Great service from the ladies who work there. The only drawback is that most times that I go in, there’s usually a wait. As most of us know, it can be somewhat of a project getting shoes fitted for kids – esp. toddlers. Mine has decided he will not be trying on – much less wearing sandals this summer, so you can imagine how long I was in there this past weekend trying to convince him otherwise. Just so you know, I lost. The saleswomen were very patient, and lucky for us, we were the only ones in the store for a long time. Take note that the play area is right across the way. Good luck getting past that without stopping.

I have 14-month old twins and had to get them their first pair of good shoes. We breezed in there and within moments my daughter was having a meltdown because the saleswoman had to measure her foot, which means she had to(*gasp!*) TOUCHHERFOOT. She does not take too kindly to strangers touching her. So while she’s having a good ol’ freakout, another saleswoman asks if she can pick up my son to get him fitted too. So she’s wrestling these little hightops onto my son, and I’m holding my daughter(who is, by the way, sobbing & hiccuping!) while the other lady tries to wriggle her shoes onto her. Then my son starts up because he likes to be barefoot. They are screaming… tears streaming… I am sweating… all in all we were the picture of bliss. But I’ll tell ya, these two saleswomen just took it all in stride(ooh, look how I used a word from the name of the store IN my review. Nice)…I guess they have had crying kids in their store before but its still relatively new to me. The saleswomen were kind, knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me(even if they did have to yell a bit over the sad, sad babies!). I was a bit bummed that we didn’t get as much of a selection as I would have liked, but my son needed high-tops for extra support and there just wasn’t that much too choose from in that realm. I guess we have years and years of cute shoe-choosing ahead of us… hopefully not too many more sobbing-in-the-shoe-store episodes. Wishful thinking.
