Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

This is a terrific Sherwin-​Williams store, and I highly recommend it because of the knowledgeable and friendly employees who work there. I have been buying SW paint for several years, ever since the contractor painting our house recommended this paint and used it to paint our exterior. The paint and paintbrush quality is top-​notch. I purchase the Duration paint, and am always very happy with the results. Same with the SW «Contractor series» brushes and the Purdy brushes.
The employees, though, are what make this store really rock. They never push opinions or ideas, but are happy to help when a customer has a question. For example, in deciding on a paint primer, the employee knew everything possible about the various pros and cons of the several primers available. He didn’t try to tell me what to buy, but instead described what I could expect from the two primers I narrowed down to. I was able to make an informed decision I feel great about.
For the last few weeks I struggled finding the perfect paint color for a room. After looking through billions of paint chips, the color I wanted was «between» two SW colors, and I asked for help finding that color. The employees were extremely helpful, and had access to colors available elsewhere. I was thrilled when one employee pointed out what she thought was the «between» color – she was absolutely correct! And I am overjoyed with the result. Finding the perfect color you want is important!
For paint, go to a paint store and not a department within a larger box store. More specifically and like many contractors, I highly recommend Sherwin Williams paint. In the Treasure Valley, you’ll find that this store is 30 seconds off of the Gowen Road (exit 57) exit, super easy to access and well worth your time.

I go to this Sherwin-​Williams because it’s right off the freeway, low-​key and never crowded. They have a variety of colors, and the mid-​grade to high-​grade are the best coating quality for my walls. I’ve bought many buckets of paint for my home painting projects, and even epoxy coating for my garage floor. The best time to buy paint and supplies is when they have their 30−40% sales, usually on a holiday weekend or season sale.
