I have only ever gotten on Unilocal when I’m mad about something but love this place so much I figured I’d go out of my way to leave my first positive review. Go here a few times a month. All the food has been awesome. The Optimus Prime rib philly is my favorite but I’m getting close to trying about everything on the menu. Not a single thing I didn’t like. The artichoke spinach jalapeño dip is my go-to app. Beer selection is nice. They have a happy hour. Service is always awesome. Anyway, for all the complaining I do on Unilocal these guys made me go out of my way to leave a positive review so go check them out.

Need somewhere to go where you can get a burger AND sushi. Bingo. And all a stones throw away from I-84. Willowcreek Grill is attached to Raw Sushi and you will be given a menu to both restaurants when you are seated. If you like American and Japanese, be prepared to change your mind several times. Waitstaff are friendly and wear smiles. The décor of the place is pretty unremarkable but that’s just fine. You’re there for one of their tasty wraps or sandwiches. They have wonderful sweet potato fries and several beers on tap to compliment your meal. Location is a bit odd if you want to hit downtown or a club after dinner, but Vista Avenue is super accessible for most people in the Treasure Valley. Worth a go!

Have to say I don’t understand the high reviews. Food was average at best, service was sub par. Restaurant was cold-to be fair it was cold outside. No need to ever come back

I ordered the Bleu Cheese Burger with sweet potato fries, and the Salmon BLT with Salmon chowder to take away for my lazy kid back at the hotel. Both of them taste great, the Salmon chowder is super memorable! Yes, a great choice instead of Applebee’s.

I jumped in here for a quick bite on a business trip and loved it. Lots of variety and my dish was great. The other dishes coming out looked no less appetizing. If I’m in the area again, I’d recommend it to my friends

For starters, I went in here for the first time the other day & when I first walked in I was a little confused. When you walk in there’s the bathroom at first sight and then you can go left or right, one way leads you to the restaurant next door and the other leads you to Willowcreek. Besides that, I had the Thai peanut wrap with French fries. It was SO good for such a reasonable price. I ate the entire thing without thinking twice and the wraps are HUGE. Even after I was stuffed to capacity I wanted another day after day. It’s a craving I have consistently now. Their service was great, the atmosphere was very cozy, and their food is amazing I’ll definitely be back time and time again.

We had some friends visiting from out of town and were looking for a nice restaurant that served a variety of dishes. Willowcreek Grill filled the bill on that count. The menu is fairly extensive so there is something for every taste. We all ordered either sandwiches or salads. Everything arrived quickly and I could tell that the ingredients were fresh. Service was friendly. I had the chicken broccoli feta Greek salad. Although crisp and light, the salad was rather bland. It was basically a big bed of raw broccoli, with a grilled chicken breast that had little seasoning. The feta and olives gave it an assist in the flavor department, but It relied completely on the dressing to bring all the elements together. There was also a side of garlic toast that was ice cold and had bits of raw garlic atop. All in all, it was a good place to meet but the meal didn’t leave me with the wow factor that would otherwise keep me coming back.

We had relatives come in Saturday Sept 26th from out of town who had never been to Idaho before. We were excited to take them out to dinner on their first night in town, sitting outside and enjoying the late September warm weather. We choose Willow Creek Grill in Eagle for that experience. I called ahead and asked about their corkage fee which I was told they didn’t have one as long as we ordered dinner. When we got to the restaurant we were informed very politely by our server Lori that there was a corkage fee. In addition to our server informing us we were reminded a second time by an extremely rude, tatted up, pierced up woman who wanted to make sure that there was no confusion about the fee. Good customer service would have been to not charge us the fee and leave it at that. But with the way we were informed by the second person we now have a very bad taste in our mouths regarding the restaurant and they lack of customer service. Additionally, not to mention how embarrassing the situation was in front of our out-of-town relatives. Sadly, we are not sure if we will be back to Willow Creek Grill again or at least not anytime soon.

The food while slightly overpriced was decent. The shrimp lettuce wraps were a bit of a shock when they came out like sushi rolls wrapped in seaweed with the lettuce sticking out. The shrimp was very fresh and not overwhelmed by any of the other ingredients in the wrap. I had the sushi roll with avocado and eel on top which was really good and way larger than I expected. Service was a bit lacking, I sat at the bar and felt like the employees all looked at me not sure who was supposed to serve me and not wanting to take someone else’s table but lead to no one addressing me for a while.

Soup and salad today was a great light lunch. Clam chowder was homemade and outstanding. Accompanying salad was spinach, cranberry, walnut and blue cheese combo. Perfect pairing.

Their Gyros are simply amazing! It’s difficult to really order anything else when I go back. I also love ordering miso soup from raw sushi next door.

Om Nom Nom, three very capable words to describe Willow Creek. Ive driven past it 1000 time on my way back to the North End from the airport without giving a second though. Some friends on the bench recommended it so we gave it a shot. We have been back multiple times since. A little odd getting a sushi menu for a grill but it is attatched to raw sushi. The sushi is awesome. When it comes to happy hour menus theirs is great, sweet potato tater tots(Serisously?!) And grab a couple of sushi rolls and or a burger and you are set. I now have no problem leaving my blanket of comfort of downtown and venturing south for great food.

My mom insisted on this for dinner as she loves their Salmon Run salad. The restaurant has a substantial menu and a lot of things seemed like they were worth trying. My mom’s salad looked good but I wanted something a little more substantial so I tried the the Big Blue salad as a wrap with fries. It was simply ok as I was eating it and gave me a gassy belchy stomach ache later. My husband got a boca burger which didn’t look much like a boca burger… it looked pale and unappetizing. He said it wasn’t that good… let me quote him, «It was edible.» The service was good and we sat by the fire in the back, which was nice… but I wouldn’t choose to go back… too many other good restaurants in town. And, maybe it’s just me, but the location seems bizarre and isolated.

My husband and I ordered take out from Willowcreek and RAW. I got sushi(which was fab!). He ordered from Willowcreek. First; LOVE that they have two restaurants in one. I can have sushi while my family of non-sushi eaters can have burgers.(I now have another sushi eater as my husband was finally converted. He has hated it every time he’s tried it but RAW served him a roll with some awesome Fuji sauce he could not resist) He ordered a Hickory burger with«twigs» aka French fries. Oh my gosh those fries were soooo good. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and plump on the inside. He said his burger was one of the best he’s had. He can make a mean burger so that says something. We will definitely becoming back!

Great food, including the sushi menu. Great beer on tap. Friendly, attentive, competent staff. Patio is great in the summer, as they have an arbor. Plenty of shade.
