Well not that we come here often but we definitely won’t be back! We came on a kids holiday from school we should have known better. But still this was no excuse for the restaurant to be in the condition as it was in! If we saw everything before we would have probably turned and walked out the door! There was food all over the floor, straw wrappers, napkins, you name it! I felt something under my feet it was a cup that someone obviously dumped or threw under the table! I watched repeated times as the servers or runners whatever you want to call them would never pick up anything. Ahhh hello?! They weren’t busy when we were leaving. Common sense people? Their food is good and that is the only reason they’re getting 2 stars! We sat near the door and I got up to close it because it was freezing by it. It was close to being below zero! I got up and kicked the stopper out and closed it. Then the table next to us said well you’ll understand why we wanted it opened. Well yes every time someone walked through it would slam back and freak everyone out! Put some grease or WD-40 or get someone over to fix it? It didn’t appear that there were any managers or «older» people in the restaurant working so I figured I would just come here and blab all my complaints. Bad, bad service– Go Roma! No wonder Mom had a coupon I guess you have to get people in here some way because there isn’t anything else that would get me back!

Service was slow, 20 minutes to receive food(there were only three or four other tables with customers), chicken portion was very small and over-cooked, and the bread stick was doughy. The only positive was the spinach side dish. Besides the unpleasant food experience every table we tried to sit at was dirty. If this wasn’t enough the bathroom was also in need of attention. The management here needs to step up and do their job!

This used to be our favorite spot. We would go every week. However about 6 months ago not only did they change menu but they cut portions in half while keeping the prices pretty much same. If you are going to cut portions in half then you should do same with the price. Disappointed and I think you guys have lost a lot of business for this reason. $ 10 for a small bowl(like a bow of cereal small) of pasta??? No thanks. At least most places that price give you soup or salad with your meal.

We ordered the Mac n cheese which was extremely watery and very bland, the tomato basil soup which was too salty, and the caprese sandwich only had a small piece of mozzarella. We asked one of the workers if the Mac n cheese was supposed to have that much water and she said«I have no idea» and walked away. Terrible food and service, will not return.

Mediocre food at best. Not worth the money. Had the kids meal pizza, sun dried tomato and goat cheese pizza, and the rustic rigatoni. Thought the chocolate pudding cake would make up for all that, but no.

We did a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society here in April, 2015. I have repeatedly asked for the results of this fundraiser and asked about the check in-person. I have been told by the manager that corporate hasn’t gotten the check to them yet. Other managers have no clue about the fundraiser and tell me to talk to the other guy. I have emailed multiple times with no response. It is now August, 2015 and I have given up. I used to love eating there but I can’t anymore. If someone had just responded to my inquiries it might be different. I feel like they conned us into making all out friends and family eat there for the fundraiser and then kept the money… that would have gone to cancer research!

This used to be one of my favorite it was simple, well priced fast«Italian food». I am sad to say that is not the case anymore the portions had been cut in half and the menu has changed(again). The quality of the food is poor I had one bite and left it all. Go Roma changed for the bad. SMH

This is the only pizza our whole family loves. Our favorite pizzas are the roasted vegetable and the sun-dried tomato. Their pear and walnut salad is amazing as well. The food is always amazing and the servers are always polite. We have been coming here for years and we have never experienced bad food or bad servers.

I’ve been coming here as long as it’s been open. I love the salads and soups. My favorite is the chop salad and the pear walnut salad. Their iced tea was great. Was. They changed it recently and it is so disappointing.

We’ve been occasional diners to this Go Roma since it open a few years ago. And when it first opened, we thought it was great. We got above average food at a decent price. But the past few visits we’ve seen a pretty substantial decline in the food. I ordered my go-to dish, the country style rigatoni and the rigatoni was under cooked, not al dente, but undercooked. And the sauce was bland. The sauce was also extremely watery(probably why it tasted bland), leading me to believe the pasta hadn’t been drained properly. My wife had the chicken parm and encountered the same dishes my dish had. If this was an isolated incident, I would be willing to overlook it. But I would say this type of visit is now more the norm, than the exception. Sadly, we won’t be coming back anymore.

I’ve been coming here since it opened. It was great. But unfortunately the quality has steadily declined. Today is my last time coming here. I came with a group of friends, everyone ordered pasta, we ordered a half plank, and I ordered a tomato basil soup. The pasta was really salty, so was my soup. No one finished their meals because of it. I really wish that the quality would come back.

The staff are super friendly and the service overall is really good. It’s very clean and the food is good quality. It’s the one place the whole family can go and everyone leaves happy.

This was my first time to a Go Roma and I was really impressed. They have a great menu– I had such a hard time picking what I wanted. I ended up with the Country-Style Rigatoni– WOW– delicious. I would get that again in a heartbeat. It came with a tasty breadstick too. The restaurant was clean, the staff were pleasant, there was a lot of seating and it was spaced well so you felt you could still have a private conversation, and they have a Freestyle Coca Cola machine too. Great place, delicious food!

I love Go Roma, its one of my fav. sandwich places, they have pastas and pizzas there too but i really just keep showing up for the sandwiches, The best one is the Chicken Pomodoro(oh and they have a apple crostada there too that i enjoy) although The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because sometimes they are a little inconsistent with their quality. Ive gotten it once where they didn’t remove the stems off my spinach… come on guys thats just lazy no one wants to eat the stems… and another time I got it and the spinach was like tissue paper, no taste, very dry and could easily of turned to powder, sad :(and Ive gone when everything on the sandwich was warm except the chicken… boooo no good! and this last time i went, I don’t know if they ran out or someone didn’t know the difference but they put a crap ton of fresh basil on my sandwich instead of spinach… ouch… even with those mess ups i still come back because when then nail it… its so freaking worth it and so darn good, also the calamari is decent, the sauce is a little bland though. The mozzarella sticks they don’t do anymore but those were amazing, but now they have a bread ravioli that was pretty good… the fries are awesome and skinny love them… the pizza actually isn’t too bad, but if u are just going there for pizza I wouldn’t, its not a «main attraction» or anything… they also have beer and wine there but I don’t go there for that, its just offered. Everyone Ive gone there with has loved it and lucky for them their biggest complaints was the fries being too salty sometimes. So all in all it is a great place, nice random quick wednesday dinner or lunch, place is clean and fairly big, staff is nothing to brag about, they get u in and out lol but Ill be back… hmm perhaps tonight

I’ve been to this location many times and I always leave a happy customer. In fact, I ate at this location in the afternoon of 2÷8÷14. The young lady behind the register was super sweet. I’m glad she was there instead of the(chubby) African American woman who I encountered a few months ago. She had such a snooty attitude with all the customers, rolling her eyes. The food is delicious and fresh.

It took about 3 minutes to get someone to come to the front counter with 6 people in line. The re were only 2 clean tables in thw whole place with only about 5 tables actually being used at the time. Paper and food all over the flior. The place was a wreck. The food was overpriced and only marginal. Probably wont be back. Might give 1 more try before cutting it iff totally since this may not be the norm. But tonight it was not good at all.

You can’t beat Go Roma for good, fast and affordable Italian food. The service is always much better than the average«order at the counter» place too. This is also a great place to bring the kids and it’s fun to sit outside in the summer and watch the Promenade shoppers go by. It’s a better deal to order the Full portions of pasta for just a few dollars more. Their flatbreads and a salad or soup make a great meal and leave some room to try a dessert — we love the Apple Crostada! I miss the days when I worked in Bolingbrook and we would frequently cater from Go Roma.

I come here too many times to count now. It’s such a nice go-to place that has fast-food service, easy on the wallet and the food quality is quite decent. They will bring the food to your table like Culver’s too. Come here with friends for lunch or quick dining when you don’t want to deal with long lines and reservations. This place is my default place when I want to meet a friend for dinner and no other places stick out in mind. In the summer, they have outdoor seatings and it can be quite of a relaxing experience. At this particular location, it’s in a strip mall so after you eat, you can walk it off and go shopping at the stores nearby. I love to get their half plank(good for 2) or full plank pizza. I usually get the Italian Sausage pizza. Their tomato soup is excellent too.
