Bonita Boarding Kennel and Pet Camp

Bonita Pet Camp is very reliable and conscientious in handling my pet and all others who are boarded there or have daycare. We’ve travelled many times (short getaways or international travel) since moving to SW Florida and every time we return our dog is in excellent shape. The videos BPC provides daily of large and small dog clusters reassures pet owners of their disposition. Have no second thoughts or worries. Thank you BPC for your excellent service! My name is Rocky. I am a twenty pound bundle of dynamite. My owners bring me to BBK when they go away. I have so much fun here and meet some of the coolest dogs. We get to run and play, we get lots of pets and hugs from our caregivers. It is a great vacation for me!

In March we after reviewing the local ratings and a visit boarded our three year old dog there. Bad decision. First drop off. I imagine many if not all folks who do an early morning drop off are on their way to the airport. So one would think a client would be handled promptly. Think again although I was greeted and there were several employees around the lead individual (owner or manager) left us and engaged in a prolonged conversation with several employees. Leaving us to nervously check our watches after ten — fifteen minutes I was able to get the attention of one of the handlers and mentioned our time crush that brought the manager out, who then absolutely rushed us out with lil into on our pup. I mentioned that at times he can be leash aggressive with people but likes to play with other dogs. He is always playful with other dogs I also had a few items in his bag which were taken with out any comment –
Flash forward five days. Back to pick up pup. I had previously arranged for him to be groomed on the morning of our return (11:30) when we arrived at the airport I called and no The groomer hadn’t groomed and hey you can pick him up at four. We declined. Arrived and again no other clients around but owner on phone and some surly female assistant prepared the bill. the icing was that the assistant stated they had to separate our dog as he was aggressive towards other dogs! Seriously? Never a problem before never a problem since! Huge fan of dog parks! Do not know how he was introduced to the other dogs or if they had the wrong fog but truly rude and unpleasant people
Can’t even begin to imagine how they can operate as they do!
