Today I snuck out of church to indulge in some delicious, hearty and cheap tacos! Have you tried Taco Bell lately? Seriously the menu is exploding with options and I can’t get enough! You can’t beat a nacho supreme or a crunch wrap supreme… But I’ve recently discovered the most tempting thing here… Cinnabon dessert :) Little bite-sized donut holes filled with just the perfect amount of frosting! Ooooh my heavenly dayz. Get some, get some today – skip church, or skip work, but get some today!

Dear Taco Bell, Yesterday after a hard-fought battle won on the soccer field, I pulled into the local Taco Bell for some spicy snacks. I chose Taco Bell on this day because on my last visit I had the most delicious hot sauce ever– Diablo sauce! Upon ordering three items I promptly asked for a copious amount of the new Diablo sauce. When I got home and looked in my bag, to my dismay, pimply-little ‘Christian C.’ had only given me a paltry THREE packets(one packet per item). Your food simply is not good enough to stand alone. This is why you offer taco sauce hot enough to burn my taste buds off. I except that, and this is why I come. Your food is just a vehicle for sauce. Consequently, eating your food nearly plain, has opened my eyes to how truly disappointing a mouthful of Taco Bell is. Thank god a Del Taco opened up in my neighborhood, because my boys over there at ‘the Del’ do it right. I can guarantee that I will receive enough Del Inferno sauce to completely cover every item I order, just the way I like it. If I can’t fill a kiddy pool with the leftover sauce packets from my meal, I accuse the guy of skimping on the sauce, but what happened yesterday was a sauce atrocity… a sauce-trocity! Three packets is simply not sufficient for adequate coverage on my Nachos Bell Grande, let alone my other items. Due to the lack of homogeneity in your Nachos, and the sauce-rationing going on at your Eagle Rd. location, I was forced to eat several plain tortilla chips. Live Mas?! MASSAUCE!!!

I’m actually giving this Taco Bell 4 stars in the category of fast Mexican food. This place used to be crazy slow and get everything wrong. In the past 6 months things have improved immensely! I believe there is a different shift manager for the weekday lunches. Everything was fresh, made correctly and quickly delivered. Standard Taco Bell fare. So — if you haven’t tried this one for a while, give it another shot.

I grade on a curve, so don’t feel too bad that I gave it one star. I still eat here once a month. Its a chain restaurant where most every item on the menu is quite unhealthy and utterly un-Mexican. Obviously I eat here occasionally, but I’m never excited to, and just because I eat here occasionally doesn’t merit giving it two stars. They serve Pepsi products and are open at very late hours, which is great. They have blended Mountain Dew products as well. Plus.
