The Learning Station Early Education Center

I initially put my daughter into the Learning Station, after touring the facility and meeting the staff. I really liked the group home style setup, which makes it feel like a home away from home. However, as the months went on, I realized a huge error in their business management. My daughter was in daycare from 8:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday. As a single mother, this is your only option and you work with them on every other issue you can at home, like potty-​training. My dad, sister, and I also noticed that my daughter would have soiled clothing almost everyday. They were neglecting to change her as often as she needed. Kim also sent my daughter home in another girls clothes saying «she won’t mind, just bring them back.» I denied that, since I’d be very upset if she used my daughters clothing for that purpose. She also would strip the kids down for diaper changes in front of everybody, including boys (which my daughter is clearly a female). Not acceptable. I wasn’t aware that my daughters dad failed to pay the bill in full the week before. I had been out of town and was not aware until I brought her to daycare the next Monday. Kim approached me shaking explaining she «doesn’t work for free.» Being a business professional, I understand that myself. I let her know I would call and take care of it today but instead she yelled and told me to «GET OUT!» in front of the entire daycare. I asked for the rest of my daughters belongings, paid whatever wasn’t covered by the other side of the family, and left. I will never let my daughter around caretakers who can’t even handle their own emotions properly. BE VERY CAREFUL who watches your kids. They don’t even have cameras set up in this establishment.
