My partner an I came for lunch. Despite the restaurant being slow we received Outstanding service. It was our first time there and we will be returning!

I had never been to the melting pot before last night. It was wonderful. For starters I had a couple of white peach cosmos that were delicious. We then ordered the four course meal. The cheese and bread would have been a meal all by itself. It was sooooo good. I had steak and lobster and every bite was decadent. Of course the chocolate fondue was to die for. Our server was wonderful. She was knowledgable and very friendly. It is a bit spendy, but certainly not over the top considering how much food you get and the quality. I plan on going back in the future. The only complaint I had was how full I was! It was a wonderful experience all the way around!

This is as good as any Melting Pot in the country. They have many options and if you have a special night this is a great experience. A tip is there is too much food given even for the high price. So maybe go for the salad, cheese, and desert… you will not go hungry.

I was really excited to come here for Dine Out Boise and left extremely satisfied! We did the three course meal for $ 30 and didn’t regret any of it. Starting with the cheese, I could have just eaten that and been satisfied. I really love cheese, like way too much, so as long as I had cheese I could have left happy. I really liked that the course came with others up options than bread and vegetables because it made me try things that I was unaccustomed to. We stayed with the simple broth option and I know I’m just picky, but my goodness it was salty I’m pretty sensitive to salt so it really was distracting for me, but it is broth to boil the meat in so I should not be that surprised. The steak covered in pepper was SO good and I loved the sesame covered chicken as well. The waiters bring out sauce options and it was so yummy and fun to try to find the best pairing. Then for dessert we did the clamming turtle. It was good. But I think I would just stick to the regular chocolate next time. I loved the candied pecans that came with it! Overall, it’s a very cool building and was very intimate. I would definitely come back for an event rather than just a dining out option.

What a cool place! My family and I made reservations a month in advance and came in early the day of, and the seated us immediately. They had great drinks, and great service. Our Server Ryan was funny, and very helpful, bonus points for dealing with our crazy family. The food was delicious, and looked beautiful. I’ll definitely go back for more.

Great location, great food, and great staff(Hailey)!! We had an excellent time here. Love the intimate atmosphere and the overall dining experience. We had the cheddar cheese with a bullion base, house salad, vegetarian entrée(we eat meat but after thanksgiving we felt like taking a break, but just the veggies are amazing by themselves), and the original chocolate. All delicious choices. I would even come here just for a cheese appetizer or chocolate dessert.

The Melting Pot is typically the same regardless of city. That’s the thing one runs into with chains. That being said, the Boise location is a pleasant dining option with a nice experience thrown in. That’s the best part about fondue dining– the fact that it’s interactive and an experience.

The Melting Pot is probably the most romantic restaurant in Boise, it is a great place to spoil a date or surprise the wife with. The food is great but the atmosphere and staff result in an outstanding and unequalled experience. The nice thing is you can spend $ 120 on a multi course feast or just drop by for cheese fondue or chocolate fondue dessert and spend $ 20 to $ 30.

My fiancé and I both got food poisoning after eating here… about 1 hour later. I have spoken to other friends who have been to the same and different locations and they have said they experienced similar situations. However our waiter Marty was awesome!!! Dine here at your own risk!

Of course always a great time! I call this place an occasion place. I always leave stuffed and I know I won’t be back unless I have a special thing planned. I do have to add though that our salad was wilted and our service was slow but we went with the flow and enjoyed the fun experience! Go if you haven’t gone!

We enjoyed a nice dinner at The Melting Pot. We had reservations for a Saturday evening meal. We seated promptly. The restaurant was very clean and presentable. We chose the four course meal. It came with a selection of cheese fondue, Land Lovers dish and dessert. The cheese fondue we selected had bacon and jalapeños in it. The Land Lovers contained filet mignon, chicken and shrimp. The dessert we chose was the chocolate and candied pecans. Food quality was five star. The meal took two hours to complete. It was nice to eat slow and enjoy the experience. The only negative was the price. I had two mixed drinks and my wife had some fancy mojito and a beer and with tip we ripped out at $ 135. Though it was really pricey we left very full.

Food was solid. One server dedicated to our table was fantastic… but as far as value… overpriced for what you get.

It is a 4 course dining experience that had my taste buds zinging! I am going to take my husband to experience the Melting Pot when he gets home from the Army. The service was impeccable and Kennedy was knowledgeable with GREAT recommendations! Finally a sexy date night restaurant, that really makes each bite an adventure.

Visiting town and stopped in for dinner. They are open later than a lot of other places and my mom had never been. The food is what you expect for The Melting Pot, if you haven’t been it’s worth a try. The food is good and the experience is fun. Our favorites are the cheese and deserted courses but their salads are also worth the try. The service was awesome, we had Paige helping us and she alone is worth giving this place 5 stars. Helpful, friendly, courteous and patient. She didn’t hover but was always at hand for questions, refills or anything else we needed. If we are in the area again we will be back!

I love the melting pot! We never have anything but excellent food and service! The Yin Yang cocktail is delicious! You always come away full! I love the atmosphere as well, it’s quiet and you don’t have to shout over loud and obnoxious background music.

Been here, eaten that. But tonight?! Tonight was AMAZING! Tyler, our waiter, was spot on. He made sure we were all happy and fully fed. The best part– chose a wine that hit every note and saved my wine rep with my aunt! My cousin needs gluten free and after eating the strawberries, Tyler brought out a GF cheesecake for her. So accommodating and hospitable– not to mention the food was fantastic. Very pleased.

This place has wonderful customer service and the food is amazing. Expect to pay out the nose(but so worth it!). My husband and I always do the four course experience and find that it is the best option price wise, and we are never disappointed.

My wife had been to a location in Arizona years ago and loved it… so when our daughter gave us money to treat ourselves to dinner(stipulation: it had to be a good place for a date) we decided to come to the Melting Pot in Boise. WOW! I love fondue, but thought it was basically a «dip your food in cheese sauce» thing, but I was wrong. The courses were a great salad, the bread/vegetable cheese fondue, meat and vegetables in a wine sauce and dessert chocolate fondue. The portions seemed small for the price, but it was filling. There are several choices in what to get, and being my first time here, I can’t make any recommendations. BUT any place that knows what a «Vesper Martini» is and makes it accurately to Ian Fleming’s recipe(adding bitters to compensate for the reformulated Lillet) earns high marks from me from the start. For my wife and I, each having a drink, we spent $ 112.00 including tip. Great food and very private and cozy. If you have some extra bucks, want to go out for a nice dinner and don’t want the usual same old thing, go to The Melting Pot.
