Twin Pines Resort

The overall feeling of the place is something I’d recommend to a family or small group looking for a spot a little bit away from Lake George’s buzz. Twin Pines is still close enough to easily get milk or head out for dinner in town, but the lake feels like it’s all yours. The staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating.
We stayed in Beach 1, and our room was great.
The lake itself is beautiful, and the kayaks, boats, and canoes are available for use, which is a fantastic addition.
It’s a lovely spot overall :)

This has to have been the best vacation I’ve had in a very long time. We stayed a small group of 3 at the Mohawk Cabin, 2 bed, 2 bath and a pretty decent living area. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans etc. We arrived around 11pm, Tom (the greatest) just handed us our keys and said goodnight. No hassle, no check in, very smooth. Boats are made available for use at no charge. The view is fantastic. I think i have found ultimate perfection. And thanks to Tom and his great

This was quite the interesting place …
We stayed here because we were looking for an affordable place in the Lake George area so we could raft in the Adirondacks, dine, and party in Lake George. We had a party of 9. The accommodation we stayed in was a log cabin with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, and kitchen.
Pros:
— Price is right! Can’t beat the value. 9 of us stayed there comfortably for 2 nights for $ 45 each.
— The place is on Lake Trout and they have canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats to use. Just go up to the dock, take one, and plop it in the water.
Cons:
— A bit rundown.
— «Stocked» kitchen wasn’t really stocked at all.
— Everything inside the place was from the 60’s.
Overall, we enjoyed our time.
