I’m giving this 5 stars because the service is great, price is as expected for the location, most of all I look gorgious again(well as much as I can for an old lady). I always wonder why I don’t see customers in here. I think it’s because, as far as I know, they just don’t advertise! Great for me, love coming here to relax and get pretty on my day off. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep coming here!

I was really impressed with this salon. My husband got his hair cut here and it’s the best hair cut he’s had in awhile. It’s a bit far for us, as we live in Hyde Park, but we will definitely try to schedule ikea trips around the time he needs a haircut so we can come here again. Also, very affordable — $ 17!

I had a great experience with Catrina, the manager of the salon. She took me with very short notice and did a great job on my hair. She trimmed it and made it more even. She took her time with my hair and did a great job molding and curling it. It was a very humid day, so she took the extra time to use humidity resistance products so my hair would not fall. I got soooo many compliments on it! Thank you so much! I found my regular stylist definitely!

Okay. Where do I start. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this place and that is an understatement. My first appointment started out great, but it went down hill rapidly from there. My first appointment was with Vicki. Don’t get me wrong, she does not hair, but it not reliable with appointments and will cancel the day of regardless. This happened more than once. Frustrated, I took another fill-in for her named Katrina. WOW, first off, she was LATE by about 20 min. I didn’t mind that she was late, but she didn’t even have the decency to apologize for the inconvenience. She was extremely unprofessional and I don’t like people doing my hair, whose hair(her weave) looks a mess. Sure enough, my hair look HORRIBLE. I was not happy whatsoever. I gave her a nice tip regardless and she took it and walked away. LOL, crazy right? I called and complained about my hair and Tolando, who is the manager of this salon took me the next time. Hmmmm. Where do I start with this one? Well I had a coupon for my next appointment that they give when your a first time customer. Tolando give me a hair cut and cut one side about a half inch shorter than the other. I WASSOOOPISSED. She just shrugged her shoulders and didn’t care when I told her. Then she tried to overcharge me and I said something. I ended up paying more for the same thing that I got the previous two times AND I had a coupon this time… Isn’t that a bit weird? YES! I talked to her about it and she just said, «Well the other girls were ringing you up wrong»…MMMMMMDOUBTIT. I doubt someone who has been working in a salon for that amount of time doesn’t know how to ring up someone. Bottom line, extremely unprofessional. I found another hair stylist at another salon who keeps appoints and a consistent price. It is a shame, but I can see why the salon is always DEAD and I’m the only one there. It is because how they treat their customers and the level of professionalism. Do not let their fancy wallpaper and chairs fool you. I was fooled.
