ever had in a hotel. Very uncomfortable ! The price was right for a short stay, paid $ 60 a night through

You get what you pay for. I awoke to a back aching from a bed of bricks. Will not be returning.

I booked a non-smoking room. They had me down for a smoking room. Not a big deal. It happens. Simple fix: Put me in a non-smoking room. «Oh no, sir. I can’t do that. I’ll get fired.» But the room is available! «I’m sorry sir, you booked it online, so the only way we can switch you to a non-smoking room is for you to go back to the site you booked it from. My boss will fire me if I switch your room.» Let me see the manager. «He’s not here. He’s out running errands.» Give me his cell so I can call him. «I can’t do that.» Then you call him. «No.» No? Are you kidding me? One star for the manager who operates his hotel like this. I cancelled and found another hotel down the block.

My flight was canceled and the airline booked me a room at the Sleep Inn. I’m generally hesitant to stay at any Choice Privileges hotel because they’re usually not very good… but this one was an exception. The parking lot had sufficient lighting, the lobby and room was clean, the shower was HUGE with plenty of hot water, and the AC/heater worked well. I only rated it four stars because of the cigarette smoke smell in the hallway… other than that it’s completely doable.

For less than $ 60, I got a very nice room at Sleep Inn — clean, comfortable and well-equipped(with free wifi). The room smelled fresh when I walked in, which is the litmus test for any hotel room. The bed is comfy, the wifi is fast. Small bathroom, but the usual shampoo, etc., which is nice in this price range. The lobby and halls smell like cigarette smoke, but my room didn’t have this problem at all. This facility is close the the freeway, which makes it convenient for those passing through Boise. About the only downside is the lack of decent restaurants(unless you consider Copper Kitchen or Denny’s decent). That knocks one star off the rating.

I stayed here coming and going on a flight in and out of Boise before driving to another destination. The staff were the nicest, most professional kind people I have met in a hotel of any caliber. The manager walked me out to the parking lot to point me to the right direction on the freeway. We left my daughter’s blankie, and it was all bagged up and ready when we returned. Now if only the occupants could refrain from smoking in the non-smoking rooms! Yuck!
