Great Place and great food. Recommended by the owner of paw house inn, where we stayed with our dog. The staff was wonderful and so accommodating. We loved it so much we ate there twice with our dog. It’s a dog friendly Resturant. You can eat with your dog outside and watch the beautiful scenery across the road. They will give your dog treats and water to occupy them while you eat. The owner is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Vermont. Definitely will go back if we’re ever in Vermont.

Unbelievably friendly people and great food. My husband had the ‘cowboy steak’(special for the night) and the sauce/marinade tasted so sweet and juicy. I had the chicken Rosalyn, which tasted great. The best features of this place was the view of the lake and mountains as you eat outside. They are also dog friendly and we got to sit outside, eat, enjoy the view, all while our dog hung out with us right by our side. We’ll be back on our next trip to the area.

Aside from the great view of Lake Bomoseen, the food is very good — easily rivaling all other good restaurants in the Lakes Region. Having visited hundreds of times, I’ve never had a bad meal. The bread & salad bar is very good, and the drinks are very generous. One caution: Be sure you make reservations for after-5:00 arrivals on weekends, and every night in July and August.

Great view of Lake Bomosen which comes in handy because it takes 30 minutes to get drinks. The bread bar was the only good thing. Bartender served us because waitress seemed to have forgot about us. Food tasted microwaved and frozen. We had reservations for 6:15 but they forgot we had reservations. Overall, terrible service and bad food. Some work is needed.
