Stan’s Super Subs and Deli

Simply the best! They have been in this area forever and have never done wrong by me. The Hero’s are like home NY style no subway crap here. The people are kind and genuine and the gooey cake is to die for! Go now!!!

Had to try this place after seeing photos of their subs. Ordered 4 different ones including two different meatballs, a hot ham and cheese, and a cheesesteak. Nothing premade here, the ham was sliced and piled high, I was drooling just watching the man work, and by doggie he had them all made so fast it made my head spin… or perhaps that was the hunger… not sure. Best subs I’ve ever had! Friendly people too!

We order from Stan’s all the time for delivery. Usually 30 mins or less it arrives. The best sub shop around! Beware, they are monster subs…

Stopped in for my first time to grab a sub and highly recommend! Chicken salad was so fresh and flavorful! Staff was fast and friendly and I got a free Coke for checking in on Unilocal!Was also told they have free delivery, which is so convenient for those of us who are stuck in an office from 9 – 5. Will def be ordering from them again!

By far the greatest sub I have had in my life. Go there whoever I can. I can never finish a whole sub. Everything is fresh and tastes great! If I lived in Bonita I’d be there at 2 – 3 times a week.

OK I know Publix is the place to go for Subs down here, but this off the beaten trail sub shop is a MUST for any local or out of towner. The small shop is run by (what I’m assuming is family) and they’re all very friendly. Everything is made to order and fresh that day.
Don’t let their ‘half’ and ‘full’ sized portions confuse you. Their half is definitely big enough for a meal. I had half an egg salad sandwich and it was delicious. Sometimes places overpower eggs with mayo and you just get a mayo flavored bread sandwich, but not here.
My fiancé ordered a cuban and although it was tasty she thought it wasn’t a true cuban, more a pressed meat sandwich. Something to keep in mind if you’re really a cuban sandwich aficionado (as apparently she claims to be)

Best sandwiches in Bonita, hands down. There is a reason a small mom and pop Sub Shop stays in business over 40 years and counting. The specialty subs are the way to go… I usually get the Real Italian and is phenomenal. As mentioned, the meat is sliced fresh and piled on – a half can easily fill me up. The deserts and sides are also all home made and very tasty. I recommend the potato salad — sooo good! The staff is wonderful and free delivery a big bonus! Everytime im there I always hear a tourist or snowbird exclaiming how this place is always a «regular stop on their vacation»…you can’t go wrong with Stans!!!

HUGE subs, freshly made, excellent service! You must visit when in Bonita Springs and get something off of the Specials menu. Don’t forget the Gooey dessert options!

Biggest subs on the west coast of Florida. Shaved fresh meat, smiling employees, great food. Don’t let the location lose you.

Awesome sub! I didn’t realize it wasn’t an eat in place but the staff was friendly. My sandwich had SOOOOO much meat I had to take some out. I felt it took attention away from how tasty the bread was. I ended up with probably a good solid 5 ounces of extra meat! Next time i would ask for less meat but I will definitely be back when I’m back in Bonita!

Hands down the best deli in SWFL. No seating available in side but there is a park nearby where you can enjoy a great meal and beautiful park. Portions are incredible and everything is made to order. The staff is beyond friendly and will make you feel like part of the family even if it’s your first time.

Today is my second time having something delivered to me from work by these guys. Before today I tried the French onion soup as part of a lunch special on Fridays (SO GOOD) it’s filled with all kinds of good things… And I mean filled… And I tried The Godfather which was great too. But today I opted for The King which was amazing, the special dressing is too good for life… And a 16oz side of chicken salad, because not too many people is real mayo instead of miracle whip in their chick salad anymore. Let me tell you this… The chicken salad looks good but it tastes about 200 times better than you’d imagine.
They don’t charge a delivery fee, and they get to you like they say «as quickly as they can, I got my food in about 15 minutes tops.
All in all, I’m not typically a reviewer, but I think this place is great and I would seriously recommend you check out their menu.

Cuban sandwich is AMAZING! Other deli meat sandwiches were good as well. Kids said the chicken tender wrap and hot chicken strip sandwich just OK. Stay on the deli sandwich and you can’t go wrong.

Goods and bads and plenty of sandwich options out there so you should know what you are getting into. I see less good here than bad, and I’ll explain below.
— my sandwich wasn’t good at all. Philly cheese steak reminded me of that microwaved cheesy beef sandwich I had in grade school cafeterias. Would never order it again.
— hole in the wall and hard to find. This place isn’t really convenient to get to, and not the best part of town. Unless you live or work right there, don’t go out of your way.
— no seating. You can’t eat here… pick up and go.
— pricing… not any cheaper than the better places out there.
Even though these things wouldn’t make me go back, all I can think of good with this place is that it is family owned/​run, and in business over 40 years.
Some portion sizes are huge, so if you need to eat a football sized sub, I guess this place is for you

Stans subs is phenomenal they are the best subs iPad as far back as I can remember. Their whole subways in at over 2 pounds it’s filled with meat not junk the flavor is unbelievable, and everything they make is fresh as a daisy. If you visited Bonita Springs Florida without visiting Stans you missed one of the landmark restaurants of Bonita Springs

This place is a great local spot in Bonita. The sandwiches are huge and amazing. Soooo much meat. My favorite by far is the buffalo chicken sandwich. Best buffalo sandwich I have ever had.
The staff is incredibly friendly. The owner is almost always there and really tries to engage and get to know his customers. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Just polished off a Stomach Pleaser which is a bazaar combination if tuna, turkey, lettuce, tomato and 1000 Island Dressing. Strange combination that tasted really good.
The place is manned by five people at lunch time and the people are super nice. Remember to grab a free bag of chips on the way out.
The place is located in downtown Bonita on old 41.

Stan’s is a great local sub spot. You find a better stacked, traditional sub anywhere in SW Florida. Plan on leftovers (which taste great the next day) unless you are sharing.
The Italian is their most popular and is an instant classic. The Stomach Pleaser (Tuna and Turkey) is something you won’t find at any chain store and is one of my favorites. I do agree with Omar C. — stay away from the Cheese Steak. It’s flavorless and ‘dead’.
This is a 5 star spot for me — just stay away from the Cheese Steak until they make changes to it.

Awesome subs! LOTS OF MEAT! I had the Cuban and it was fantastic. Fast service. Take out only. Quick. Will come back again!
Update:
Had the real Italian yesterday… it was amazing! Literally the best Italian cold cut sandwich I’ve ever had. Again, it was big enough for two meals!

This local sub shop has been around for years. Ive been coming around for at least 20 years. The new owners took over a couple if years ago and carried on the excellent tradition.
Stans makes an incredible sub. Fresh meat and lots of it. A half will more than feed you and a whole will keep you fed for days. I’ve never had a hot sub, but heard of they were equally as good.
They usually have samples at the front counter of their homemade desserts.
Ask for a sub card. Buy 5 and 6^th one is free.
Stop in at Stans, you won’t be disappointed.
