Description

Specialties

Family style, made from scratch Indian and Pakistani cuisine. The Best in Boise and the Northwest. What to expect: Homemade Indian and Pakistani food prepared using the freshest ingredients by one chef. That chef happens to be my Mother :) You can expect an extensive beer selection with micro-brews, IPA’s, Porters, and several Belgian Beers. Over 40 to choose from at any given day. You can expect food made from scratch to your preference, and entrée’s you won’t find at your typical curry in a can Indian Diner. Expect spices to be cooked right when you order them, an amazing Vegan and Vegitarian selection. Expect a good time at an amazing location in the heart of downtown Boise with live music, cultural expositions at one of the few owner-operated businesses in town.

What not to expect:

Fast food. Unfortunately due to the specialization of every dish we are unable to provide really quick order to table service unless you’re joining us for our lunch buffet! We hope you enjoy

History

Established in 2009.

The Taj Mahal: Downtown was opened on September 15th, 2009. It is a family-owned and operated restaurant.
